My little brother started playing with the release of Fontaine. He watched me play before, but he couldn't play because he lacked a good phone. Now he is enjoying the game and even won Hu Tao and Raiden. As an elder brother I bought him a Welkin Moon to celebrate.
I think Genshin improved a lot from the beginning. Now you have more regions, more characters and a longer story.
The only disadvantages are the fact that you won't be able to have as many characters as day 1 players and you will be missing all the event stories. It's quite a shame since I enjoyed the events a lot.
Woah Hu Tao and Raiden both characters I actually wanted to get but lost both 50/50 to them. Though Congratulations!! to your little brother and here hoping that he enjoys his journey of Genshin Impact even more, taking his time of course and enjoying what the game has to offer. Wanting to also say that you're a great brother :) giving him a welkin moon as for celebration
Aaahhhh I want a welkin too 😭. My siblings would never give me one
@@Ricecracker-over-ricecake well go buy one for yourself its cheap asf lmao
@@Violate.. Nah I am not worried about the price. I am just jealous of the brotherly love I am missing.
Good brother energy!
I started playing Genshin at the release of Fontaine, and I totally agree that it is definitely a lot of content to go through and just have fun playing at your own pace. I just got to Inazuma and I’m loving the game so far and have been playing everyday. I’m actually glad that I’m far behind so that I can also lean on other more experienced players commentary on certain quests and character builds that make the game go a lot smoother for a newbie like myself.
of course it is. you can finish the game with what the game gives you with only 4 stars. the story and graphics is just SO worth it
It's also more fun when you play the story without long breaks and without being very op
Without wishes the game is a repetitive grind with boring gameplay and a sub par story. Let’s be honest
@@captnweasleI believe that if you fully indulge yourselves in the lore and try to learn abt the story you will realize that it is really amazing. It is best to not judge the story when it hasn't even finished, granted it will take forever to do so.
@@captnweasle i can partially agree with the grinding part. But with new events and content every patch? I can't agree with you. The main story is amazing so far imo. I've liked it a lot.
@@captnweaslethe only bad about genshin is the grind and farm but otherwise the game is great and fontaine is the best region we got with a crazy archon quest stop saying shi
Interesting thanks. I'm an older gamer and my teenage daughter plays this. I jokingly said over dinner that I might start playing and she was actually very engaged with the idea... so here I am. I might give it shot and if I do, I'll definitely watch your guide videos.
I hope you do! I don’t even play Genshin, was just watching this out of curiosity, but I can say that I would’ve loved to have my parents join me in games when I was younger.
@@CaptainEffort I did! I haven't unlocked mulitplayer yet, but she likes watching/criticising me when I play... :)
"Dad, don't you ever pay attention to what it's telling you" is her most common complaint. lol
Precious 🥹❤️ you’re creating core memories with her!
Try it and your joy will be multiple with your young daughter.
@@LiterallyJustAnActualPotatocan I take your hand in marriage? I think it would be a cool story to say you met your partner in RUclips comments. I am handsome and wealthy I promise.
My biggest fear is missing out on story events that will never get rerun and sadly there some older story events that I have missed, but aside from that the game is still very fun and completely f2p, I started mid december 2023 (you will be very limited in getting 5 star especially for collectors)
Note:
Grinding might be more "expensive" since the resin system (what you use to farm resources to make character stronger from ascending to get more level, level up weapon, level up artifact, get the specific artifact, etc) is very very very limited so don't expect to grind every hour of evey day
Edit:
Was typing this and Shark already spoke about everything here so hahahaha lol
theres plenty of youtubers you can go to to see the limited events that you missed! thats what i do for everything i've missed.
@@impishtwink8144 true, but the experience is just not the same
@@reallythishandleistakensomething is better than nothing
@impishtwink8144 You can't get event staff so. New albedo mains are crying in the corner 😂
@reallythishandleistaken I think they'll probably start adding old events in at some point. I expect their issue relates to file size.
Followed your account progression guide and the game never felt overwhelming. Great game and new players really should pace themselves b/c of the amount of content that's there rather than trying to finish by x date.
