The only Sigs i trust 100 percent are the 226 and the 229.
my Sig is an absolute gem. The craftsmanship and reliability of these pistols are unmatched. I wouldn't part with mine for anything.
Ty for sharing this Crucial news of yours
If you have a P226 don't sell it and the P229 are awesome.
I wore this as a duty gun for 20 yrs. P226. It took care of me I took care of it…
The first pistol I ever bought was a Sig P229r in 9mm, and I still have it to this day. Honestly, I don't think I'd ever sell it. Great gun.
The P226 Legion was the best shooting 9mm I've ever shot. It just feels like it soaked up all the recoil!
I' ll take the M17....if it's good enough for Army, it's good enough for me.😅😅🎉.....HEY,,,,what the HELL is going on??? I can't post a comment except as REPLY!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬😡
I absolutely love my new 226 x five legion! I highly recommend it if you like the 226
@@ramos1382 second this
P226 papa here and she's never leaving. Literally my favorite of them all
Yup. My 226 Legion SAO is amazing. Best trigger of any non 1911 style I've shot.
@@RikkiTikkiTavi290 the glass break is ever present after the SRT was added in my application. Love it so much
I bought an XMacro. Went to the range and on my second mag it failed to fire! Two gunsmiths couldn’t fix it. Sent it to Sig and they sent me a new one. Not one issue since. I have since upgraded every single part inside and out. Phenomenal piece!!
P226 Legion SAO optics ready for me. Takes getting used to but the trigger is the best I've felt short of 1911 style triggers and it is unbelievably accurate and reliable. I've had multiple 320s and it blows them all out of the water.
i am about to trade in my p229 legion for a axg pro - this one felt very similar to a p226 to me and is or
I have three Sigs. P365, P227 (no longer available .45 auto) and a 1911 compact (also no longer available .45 auto). IF I owned a P220 in 10mm- that’s the one I’d keep. However, of my current collection, I’d keep the P227.
My P220 was made in West Germany, so I will never sell it.
So was my p226! 2-tone stainless. Not a good functioning gun. Very disappointed. Sold it.
I have owned at least 5 models of Sig's over the past 20 years and am a Sig guy (mad love for other brands I own as well). Overall best Sig EDC is my P365 XL. For carry or if I was using a Sig for duty like level 3 security or LEO, I would definitely use my P320. I like the original grip but do fancy the X Compact / X Carry style for appearance and grip angle as well.
I will never sell my P226 made in Germany. This is one of the absolute best handguns ever made.
I love my 229, its absolutely my favorite of any gun I've shot. Its a 1995 model no rust no problems. Its heavier to carry but you know its gonna work. Enjoyed watching as usal 👍👍and I agree with Ms. Hegshot never sell the 229😅
I have a P320 45 compact, and even though it’s low capacity of 9 rounds isn’t ideal, it is the gun I’m most proficient with and I’d really have a hard time letting it go
Interesting video. I've had the P365 and P365XL for years now as my two goto pistols (365 for concealed carry, 365XL (with threaded barrel) for bedside/home defense/open carry). I just ordered the 365 X-Macro conversion kit from SIG and plan on putting the XL slide on the XMacro grip module for home defense/bedside while running the XMacro Compensated Slide on the XL grip module for EDC. Hopefully the XMacro Compensated Slide helps with the shootability of the shorter barrel while getting the upgrade to 12 rd capacity for EDC. Seems like a lot of channels reviews/comparrisons of the P365 line of pistols basically put the XMacro Slide + XL Grip and FCU as the perfect EDC combination.
Like my two Sigs. My EDC is P365XL. Limited to ten rounds here in Ct. converted my 320 Compact to .40S&W three years ago when 9mm was hard to get. Both very concealable.
I only have one Sig, a P365. I’m not planning on getting rid of it any time soon. In a hypothetical situation, I would probably keep a P226 if I had one - vanity would prescribe it to be a DA/SA Legion in 9mm). The P226 is a rock in its own right, there are probably more magazines and parts for the 226 to be found in these United States than any other Sig with a close second being the 9mm P228.
I see your reasoning.I would have to put a X grip module on it.
Well this is going to be easy for me.. Three weeks ago I purchased a new P220 Legion 10mm SAO, two range trips and I'll never sell it, so I guess I'd have to sell my P938 Legion but I just lost it in a snowmobile accident.. 😂
Great informative video brother 💯
Thanks brother
Love the P226 and P220 series of Sigs. My only complaint with the P365 series is the small trigger guard. Doesn’t work very well if wearing gloves.
