Arduino Obstacle Avoiding Robot Car | DIY

  • In this video we are going to learn how to make obstacle avoiding robot car using Arduino Uno.
    We will use Ultrasonic sensor to read the distance from object and Servo motor to control the direction of ultrasonic sensor.
    We will control dc gear motors speed and direction using cheap L298N motor motor driver module.
    I have explained in details each step along with code.
    Its real fun to watch car making adjustment on its own !!!

      You can use 2 wheels as well . But you will have to adjust speed and delay in code if needed 👍🏻👏🏻

    this is terrific, thanks for sharing this. I've gone through the wiring several times, but can't get the car to move. the servo turns, and the hyopersonic sensor works, but the motors move a bit forward, and a bit backward. It seems as if the hypersonic sensor makes it react to move a bit. Is there something that we should change in the code or just upload it straight forward? thanks in advance, fine ser!

      Just upload it straight forward . And make sure you use only rechargeable battery to avoid any issue 👍🏻 . don’t worry it will work as it worked for me 👏🏻

      Thanks for checking out video 👍🏻. I have never used L293D driver. So can’t comment what problem you facing with this driver. This project uses L298N driver so I can help you with any issue with this module .

      I tried using L293D before too. The servo did not work but other components could work properly. It’s because of the supplied voltage is not enough for servo. You probably need to supplied the additional voltage on servo. That should work.

      It is LiPo battery . Its little costly . You can use other rechargeable battery like LiOn cells . 👍🏻👏🏻

      You need to install NewPing library from Arduino IDE library manager . 👍🏻👏🏻

      It’s very easy and don’t think it needs a complete tutorial on it . Just solder 2 wires to motors as regular soldering. Give it a try 👍🏻

      Thanks for checking out the video 👍 This is 1:48 gear ratio motor and has speed about 150-200 rpm.