I started 7 months ago and I have played maby 400 h and I still have so much content I haven't done. I really got hooked by the combat system so I made it my goal to beat Spiral Abyss, the hardest(and only) combat focused endgame content as early as possible. To achive that I heavily min-maxed my character progression and resource spending/gaining to the point that there was a time where the only way to proggress was to wait and wish for more characters. A more casual player probably won't hit as hard of a wall as I did, but they will still hit a point were progression gets significantly slower. At that point you just have to remember that with time you will get there, be it owned character leveling or getting new ones. Genshin is not a race or even a marathon, but a even longer journey where you can spend as much time as you need to arrive at your destination.
Started last year and have been loving it. There's a ton to do, but as long as you take it in bites you'll be OK.
I started this game 3 months ago and your content helped me get through all of the games content. I'm at end game now just farming artifacts and building characters for abyss. Thankyou for your amazing videos!!!
Im seasoned now but when i started out i watched your beginners guide and it was excellent. Required viewing for newcomers in my opinion
I watched it even after playing Genshin for over a year, and still found it useful. Required viewing for everyone, in my opinion.
I come back to it and copy the link to share it regularly!
Word. Shark's "the only characters you need" guides are my guiding star for who to prioritize in pulling. It's nice to know that of the 60+ characters, you can get by with like 20 of them (built right).
YESSSS
I started playing one year ago (last Raiden banner to be exact). I'm still working through the wrold quests in Sumeru and haven't done much in Fontaine other than the main story quest. The good thing is there is plenty of content, but the downside is you feel like you're trying to get caught up all the time. Yes, I know there is no PvP so there isn't anyone to keep up with, but it still feels bad. And as someone who likes story driven games, I hate that there are years of limited quests that I missed out on. But still fun, and the open world exploration is great.
Been playing on and off since 2021 and Ive got to say the sheer amount of content is absolutely mind blowing. I might stumble upon random quest or accept a seemingly benign world quest and get propelled into a 2 hour long side story. If you’re like me where you deviate from the main story frequently and get lost in the weeds, you will be heavily rewarded. Some of my favorite experiences come from randomly stumbling upon massive side stories I might not have found otherwise. The Fontaine addition is just *chefs kiss*. This game has a great charm too, penny & Ann’s quest lines are great examples of that. Cannot recommend this game enough.
hat's a very comprehensive guide thank you!
You'll never guess, but I was checking out the co-op screen (i never do), and your account was at the top of the list. I noticed it had a twitch tag to it, and checked it out, dropped a follow for when I was online next to see. Then I see this video here! Hoping it's the algo' boosting!
Started to play 3 weeks ago, now AR48.. So far enjoying it very much, probably will continue to play for a long time :)
Only thing I heavily dislike is the resin system. I don't like being forced to play casual by only being allowed to farm for artifacts for 15-30min a day. I get why that system is there and in my opinion having that system is fine for ascension/talent/weapon items. But definitely not for artifact domains. You will never reach absolute perfection so artifact farming is endless, you never will be done so I don't see the point of the limit for that. Going for artifact perfection would be a decent late/end game activity for me, but it's not possible if the daily max is 8 runs..
Conversely, that's why I like the resin system - I just plan my play sessions around how much resin I have. Genshin doesn't feel like a full time job like other games do, I can play at my own pace, take it slow, enjoy all the other content in the game, and never feel burnt out.
How th did you reach ar48 in just 3 weeks? Which characters do you ,have?
@@SodiumWage If you spend too much time on a game without the self discipline to play in moderation, that's not the game's fault for lacking a stamina resource, it's your own fault for being a gaming addict.
@@amaljob5383 Just played a ton and really tried to maximize AR gains because I wanted to hit AR45 asap to get to actually start building characters. Now I take it slower there. 5 star characters I have two atm: Ayaka and recently got Keqing (lost the 50/50 for Raiden there two days ago..).. In total 23 characters incl. traveler, most of them not really leveled/geared yet ofc. At 8-2 in Spiral Abyss rn, currently in the process of slowly building 2 complete geared out teams to progress there..