My favorite 45 caliber is the p220. I wouldn't sell any of them if I own it. I'll buy more sigs if I can afford it lol. Aloha
226 Legion optics ready DA/SA version. No contest. Striker fired then the p365 xl for versatility plus you can macro it if you prefer
Thanks for the video, nice collection. I have 3 320 custom works, 365s and 365xls --I cant sell any of them. been selling a few of my glock 19s lately... I just shoot the 365 series so much better.
I owm a few Sigs myself and I have to say my Sig P320 DH3 is the best handgun I ever owned or shot. I have been shooting pistols since I was in the Marine Corps and also over 25 years as a LEO. with that said I also own a Sig P320 Spectre comp and once I put a DPM spring kit in it, it is a close 2nd to my DH3. I will have an P320 X5 Legion soon and looking to get a P365 AXG Legion. Nice video but I think my choices would be just a bit different.
Great vid.. for me the 229 legoin with optic ready slide is the one pistol i always turn to even thouth i like my equally setup 226 better to shoot and my comped icarus frame 365 is easier to carry. That 229 just seems to be what i reach for. And that goes for every other brand i own. Its just the "one"
I have the 9mm Tac Ops and it is a great gun and the one i would take into the SHTF scenario but both wife and I carry the 365Xl's appendix carry daily. Really trust them. Thanks for the video, Scott
Thanks man
Last Sig I would sell is my Sig P320 DH3, West German stainless P220 (45) and of course my Sig P226 Optic ready 9mm. I have so many Sig’s I love I would sell my Glocks, CZ’s and even HK’s before selling any Sig’s I own. Sorry just can’t do it 😂😂✌🏾
I have a Sig p239, I've never shot the thing since I got it in 2007.There was a problem getting one in 357Sig back then. While I was waiting for it, I got my Glock 32c and haven't looked back. I don't think I'll ever sell the 239, but it's an option.
You could buy the xl grip module for the spectra comp. Problem solved. I personally love the axg pro over the legion. My xl is sporting a macro grip module. Weighed the option of seeping it and buy the x tac ops. But already owned the xl so I bought mags and module for less.
How bout a LAST carry/home defense tool u would sell? Always thankful for getting ur advise an love the channel 🤙🇺🇲
Lol unless I'm a douche canoe an its already been done 😆 Really appreciate ur work as non LEO/MIL civilian
Thanks man. I'm taking notes on all requests
Put the X compact grip module on it and you would really fall in love way better ergo's kinda like the x 5
First time watching this guy's videos...
Dude has all the check marks:

I'm sure the operator Oakley shades are there somewhere!
Well...the only SIG I own is my P228 which was my plainclothes duty handgun for 19 years (until I retired)...it's not for sale.
The Sig I can't part with is my *Sig DH3 Custom Works 21 round 9mm.* It's the ultimate racing/competition pistol. Its performance (to me) is neck n' neck with the Staccato, but at half the price.
This is the one Sig P320 version I wondered how it stacks up to the others he has shot. I own a axg legion and dh3. I am trying to convince myself why I need a p320 spectre comp too lol
@xxjoker19xx
I also have the Spectre Comp, which is a nice shoot; It had a stove topping issue that was solved when I switched the 115 grade ammo with a 124 grade ammo. The DH3, though, is still my preference due to its slightly smoother trigger.
Just came across this video, so please forgive my late response. I have 3 different models of Sig, 1) the Sig P229r in 9mm and I would only sell that under extreme conditions because of how reliable it has been for me, and it was not just the first Sig I have ever bought, but also the first pistol I have ever bought. 2) The Sig P320 Spectre Comp, now I was very disappointed with this Sig the first time I took it to the range because it was having issues with failure to eject and feed, luckily I'll be testing it out again shortly to see if I can fix the problem before sending it off to Sig. Finally 3) The P365 AXG Legion which I just bought this past weekend. The price is a bit expensive, but I might take it to the range for it's first test and see how it performs tomorrow morning. Love the video.
Thanks, Howie~
I enjoyed this video but I come from a whole different perspective on Sigs. At one time I owned 7 variations of the 320 but after awhile I realized that I was fascinated with the modularity not with shooting the gun. All of my 320s and everything associated with this model are long gone. Being an old guy I have a bias that I fully admit and that is that I do not like polymer framed, striker fired handguns. I have owned Glocks, S&Ws and several other brands of striker fired models but now own none. All 30 of the handguns I have collected, Berettas, CZs, Dan Wessons and Sigs are hammer fired. My current Sigs are a 210, 220 and customized versions of the P6, 226 and 229. The only one that I might consider selling is the 220 since I have a nice Dan Wesson 1911 in 45. In spite of my bias against the Sig striker fired guns, your review was excellent. Keep them coming.
