The writer of Hebrews is saying-“look, you are saved through Christ’s once and final sacrifice, why are you going back to sacrificing animals? This is wrong. You are ALREADY saved and you are making a mockery of the Gospel by this evil behavior. God will judge you for this! Do you not know you are already saved?? These evil works will be destroyed and you will be chastised.

It's pretty important to note that Hebrews was written to the Jews. Not that it's not for Gentiles as well, but the audience to whom it's speaking are the ones who sacrifice animals for their sins.

As a Christian I have come up with a ruleset to dismiss these wolves in sheep clothing
Rule 1. Saved = have passed from death unto eternal life(John5.24)
Rule 2. Sealed with the Holy Ghost so that by soul has been separated from my body of sin and death so however much my flesh sins it won’t affect my eternal soul as it is sealed with the Holy Ghost (Ephesians1.13-14) (Colossians2.11-14)
Finally there’s a formula we can all use
If Christ died for x sin and I commit x sin then am I now not saved?
If no then are you saying Christ didn’t die for all sins
The only sin that is unforgivable is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost and I take that sin to mean you don’t truly trust in the finished work of Christ to pay your sin debt in full and you’ve somehow accepted in your mind that God needs you to finish his work for him, so in essence you’ve made God weaker than you and you’ve placed yourself above God to grant yourself into his kingdom by your own actions rather than trusting in what he’s done for you

The men in the video, if they have ever trusted in Christ alone and were saved, by going back to trusting in their owns works, rituals and/or faithfulness are the exact group the book of Hebrews is talking about.

@patricj951 You're welcome to cross out lots of words in your Bible and write in the original languages. Heaven into Parádeisos. Sure, go for it. Hell is the translated word for English. The translators would not be doing their job if they didn't translate the word and left it Sheol, Tartarus, ect.

They totally dismiss the whole of Hebrews. Hebrews 10 was actually the kicker for me when I was first starting to understand osas. It literally uses osas language over and over and the willful sin is bot just any sin but the rejection of the knowledge of the saving message by the Hebrews and going to WORKS salvation i.e. the Law!

Also, they are obsessed with the doctrine of predestination and "the elect." I don't think they're generally lost, though.

They look to works as evidence of salvation. They are trusting in themselves(works) for salvation and Matthew 7:21-23 KJV will be their fate. Arminianism teaches that a believer can lose their salvation therefore they are calling God a liar. Both wicked as hell.

Praise be to God for plucking me out of that darkness. i would try to repent of all my sins, but it dawned on me that i didnt have the ability to forgive my own mother.. which would send me to hell for sure!!! but after God allowed me to understand his bountiful grace he actually supernaturally healed my soul of that affliction over time. For those who trust in themselves instead of what Jesus did for us aka paid our sin debt so that by his death we shall live please explain:
1. You fail in one part of the law you fail in the whole law (James2:10)
2. By the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified (Romans3:20)(Galatians2:16)
3. The carnal mind is enmity against God, they that are in the flesh cannot please God meaning they that are all about themselves and what they need to do instead of trusting in Christ and the Holy Spirit that dwells within us after accepting the sacrifice of Christ (ephesians1:13-14)

Perfected FOREVER, by that one offering for sin. The context of Hebrews 10:26-29 Is about people who have heard the gospel message, and REJECTED that message.

I always thought he said that those who gained the KNOWLEDGE of the truth and then went on sinning were people that were unsaved and were rejecting the truth.
It’s so crazy how they apply the majority of the Bible to 2024. It was clearly for that generation in the first century. The main point of it all was to hold fast till the new covenant was made manifest, and not go back to that sacrificial system.Which the Holy Spirit Indicates could not happen while that temple and that system still stood. That’s why Jesus had to come back a second time apart from sin in the glory of the father (Matt. 16:27-28) to destroy that system and that temple. He did it just like the father always did it in his cloud judgments, with the nations and armies, and the Roman army was made up of several nations and they did surround that city. In my mind the point we are at now is the end of revelation where the spirit and the bride say come. ✌️

They don't even get that not all disciples of Jesus were saved. John 6:66. Not saying everyone in that crowd was unsaved, but He also fed 5 and 4 thousand and they just were after the miracles, there were disciples among them too...doesn't mean they believed.

They keep saying these are real warnings to real Christian's. I also notice how they keep saying "they." Nothing can pluck them out of His hands. They never say us.
I don’t really think they’re contradicting themselves or saying too much wrong. What they’re stating is that Christians who once believed can become apostates and no longer want anything to do with God and no longer believe in Christ any more therefore living the ways they were before they were saved in sin. Only those who believe will be saved so God is not bullying people who once were saved but become apostates into the free gift of salvation. Haven’t watched the documentary yet but from these clips that what I get.