@@FloFoer94i also started playing seriously when not too long ago
My siblings first started playing the game and later I took over I believe I was around AR 20 when I stopped playing it at time I played for around 4+ hours daily
I stopped playing the game and uninstalled it
I again downloaded it before the Ayaka banner
And in that time (roughly 1 and a half month) I'm now sitting at AR 35 with 65,000+ Adventure XP Idk how much AR I would reach if I did the ascension quest
Started playing into four last days of Wriowesly/Venti banner after seeing my discord friends live streaming enough for me to give in. The warning part was important for me because personally, I would get burn out faster if I tried to pull for every character especially when losing 50/50s. Plus I have to farm their materials and artifacts which takes awhile to get them geared up and will delay refining my current units further.
But luckily for me, I only really like few characters so I am willing to skip few banners. Rn I pulled for C2 Raiden and made her overload hypercarry team. Haven't won my 50/50s so far :( but I did get Tighnari who I want to build actually. Also got Jean from standard banner which is good because after Raiden, I'm just going to save for Furina rerun (lost to Dehya at 8 pity on her first banner but decided to save my guarantee for Raiden).
Overall, I'm still enjoying the game a lot. Really enjoying my Raiden because of that adrenaline feeling when you burst as her! I will say Fontaine is my most enjoyable overworld with its explorations and underwater gimmicks.
I am definitely returning back to this game in the next month or so. I played this game 2-3 weeks after it was released. I Played for 3 days straight while only getting like 10 hrs of total sleep in those 3 days😂😬. That's how hooked up i was on this game cause it was that good for a mobile game. I had to stop playing it because i was playing another game professionally and genshin was interfering with my practice so i stopped playing after i reached Inazuma i guess. Rn i am more of a casual gamer but I'm 100% going to return to this game cause I'm getting a new phone. That's also howi ended up on this video. Thanks for all the info man! 👍
I started in July myself, So still relatively new. I'm caught up on the main story, but still have tons of side content and exploration to work my way through. And that's AFTER 400 hours. But as has been mentioned, there is no competitive aspect and no rush. That's just how I am when I get really into something. There's a LOT of content to work your way through and a large backlog of characters which may seem daunting at first, but because of all that content, you will be drowning in Primos during this catchup promise. I was down to 800 primos after Furina, and then by the start of 4.3, I was up to 33K plus whatever I had in Starglitter and wishes from rewards and nabbed Ayaka and Navia.
Overall I've been loving it with Inazuma being a huge dark spot. Seriously, screw that place. It was absolutely miserable to explore.
The way I look at it... You may not end up liking several things about the game, but even if you're just running around exploring Mondstadt trying some characters and elemental combos you happen to get, that's worth a good bit of free fun for many people imo. It may very well sizzle out anticlimactically, but as long as you're ready for that, just enjoy the journey.
Nowadays I only really log in for some very occasional chill exploration, especially if there's a newbie to join, that's a great opportunity to use characters you don't have geared too.
I only started on Zhongli last banner. I knew some small bits of the game, no clue on its Story, lore or most mechanics. I just knew elements were important and thats it.
I've just met Kokomi on Inazuma, so far I've done all the collectibles like the Element-culos, Agates and Lumen Spars that are possible for me to do currently and most of the side quests I can do.
Been saving primos, only focusing on characters that I enjoy. Wanted to do research before hand, so I've pretty much only focused on Hu Tao, Fischl, Xingqiu and Diona, would do Furina but cant since Fontaine is a long ways ahead for me. Saving for Nahida.
The game sure is a pain in terms of farming at times, just starting the artifact grind... easily the worst part of the game, wouldn't be as bad if resin wasn't a thing. God I hate that mechanic a lot.
Overall though, enjoying it more than I thought kinda went in with a bad attitude towards the game but its grown on me over the past few months and its quite fun at times.
Absolutely amazing review video!