Sig Fan here, I couldn’t get rid of any of my Sigs. But for the sake of this exercise … the last Sigs to go would be the x macro (comp) and my P 210 carry. I conceal my macro but will not appendix my 320 spectre carry. U have no issue appendix carrying your 320?
I only have one sig, p365xl. I wouldn't sell it, but it is a little small for my hand. Works for conceal carry. It works great. But, I would be interested in purchasing a larger sized 9 mil. I don't like the trigger. I'd like a compensator and/and adaptor for a silencer. I'd like the silencer more.
Took my 320 spec comp out for the fist time today. It tracks very well..
You gonna make that comparison video with the x macros? I’m still debating on which one I’ll get.
I have xmacro comp and p320 spectre comp, i love the shit outa my 320 but im actually considered selling the 365 bcus the front to back length of the grip isnt long enough for my hands, the thinness and capacity is perfect tho. Im going to give it a little more time but if i do sell it, im picking up a 320 axg legion 😅.. i love the look and feel of that gun so much
ive been scared to replace my glock19 with sig320 due to history of neg discharge, has that issed been 100% fixed?
P320 X-Ten full size 10mm , O-Light Baldr S w/green laser. I just bought this and just love the way it feels and shoots. 850 for the hand gun only but what you get is not bad in my opinion
A little surprised by a couple of choices (320 SC over 320 AXG Legion and 365 SC over 365 xMacro), but I'm not too surprised by the final choice. It's a nice all around happy medium. That said, don't see too many pre-upgrade 320's out there anymore.
I would choose a P226 or P229 over almost any pistol if I could only keep one pistol. Only pistols I’d keep over a P226 would be a CZ P-01, Beretta 92G, or maybe a Glock 19, despite the fact I hate shooting Glocks (they’re just so reliable).
In your opinion. What is a similar pistol. I like the feel of the sig in my hand but never shot one.
I would choose the P22x over the P320 any day. The 320 is ok, but the 22x has been time tested and has the pedigree and track record that very few pistols ever achieve. There are only a few off of the top of my head are even notable. 1911, 226, CZ 75, Browing High Power, Beretta 92, HK USP, and the Glock 17. To be fair though, I go for duty grade handguns, so I don't care for small guns and I want. I think the P320 will eventually make that list and it is well on it's way to do so, but it just needs the time behind it. I'm not saying the 320 is bad either, I prefer it over Glock, but the 320 as the last SIG to own when you have a fantastic time tested P229 there... I would take the P229 10 / 10 times.
Interesting take on a lot of Sigs!
To help protect finish on slides, steel frames, and mags, check out this stuff.
Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish
I'd get rig of all them except one just because. My 226 Navy is it, the rest can go.
I can't trust the P320 until the change the trigger to something like Glock's trigger. Don't need it firing on it's own because of the holster or something else..
That's been fixed already, research
Use it as a range gun and see how much you like it or not before carrying it, you can buy one and only use it for the range you know
@@modus_operandi2508 How did they fix it? The last one I was was I think at a Police station in Ohio, where it went off. Sig blamed it on the holster based on the video. Are you saying that's a fix? They didn't even look at the actual gun or holster. Only a video of the incident.
I have an older P226 and an optics ready P229 Legion. No striker fire Sig pistols compare, IMO.
P320 Spectre Comp is my laser beam. I traded my Carry model and a few other common strikers for it and I don’t regret it. As a taller guy I plan to also pick up an XMacro for summer carry.
Love my P320 X Compact.
You should really get a p226. I have shot multiple handguns and this one is accurate and as solid as it gets.
Outta all these years it’s still the p320C and hegshot is the reason I went and bought my first sig p320c and I fell in love with it ever since
Thanks man
FINALLY .....the M17 gets my nod. The Army chose it, so it's gotta be pretty good.😮😁
Legion P220 sao 45 acp I love it would never sell it.Thanks for your vid for what it's worth I am a sig fan boy.
Why not get the voluntary trigger upgrade for the 320?
First, your favourite p320 subcompact looks pre-upgraded. Seems like you should send it to upgrade.
