    Kerry Getz mentioned the 9/11 thing in his Jenkem interview too. Why did the Twin Towers attacks affect board sales? I don't get it.

      +djmon1987 From my understanding People weren't spending as much money and international sales tanked. I guess other countries just werent buying american brands anymore.

    This will sound weird but for some reason I've never put Wenning in my top 10 favorite skaters yet his skating was some of the most influential to me looking back. I love skating fun boxes/ledges more than anything and it's probably because of watching Wennings part in the DC video. Dude was so sick.

    He said people in Cali didn't know switch push... for fucks sake, I had that going back in the early 90s I believe. If I can remember right. I think it was a kick flip then did a switch push off to switch manual on a planter to drop. His parts always bring back memories that got me back into it early 2000s, though. Good shit.

      +slouch potatoe Samr here. Started skating in 04 and remember watching BWs part in the DC video religiously. That and mosaic is ingrained in my mind

    • @juvedoo99
      @juvedoo99 8 лет назад

      +slouch potatoe I doubt it too. That golden era of the late 90s early 00s is just one of a kind. Sadly, RUclips and the internet destroyed video making for skating. Didn't the workshop collapse?

    • @JanoyCresva
      @JanoyCresva 8 лет назад +1

      Well i started skating in 2000 and these were really all the videos we had. I always thought Wenning was a little overrated but i was a huge shortys head. After watching fulfill the dream so many times it was really hard to compare anything to that crew. To us Brian was always a stylish skater that was too lazy. Then hearing the Garcia Bobshirt interview it makes sense when he talks about Danny begging him for cash for pills.