17:43 this is so true. I knew I was going to get raiden because she was guaranteed and I had enough wishes to hit hard pity, but I was still trying to get through the prelude quests to get to inazuma. I spent around 3 days for several hours straight trying to get through the content.
It's so silly/funny that the devs didn't foresee this hurdle when writing the quests for Inazuma. They should fix this by writing some sort of pirate/infiltration side quest that lets you sneak into Inazuma to explore and collect mats before you actually get there in the story.
Generally, the saving cycle is one and a half to two patches for a 5 star. The 3 months figure is based on the old patch cycle (1.5 month per patch). In the current patch cycle (1 month), it take about 2 months top.
I dont play the game thaaaaat much but I rly have to say: even if u dont wanna grind or play the game for the fighting aspect or even the story aspect.... if u just download it for free and start exploring it feels awesome. The world is just so nice and just running around and exploring is worth it! If u should enjoy the rest of the game its just a bonus. For real: get the game and just start exploring! Go onto ur own adventure. U dont have to fight all day long or grind until u can beat the late game content. As mentioned u dont even need to play the story line if u dont want to (there is only one region u cant get to without playing the story. Most of the world is easy accessable by simply walking there. The monsters lvl dont get too high if u "progress" to far by exploring cause their lvl adapts to the "world lvl". So u actually can go wherever u want, whenever u want :D
a great game imo
Very good structured video 👍
I started playing in June 2023 , so not even one year has passed and I have caught up to most of the things.
I am AR 56 and unlocked everyplace, I can easily 9 star the 11th floor of the Abyss but the 12th floor is a work in progress. I don't think I feel that I was too late to start in fact it is because too late I am able to play with newer characters like Wanderer {my main}, Furina.
I started at November 2023, and I couldn't even beat 12th floor, barely max star at 11th though...hope we both become stronger in the future!
I started playing maybe late November 2023 and I am very happy with my decision. Although I may have to wait for the 5 stars I want, the archon quests are so deep and I love the lure intertwined in the story and each beautifully made characters. The music and graphics are beautiful, the cutscenes give me goose bumps because of how well made they are, and I really enjoy the fighting system. I don’t feel begin on anything but the characters which I can get over cause I know many others don’t have much either. I am a bit annoyed about the Inazuma thing cause I’m in the mist of it now but I love the new lore I get to experience which I will not spoil. I Stan Shenhe
started playing last december as my side game since HSR is my main game. Got blessed with Navia as my first 5 star and Raiden + C5 Bennett on the current banner. I'm AR45 world level 6
Fellow Hsr player here, is there any big differences for someone looking to start Genshin?

Less rewards.
The story isn't that good for the first 3 regions. Story goes from a 6/10 to 10/10 after.
The game is way easier.
Only 1 endgame mode, but there's TCG, Fishing, and Housing
Way less powercreep.
Way more music.
I just started last 4.2 because I was a MOBA gamer, then I thought to myself, I am so tired of the losestreaks there and bad teammates. I just missed on Furina's banner. I am AR 45 rn and won both my 50/50's with Ayaka and Raiden. Love the content here! So many to go around! I wish I played this game sooner!
Just don't meet with social media community especially of this game right now, that's my advise
I was also tired of losestreaks
Thanks for this honest and comprehensive review. I am a returning player after 2 years and you pretty much anwered all my questions. I do hope that I'll get back into the swing but I think Genshin Impact is definitely worth it
Just started playing this year 😂
TBH at first it is overwhelming but im enjoying myself so far. Im trying to build my baby team slowly Kaeya, Barbara, Bennett & Razor ( im happy with my team so i wouldnt be pulling for event banners for a long time til i saved up alot of primos )
I started playing genshin cause they got a PC version of the game since I dont have a phone that can handle this. My friends who are already playing genshin helped me through Co Op to get familiar with the game leveling up and elemental system.