Heb.9:8 the way into the holiest was not made manifest while the temple still stood. So they held their faith waiting for that. Knowing the way into heaven and presence of God with man would be made possible after Jesus 2nd coming to destroy that temple system.
There seems to be a major movement of "returning" to the Jewish roots, which looks an awful lot like backsliding into judaizing legalism. Where the gospel of the grace age church of the mystery and the one body with Christ as head, not king or groom, the revelation of truth given to the apostle Paul by the risen glorified ascended savior himself is being turned away from and denied, and the old covenant promises of the gospel of the kingdom is being preached and taught in its place. In that kingdom age dispensation and gospel there is the promise of salvation by faith in Christ but it's fulfillment awaits the joining into one of bride and groom in the glory of the heavenly house and temple, for the called out chosen elect of new covenant Israel, but not including the gentile converts and disciples of Christ. This is doctrinal heresy that rebuilds the wall of separation, and discriminates between Jew and Gentile saved in Christ by faith believers. It is the same, zealous for the old covenant law, dissimulation that Paul rebukes Peter for in the book of acts and that he refutes as doctrinal error and heresy in the Epistle of Galatians, where it is made crystal clear there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond nor free, male nor female but all are now and forever joined into ONE new man in the body of Christ. Hence are not waiting for the joining of bride and groom for their salvation but are already joined into one and already have been saved, but are waiting for the coming revelation of the perfection, glorification, transfiguration and redemption of the temporary fleshly corrupt house, vessel, and garment, that the spiritual new creation of God is for a time and season, indwelt, inhabited, hidden, obscured and veiled by. No doubt God is also preparing to revive, restore and reestablish the kingdom gospel, covenant and age to new covenant Israel, and no doubt there is much hidden in the torah and old testament prophets regarding the second coming and the day of the Lord, and the spiritual symbolism and meaning of the Jewish feasts and fasts, the Sabbath day, the governing and ordering principles of the sovereign government and holy laws of God. All the temporal earthly shadows and types of heavenly spiritual and eternal things in the old testament, however we must recognize that those writings are NOT specifically addressed to this church no matter how much preferential bias and prejudicial favoritism we want to show toward things Jewish over truth given to God's apostle Paul and all the people who have been called to faith and salvation in Jesus Christ and (yes the name in Greek of Jesus is the same as Yeshua there is no difference at all with respect to whosoever will call upon the name in the eyes of God,)of gentile background.

Luke 21:22 they were in those days. What was all that was written? The Old Testament. What was in the Old Testament? Resurrection, new creation, new heaven and earth, 2nd coming of Christ in that generation. How can we be honest with the text and yet stretch his coming in some yet future tense? Thousands of years have went by and all of a sudden the scripture just has to be talking about our generation???? That doesn’t even make good nonsense. It was that first century generation of believers not us. The Bible was written for us but not to us. To say different I think is just an untenable position. I say this because I used to think that until I finally started reading for myself. And believing the words of Jesus. It’s amazing how much sense the Bible makes now without twisting the words and injecting the news headlines INTO scripture rather than letting scripture dictate my system. Anyway God bless.
According to the book of romans, all that are justified will be glorified. You can't be justified and lost the next. These folks are nothing more than modern day Judiazers who have no spiritual discernment.

I guess the real question is this; what death is Paul talking about? Physical or spiritual? Can you answer that for me?

I will attempt to break it down in regard to it's verbs..from the original Greek text...The vs. says ,Believe on the lord Jesus Christ ,and thou shalt be saved....Believe is the main verb...it is a aorist active ,imperative of the greek verb Pistos ,to believe. The aorist tense is a point of time that you believe. This is a special aorist tense that takes this point of time and perpetuates it into infinity..The active voice ,the subject ,produces the action of the verb,you believe. The imperative mood is a command. Saved is sozo, a future passive participle .A participle is an auxiliary verb that supports the main verb..The future tense show a action that takes place when you believe The passive voice unlike the active voice ,says the subject (the one believing in Christ)receives the action of the verb rather than producing this action...In this case he receives salvation. So based on the original text The vs.is more accurately translated. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and at that moment ,you are saved for ever and ever..

It is very simple by rightly deviding Gods word and so Hebrews is written mostly to Hebrews and they are Jews but some scripture can also apply to us christians cause it is written by Paul who went away from jew to christian. And so these verses that seem to look like you can lose salvation is for jews in the great tribulation then osas is gone and you can lose salvation if you do not fear God and you cannot take the mark nor deny Jesus.

The thing I have a problem with once saved always saved, is that we don’t know that as a fact 100% sure. Wouldn’t it be smart to just ask for forgiveness if we sin instead of just thinking that the first time we came to God covered that? Very good question, I've had those exact same thoughts. But I wouldn't say that it's a choice between continuing to ask for forgiveness and not to. We should continue asking for forgiveness, or to confess, our sins, but not to maintain our salvation, but to keep a close relationship ship with God, and because sin makes us feel miserable and it destroys our relationship with God.
