The owner couldn’t be more happy with the car and is very impressed with how good the power feels. “It feels like a whole new car” the guys over at CKP TUNING killed it with getting this new setup done and then also tuning it. We highly recommend them for any of our locals in Charlotte or anybody from a fair distance away that wants someone they can trust to work on or get their car tuned with. The car was previously all motor with the same setup it has now minus the supercharger of course and it was fast but now it’s very fast. I love it myself due to me being able to witness the progress
it’s made in the past year and half going from a K24A4 with a stock TSX head to a K24/K20 with a stock K20 head to now a built head and Rotrex supercharger. Definitely don’t think it’ll stop here I will make sure to keep bringing in more footage of this car as well as many other fast cars to the channel just make sure to subscribe and stay tuned. As someone debating to do the c38-91 kit I love seeing these success videos.. Hard to want to go turbo over the responsiveness of the supercharged system
Yes with turbos you get a sudden kick of power and just overall fun but the cool thing about these Kraftwerks like you said is the instant response and the fact they are overall more reliable then a turbo. Only con is kit prices but In my opinion I think they’re worth the money.

the kit on this car was used and abused for 2 years on a K20 hatch then was installed in the integra from this video and still lives on today almost 4 years later without any damage..

The torque curves on centrifugal K's are nasty. They just keep pulling all the way to redline.

Oh yeah boost is there as soon as the foot touches the pedal due to it being belt driven. It’s an instant 16 pounds with lots of wheel spin right away!

Lol indeed things like this are rare in Charlotte and that’s exactly why I love to film them so people can see them and enjoy them but this was at CKP tuning last night!

@@NoComp600 great video man, what type of engine block are you using the K24a2 as well full stock bottom end and what type of head are you using is it the K20z1 or K20a2 or the K20A DC5 type R head? what type of transmission are you running with the Kraftwerks superCharge? What's the code tranny are you running is it the 5 speed or 6 speed tranny? I'm looking to engine swap my eg hatch with a K series but go straight to supercharge by Kraftwerks.. . give us some exclusive set up details that you did to your integra show us the goodies under the hood on a video :D love it man that teggy is a beast :D

Lol nope just added a great tuner and a healthy block. K series are known for being reputable to this high of a power standard when treated well.

In my opinion l think the 24 block is worth it. The torque and power is unbeatable compared to the 20 block.
can i do this to an rsx k20/24 with sc ? or is only kswaps ?
(With proper installation) this can be done to any K series car
compare to the frank build and a full k20 , how much less power do you think ill make ?
@@ion2763 a K20 can make the same horsepower or more depending on the amount of boost you throw at it, torque numbers will be different though. Due to the bigger displacement of the 2.4 it’s an obvious scenario that it’ll always make more torque than a lower displacement 2.0. On this exact application, a K20 would make maybe 20-25 less foot pounds of torque. The power curve and dyno graph will also show that boost and low down torque will be higher and better in a K24 from 2,000-4,500rpm compared to a K20. the beauty of it also is that you can install the same oil pump a K20a2 has on a K24a2 and it’ll rev out to 9,000rpm no problem like this car in the video did. ( K20Z3 oil pumps rev to 9k but the bad thing is that they have balance shafts like the stock K24a2 oil pump , but luckily you can also install the K20a2 oil pump on a K20Z3 which will provide higher oil pressure and give your motor less stress when it comes to rotational mass from the additional 5 pounds less that you’ll shave off with the k20a2 oil pump since the stock oil pump is heavier ).

Would you guy be able help on me out my kswap i bought a k20a base with a k20z3 head and put it in with a base map on hondata turned it on and it was running awful the headers started getting red within like a minute 😦

2 questions- is this setup still going strong? I can't find a reason to order a short block A2 anywhere and it's almost the same as buying the whole long block. Am I wrong or should I just stick to buying the whole long block for a A2 k20 head setup? I'm looking at doing to same kraftwerks kit.
Yeah the car is still running super strong the owner beats on it a lot and it handles it easily. And it just depends what you want if you want the torque from the K24 then do a K24/K20 but if you want it to handle more power ( because K20’s handle much more power on a stock block on boost) then go full K20. Either route is a good route though you’ll still make great power on both and even if you’re making 380hp you’ll still win lots of races

I want to do a similar build with my k20z1 (06 rsx type-s) head and k24a2 block from an (06 tsx) can anyone chime in on what cams to use? Tsx cams? Or k20z1 cams? DIC cams?
Z1 and 06 TSX Cams are very similar either one you choose will give you pretty much the same power numbers I’d say. If you wanna go the extra mile with OEM cams I’d use the 2008 TSX cams as they are slightly different. This build used a k20a2 head with 06 TSX cams and obviously the 50* vtc RBC cam gear.