I do experience burn out but if you pace the game it doesnt feel all that stressful
I started playing in 4.2 and was totally new to the world of genshin. I didn't know certain core mechanics of the game and was totally lost on what to do and ended up messing up my acc by rushing my acc. I got very over leveled very quickly and playing the game wasn't fun anymore. I stopped playing the game for a while and during that time I started watching genshin content on RUclips when I stumbled across this channel which really encouraged me to start playing genshin again. I started playing genshin again after a month or so but by that time, I had missed out on a bunch of good banners with characters that I really wanted. I dunno why I wrote this tbh.
Lol never quit genshin it is an addiction not a hobby
Its relatable that missing the good banners with characters u want:( but just know they'll always come back and take it slow/dont play until their time is near
I want kazuha. But i got raiden instead in 40 pulls.@@meda4385
What's your current AR level? If it's more than 45, might as well make a new account. Take it slowly and steadily.. Good characters will just have reruns, so don't worry about it. Now is a good time to start a new account, good banner and we're expecting the lantern rite festival, in which hoyo would give free character. Have fun

I just started playing it, after having not played in a while. So I'm interested to see what you say in the video and read the comments afterwards.
Feel like i want to back to 2020 era, when the nice games are came out, Genshin, Valorant, etc. Im still young just go to school, do my homework, and that's it. Im totally free, i can play games everyday no need to think about anything. Just... The covid19.
well I actually just started 2 weeks ago, and I had alot of fun with it
What I hate is that some of these events contain character lore, which we'll never get access again If you missed it.
If hoyo put those weapons in the shop i swear they would make so much money
Well I have been waiting to play this game since its first release, but only now that i manage to play it since getting a good smartphone while i like to play it as it give me the same vibe watching some adventures anime😂
I just started the game it seems like a lot of fun. It's an interesting dynamic and it's different from what I' normally play.

lvl 70s to 50s but im hard locked fo inazuma wich is sad, also reruns for archons are a pain i started the week after furina left and im still kicking myself for it.
All the content made me come back after 3 years, i was a day 1 player.
I started playing day 1 and then stopped after 3months I have revisited over the months but only for a Week or so but thinking of staying longer

@sharkH3art just wanted to let you know 'Actually' has a typo in the title, I think.
Thanks for the interesting content as always. Cheers.
huge support to shark for his content one of the best genshin content creator
I play it when it came out, then stop playing but came back. I forgot how fun this game is especially for being free.
I believe you get like 50 wishes from the $100 pack after the initial bonus... they still give a bonus of 1600 primos on every wish after the first
It’s definitely worth it!!!
I’m only not playing it anymore because, there’re tomuch games on mine console that I wanna finish it.
Can't wait to re download this game last time I played it was on ps4 gonna be huge difference on ps5
As a new player, the diluted character pool is the biggest disadvantage. So many charachters aren't worth building or require other charachters to be viable that making two teams for the abyss may take forever.
For me the most annoying part for new players are the region lock events, like if the event is in fountaine and you just started, either you miss the event freebies or rush the main story which will burn you out plus you don't have a clue on what's happening in the story.. They could've made a portal or event tab so anyone from any part of the story could join in, plus we are being teleported to other place anyway it's just the teleporter is in other region, like they don't want early players to join
i really struggled coming back to the game, i quit before the chasm and made a new account recently, im ar 55 now and up to the end of sumeru. now im acclimated again but i wanted to quit quite a few times especially sumeru
I played in the very beginning, what are the changes to combat that you mentioned?
Tbh some days im grinding. But you dont need to do all the time. Better to try ans enjoy the story when you can. If course though you need to use your resin ane grind
missing out on story events that will never get rerun sucks but everything else is amazing start aug 2023 in 3.8
As someone who has played for over two years here are two major considerations that all players will eventually realize perhaps months if not over a year into the game: firstly there is no endgame, the spiral abyss is an absolute pittance to the time and love of investment you will give these characters.
Secondly you will reach a point where the mindless grind for character ascension materials becomes so incredibly boring that you will actually not want to pull a new character because you’d have to spend hours upon hours grinding meaningless Content to level them up and for what purpose because there is literally no endgame lol. So definitely enjoy the journey the games that you want and not the destination because there is no destination there is no meaning beyond the slice of life in the world building!
