One of my best memories - in that field, on a perfect summer evening, watching these guys. They have since said it's one of their favourite shows, so we kind of shared a great moment in our lives, which makes it all the more special.

My dad went to UGA in the 80’s and saw these guys play for free at a field on campus. He had no idea that in just a year or so they’d be the biggest band in the world

Best live singer- Michael Stipe- of all time, consistently.. Hes the GOAT. Seen a ton of R.E.M. and This video was a perfect display of how on point R.E.M. is at replicating each song.. Michael is emaciated here, sweating and looks uneasy.. Which is RARE AF for him!!!Somehow though, Michael nails this song haha hes got powers and possibly sorcery haha For real, These 3 are unsung heroes.. and he hung it up before he could embarass himself. It was time to quit sadly after 2 decades, Stipe became sad while singing towards the end of his Career.
Ill always have the utmost respect and gratitude towards R.E.M.
