- Welcome to Bushwick, where the streets are paved with reclaimed wood and the air smells faintly of overpriced beard oil. Join me on this sardonically savvy tour as we dissect the quixotic charm and bourgeois peculiarities of Brooklyn’s darling neighborhood. Bushwick, the metaphorical tip of the colonial white penis of gentrification, is a playground for the creatively inclined and a goldmine of eye-rolling oddities. From pop-up vegan bodegas to interpretive dance performances in abandoned warehouses, every corner offers a new opportunity for sarcastic commentary and intellectual eyebrow-raising. So grab your vintage camera and prepare to be simultaneously amused and bemused as we navigate the satire-laden streets of Bushwick.

Puerto Rocks used to run Bushwick
Bushwick is longtime Porto Roc stronghold indeed, I need yall to hold on to the Bway Myrtle/ Graham region. They coming for yall.
Most moved to either Florida or worst decision ever Philly. And the majority of the Philly ones moved to the worst area in existence German town, Kensington. Went there 6 months had a fully furnished house i came back to bushwick to be homeless abandoning the house over there in Philly rather be homeless here than that trash city
@@ncruz591 yeah I heard its mad Ricans Philly. I was surprised
@@Fortune332 yeah they all went over cause the rumor went rampant that it’s cheaper living out there which wasn’t wrong but they neglected to get the rest of the info. It’s drug ridden, gang ridden, addict ridden, all stores close at 5pm if u don’t get what u need by then u screwed, if you walk into a store with ur hoody on u get told take it off or else, mobs of dealers hang out on corners not on the low either 7 on one corner 3 on the other dudes selling to cars passing by like drive thru. I’m from nyc born raised, I’ve lived in the hood we talking eny cypress projects in the 90s, the hood there in Philly is different not meant for normal people. The people that live there and love it are people that trap and it’s the only thing they good at in life.
This should be a series. Would love to see this with other parts of Brooklyn or just NYC in general.
We thank you for your service
I grew up in bushwick and left about 15yrs ago when it was starting to change. I went back recently and looked like lower Manhattan now
This is funny, I used to live in Bushwick. You ain’t lying
Oh this is a documentary for real
Dope
This is dope. I'd watch more
Keep up the good work
Hahahahahahahaha
#1. I'm white from middle village grew up in Ridgewood. They goto Bushwick because
#1 they're not real true blue New Yorkers with the New York accent
#2 the can't afford to rent in Manhattan so they do everything and anything in their power to make it look like the Lower East Side
#3 it's pathetic and I'll never know how they got all those poor people out.
Jew landlords had to resort to some ugly shit. Sure as heck weren't the Romanian landlords of Bushwick who threw poor people out in search of the almighty dollar.
And I'll say this to anyone's face even Jewish people. When you're wrong you're wrong. Period end of story
Don’t forget Chinese landlords how they got me out they burned the building with us in it rigged it for an electrical fire in the basement