In my opinion, since you can switch the frames on p320, buying the XCarry would be most recommended. It’s a nice shooter in average, you can put on the AXG frame for better performance on the range, and you can switch it for Xcompact frame for lighter carry option.
It’s the P320 AXG Scorpion for me. Put any optic on and run it.
For me it’s probably either of my W. German P228s. Maybe my X5 All-Around.
The p225 is good because it is a single stack.
Um im rolling with a P226 Extreme w/ a pro cut slide and romeo X... love it...
Went to bass pro to get a specter comp and they didn’t even sell it lol (I get 0% interest for a year on items over 500.00 there) … tried to sell me on a lot of other things when they saw I had money to burn though… still want that spec comp!
Keeping my OG p365. Also miss my p226 legion.
Lol…
”P365 XMacro is too big for IWB.”
I only own Sig optics and I run some Sig ammo through certain guns but if I had 2 Sigs I’d never sell I’d have a P320 in Equinox or a P226 Legion that would be 2 safe queens in the collection if I was rich 😂
Anyone know if the irons on the xmacro will cowittness with red dots?
It’s a toss up for me between the M18 and the X5 Legion.
As a Sig fan, I'm surprised you didn't have a few 226s
I have P320 Compact. Its never leaving!!
The xmacro is the only one I have. But I am having trouble concealing it on my body so I'm thinking it's time to check out something else.
Just buy an xl grip module and now you have a p356 xl/specter comp. That’s the beauty of the p365/p320 platform, they’re modular and you can change your configuration super easily.
The $300ish P6 is going for $1099 here in California in “well loved” condition.
I would have kept the tacops 17 round, magwell, bigger controls, night sights, optics ready and comes with 4 mags. No comp but longer barrel, no brainer for me.
I just shot my 365 AXG Legion for the second time, under 250 rounds and the mag release just broke and fell out. Very disappointing. Had to send in to sig
Not to be disrespectful, but how big are you? I am looking at XMacro rn and want to know how we compare. 6'3", 280. Hoping there is a big difference 🤣🤞
P229 Legion with a red dot...never selling it.
12:35... that gun has not had the upgrade done. That's the old trigger shoe.
My CCW is the X-macro Comp...For reference: I'm 5'7" 168lbs, 32" waist.
Love my Xmacro comp.
Considering what you’re buying. I wouldn’t cut any corners! Get what you want. Buy once, cry once keep it forever! I’m not looking to save $200-$300 for something I’ll have forever
I’m just not!
i want waiting for him to pull out p365 axg legion, but then i saw the year of the video
Just picked up a P320 XFive and a 365x I really want to snag a MK25 P226 so bad
I‘d be hard pressed to part with my OG P229 in .40 S&W.
I'm looking at the P226 Xfive Legion.
Before I watch the video... I'm guessing it's the Spectre Comp.
And... I was wrong.
I only have 1 Sig. The P238. I love it. 🎯🔫
I would never sell my P227 or the rarely seen German made P245
Didn’t they start going “off” by themselves??
They fixed that
How late are you…they fixed that a long ass time ago
I love the idea of the 365xl Spectre Comp, but I can't get behind a 3" barrel. For compensating recoil you lose a lot of muzzle velocity. If it had a 4" - 4.5" barrel then it would be perfect IMO.
Sig is not what I would choose at all
If I owned a P226 it would be the last SIG I would ever sell. In fact I wouldn't sell it at all. If its a striker pistol I won't own one without a manual safety because carrying a light sloppy single action trigger is the same thing as carrying a 1911 cocked and not locked and a trigger will snag on something when you least expect it. Its not a question of if but when because we are human and do make mistakes. Not even Jeff Cooper recommended carrying in condition zero.
Sig makes the sexiest handguns.
Sig will refinish your gun at the factory for a price
Why would anyone do that? Sig finishes are doodoo. I would either have it done by a 3rd party or get a custom cerakote job which is what I did and it looks great and holds up excellent.
@@whatsup24_7 The early legion finishes were DLC and they were junk, because Sig outsourced them, I believe the current finishes are Ceracote and I’ve done in the house it’s about maintaining The value of the gun, even though I would never spend the money on one of these legions because I think the elite is a better gun
It’s a tough one….probably my German made p210.
Got Sig?😂
I love all of my Sig’s. I am not parting with any of my Sig’s.
Its also the most disrespected
The SIG P365 AXG Legion
A lot of Sig guns are awesome but the p320 was a fail and not because of the so called going off on it on its other reasons