Will say the last part is subjective. My favorite things is building up characters and aside from the artifacts it’s really fast to level everyone up by the time you’re end game. You can get multiple characters to 90 with level 6 talents within 3-4 hours in less than a week. Team building and trying out new things can be pretty fun.
@@hinatashouyou2790 great point yeah if those parts are a persons jam then Genshin will definitely be a pleasant experience! I will also add that there is a calmness in farming mats for characters as well as a world class soundtrack that honestly nothing can really compare to in a game! 👍💎

Fantastic video. Downloading this mobile game.
Starting now means that new player wasted hundreds of thousands of Primogems and Resin already, so taking a break every now and then when they feel burnout is okay, because they already wasted all that Resin and Primos, a few hundred lost won't be any different.
I quit in 2.8 bc of storage I still don’t have storage but I might get a new iPad and switch from a iPhone to iPad player
I had Raiden, Mona, qiqi, Ayaka, diluc and Jean and finished all the story quests except the chasm (if it has quests)
Will I get any primos at least if I come back, by the time I come back there will be a new region probably though so more quests
Then?
Still new to Genshin and I haven't played in a while but if I understand right I should save my Primogems for Intertwined Fate and use them on wishes. And mainly focus on 5-star wishes, I played Shogun in a trial and she's available in the Regin of Serenity wish, would that be something to spend fates on as I understand you can only get her like that?
Yes, the limited 5* characters are only on these banners. Raiden will be available only until this banner ends and then will return in about a year. You will get the blue, standard banner wishes as rewards throughout game play, so don't spend primos on it.
I played from release until they released Inazuma…..I got a new job and my kids needed more care I took time off. Things are going good now, I’ve started playing again after about 2 years off. I’m sad I don’t have all the special event stuff and limited stuff, but the hame is still amazing. Takes me back to playing Spyro as a kid.
I started 4 days ago. Currently at AR 20
You can make platforms of ice with 4 kayas to cross the ocean to make to Inazuma faster (< lvl 30) . Rayden said: no no no babies you all gonna sink with my thunders lol
I'm new player and I don't think I'm taking a break from genshin until I get [3-4] 5⭐ star characters
I started in 2023 here are some key things I experienced
1. Some things are location oriented like 1st time you visit sumeru they are not quest so experiencing linear is best . So some hindrance in my experience
2. A lot of character are unkown to me i don't know about so much characters like kirara i didn't knew there was a character like that i thought she was a future character
For 2 you just need to open ESC and go character list there : D
@@user-ot4rp8yn8r :(
I discovered that later, but what about 1st point any solutions for that, I made an alt to account to get better experience so i didn't left monstad after story quest and most probably I will stay there until it's
completed .
Also I used to wish on every banner and get random 5 stars (´•̥﹏•̥`)
My suggestion for Genshin: 1 let you use trial character with your own characters, e.g. I want to trial Xianyun with my Hutao to see if I like it. 2 let you save artifact and weapon with team, and let you choose saved team in the abyss.
I wish there was more endgame, especially with coop, e.g. a firefight mode
If you like playing story gameplay, yeah genshin much recommended. Also genshin has an optional co-op feature. So no pressure on your build path.
Been playing for 3 years since release. The game got boring. But for a new player, it's worth it. I still play this game because of the scenery, its nice to take a stroll while listening to sum music.
How many wishes did you have? I got c1 Neuv and his weapon in around 200 wishes. I saved for 3 months.
Well worth it for me. Being a traveller main has its perks.
It doesn't
Started two months ago.
The amount of content is almost overwhelming at this stage. The only area I've 100%ed is Dragonspine (No. I don't want to talk about it.)
It's a fun game but I find it hard to level up and advance characters after a certain point.
I mean the thing is I'm not a person that needs/wants to collect every character in the game, but I do want to get a decent amount or at least some which doesn't seem very possible in genshin and every person I see talk about genshin kinda tiptoes and avoids the aspect of actually getting 5 stars.
