He streams too so thats not suprising, maybe he just missed out on some sleep. Its good to let creators know they can take a break, but making assumptions tends not to be a good idea.

It's p good but "Lost Cause" is still my fave. It's such a vibe from start to finish despite being thematically all over the place, it just feels good to listen to ya know? I do like tracks like this but I hope the upcoming album has a blend.
I don't think they are doing an album, rather just releasing singles for a while.

But with that being said, I LOVE all of them A LOT!!!! Had never heard of this band before I saw someone react to them, now I'm going back and discovering a lot of their older stuff I love as well. I am a big fan of catchy choruses and super fun riffs (I absolutely love the riff in Terrorist), and Novelists FR are amazing at both of those things.
Pizza isn't what I was thinking about during the buildup to the breakdown but I guess Nik and I are two different people

Nik, I know you said this isn’t your favorite Novelists track, it isn’t mine either. This video made me revisit Souvenirs and the passion in those recordings is front and center. I’m also the guy who asked you to cover a poison the well song who were also a pure passion band. It’s hard to get into this new material when the old set an unreachable bar in my opinion

My only problem with these new tracks are the choruses 🤷 either the chorus itself or getting from the verse into it. They’re all good songs though

Novelists feels like BMTH if they never had left the core scene.
I mean they kind of didn't. They still played core songs live and the last EP was like half core. They had 1 experimental album and people won't let em live it down lol

Novelists and BMTH have done what bands have been trying t do for a few years now, which is mixing electronic/hiphop sounds with metal in a natural sounding way. Diamond Construct did it and it felt clunky, and a ton of others tried before, but none have beat these two