Due to real life issues i was unable to get chiori. A character i fell in love with lore wise and could relate to. I also was unable to get Furina the firat time and was sad. I have been considering quitting genshin several times due to the gacha of non permanent characters. Should people keep playing Genshin if they are unable to get the character they truly want? I only get a 5 star at 90 pulls. And then i gatta do another 90 to get the actually character.
Problems for new players are: they're gonna miss good limited time event weapons.
It would be hard for them to get charracters they want since not everyone is lucky or can spend thousand dollar on a game and most charracters rerun take months to years.
It would take them so many months to build their charracters since everything cost so much resin with very little daily amount of resin + weekly bosses
Is inazuman the place with the lightning?
Why not, its not to late to start, I started last year
Maybe it is the slow grind that keeps us wanting more hmmm
I started playing in last NOV, and I was hooked. It is one of the rare truly Free_to_play game which I can play conveniently in any time of day. Instead, I am willingly to pay 5 dollars a month, which I don't have to, to speed up my chances to pull some characters I like, hopefully with enough gems saving by the time their banner shows up . I rarely pay any game and Genshin Impact has earned my support for being truly a excellent F2P game.
For new players yes definitely, the main story should keep them busy and some world quest are really interesting.
But for old players like myself ahem Hoyo must step up their game cause. No new character is worth my playing time. Like I need content something big and nice.
Mirage Paradise for example was really fun I enjoyed that, and I wished it can last longer. So I can explore it all at leisure pace. But nah it did not last long.
I think its best to get just the daily thing that gives ya 90 Primos. Like that ya have 60 from the dailies, so it's 150 yar forced to play for 10 more and you have a wish a day.
With this method I get a 5 star in 1 out of 2 banners. And if ya time them well( you can gather to I dont) you will get who ya want. Like this ya spend a little yes, but it's not running you and it just adds to the enjoyment. Making it to easy makes it boring. Having it too hard makes it annoying. So this is how I ballance it.
I started in august and have all the standards except Tignari 🤷♂️ and then 5 more 5 stars from banners that I actually wanted.
As for the 4 stars they just pop on standard to, I got Gorou c2 just from random standard. And Faruzan c4.
So yeah, this seems to me the best way to go, at least for me.
The games events and gacha system remindd me alot of Destiny. Especially with how they add and remove content. FOMO is felt hard in these games.
True. Although this will affect more those who care about some stories, which in a way are still irrelevant to the main one, and are not that good, in my opinion. The characters' relationships feel very superficial, and the community tends to exaggerate, but again, maybe is only me. The minigames in the events are very repetitive, they're not very creative and people sees to like do the same thing in this game, so, from the company pespective, that's great. That's why I consider it to be a stagnant game nowadays.
I start a New account, stoped AT aniversery 1 After liké 3 or 4 month playing , i'm was disgusted about the poor gift for this event(and bored by the artefact farm) but i'm hère again , glad to see very good 4star buyable and 160 résine per day (was 160 for 3 days berfore😅)
The month primo card it's fine , not expensive , its a good way to thx the dev for this game , bp it's probably good at start (for the weapon) but After that it's easely skopable so it's fine .
I'm a returning player. I only understand hyperbloom but not quicken and agravate.
I think after a year they should put event stuff into qishes
My friend and I were genshin ogs and he bought Xiao during the first lanturn rite and he quit because he said It got stale and because of the god awful resin grind me and him had fun with it with the time we spent but it's behind us now and i have no reason to play the game again
I just started playing not to long ago I gotta say its worth it 👍
I am starting to play the game today, and i wanted to make sure it was worth to use 85 gb of storage on my computer for this game before downloading it
Complete my first year now I'm farming hero books and just resting
Of course it is worth playing Genshin Impact anytime it really is a beautiful game and very much enjoyable if you are not focusing on meta and dont worry about new 4* character not being good because in a few days GaMing will be in the banner and he is comparable to many 5* characters
The underwater stuff looks like Kingdom Hearts lol
