I've seen this thrown around quite a bit. #50 - Those showcase videos and pictures are also attacking an enemy that has negative resistances when stunned, such as Shouki no Kami and Raiden Shogun bosses. Some also use private servers sneakily where they can customize their artifacts and characters. #84 - Candace's fully charged E skill can also one shot ore nodes around her. #86 - Yanfei can also be used to show the location of resources unique to Liyue and, as of the second half of version 3.5, Mika can do so for Mondstadt. #88 - Kokomi also applies hydro to herself upon initial casting of her E. #92 - Collei also reduces gliding stamina consumption. One more useful tip is that having both Dehya and Rosaria in the team will provide a 10% movement speed bonus at all times on the overworld and stacks with Anemo resonance. I'm surprised that using a plunging attack before hitting the ground when jumping from a height will nullify fall damage wasn't mentioned (though you have to have been given the glider from Amber to do this; doesn't work without it for some reason). Also the crafting bench was not mentioned at all? I would disagree with number 4. Spending fates on the beginner banner these days is not worth it due to not having any characters that were added after version 1.0 in the pool and no four star weapons at all. Fun fact about the beginner banner, Noelle is obtainable from it once through the guarantee only; she cannot be pulled from it at all afterwards because she is not in the character pool.
All great points! One thing to add for fellow Dehya mains, the Dehya+Rosaria combo is very comfy with Kazuha and Bennet. At this point I've accepted she's not meta and will probably never be, but she's very fun to use with this team and is very comfortable in the overworld with a smooth rotation. Give it a go!
I would disagree on the beginner's wish logic because it's one of the best shots you have at getting Sucrose who is nearly impossible to get constellations for now. Delaying your 5* pity for standard banner assumes you're getting a lot of value out of that 5* at lower ARs but truthfully the best value of standard banner are skyward weapons. Over the long term you'll be better off with the guaranteed Noelle to help with early game and chance at a Sucrose. At higher ARs standard banner becomes a source of 4* weapon refinements and starglitter at which point pity is irrelevant.

While staying Ar45 I still found a few in this video very helpful as there were some I never knew about. This is very well made and I will be coming back to this as there are a few things I've been trying to find that are included in this, thanks so much for all the info shared here. Edit: Enkonomiya was a pain to get through. even though I'm at 100% I still have one quest to do but (no offense) I cannot bare to be in that place again anytime soon XD.
Tip 101 is by far the best tip imo. The game is litterally the type that you can take at your own pace. The only reason youd like to continue playing consistently would be for primos for a character you want/need. Apart from that theres no reason to haste yourself on the game.
During my first year I stopped picking up everything and literally found myself lacking the most basic of materials. Even now my supply of berries haven't recovered and it's been years!
I've been playing for only 6months and I never really watched guides when I started, I only started watching them now in case there are somethings' I still didn't know and this video did teach me a few tips I didn't already know
Lil question about dailies. I noticed that doing about 3 days can advance you AR level (currently I'm 22). It's important and all but it also increases world Level too. Personally I still figuring the battle system, literally fighting for my life since I knew absolutely nothing about it lol. I'm afraid doing dailies consistently will make my world Level go much faster, thus harder enemies. In the other side, it's such a waste to let those 50 primos per day go, as a low spender myself. Any suggestions?
Great question, once you get to the next tier of AR levels where enemies get stronger, there's actually a quest that you have to do before the world levels up. If you feel that you're characters are not strong enough to tackle the next world level, you can stay in your current one for a little longer as long as you don't complete the world level up quest. In short, I don't recommend skipping dailies. World leveling is optional once you reach it. Thanks for watching!
*_build your characters_* and grind *_artifact domains_* in COOP. at AR 22 you *_don’t_* have access to 5 star artifacts yet but the best u can do is do a little research on each character’s most beneficial artifact set and get the *_4 star_* version of it in domains. i highly recommend *_genshin’s fandom wiki_* as it has loads of information on basically anything you could ever ask for. u should also grind some *_ascension materials_* for ur *_weapons/characters_* . it can be hard to defeat bosses at first (the geo hypostasis for noelle, for example) but u eventually get the hang of it! as i said previously you can of course get people’s help with that in COOP. i myself am at AR 49 and i struggle to get the required materials to ascend my kazuha but my friend (who’s a much higher AR than me) is always happy to help. there are plenty of people who would be happy to as well. oh and don’t forget to level up your characters’ *_talents!_* they make a BIG difference in their *_performance!_* levelling up my main’s talents really improved his *_elemental skill/burst/normal attack DMG_* . when you reach *_AR 40_* (minimum to access 5 star artifacts) i suggest you start farming them *_right away_* , solo or in coop. it can be tricky to get a full set so you’ll need *_a LOT of resin_* . that said, doing your dailies is very good for your *_overall experience_* . since you are at AR 22, you already earn a pretty good amount of *_mora_* . make sure you have *_plenty_* because pretty much any changes you wanna do to your characters require mora, whether it be *_levelling them up, ascending them, ascending their weapons, levelling up their artifacts, talents_* ...its a lot. and if you do end up going broke you can earn a pretty good amount with *_reputation quests, ley line blossoms/outcrops, story quests, etc_* . you can find a lot of info on this on the genshin wiki i mentioned previously. all of this will make it wayyyyy easier to keep up with the world level increase. good luck!
I have not been a gamer, so combat is tough. I was afraid of every monster and often just ran away. Don't do that. You can't get experience fighting by avoiding them. He said in the video to pick everything up, and I agree, even sweet flowers! But I will now add, fight everything there is to fight. It will help you immensely.
Big tip:don't look at your primo count only look at commission in your hand book pick up everything tht shines EVERYTHING kill everything show no mercy take every chest do every puzzle watch videos on those puzzles if u can't do them, unlock every statue possible even if u have to run, unlock all way points, cook eggs, upgrade your characters, do this untill your ar 45 only then can u start pulling trust me as a guy tht just started 3 weeks ago and is at ar 43 and probably at most only plays like 3 days or less in a week for 3 hours at most this is very helpful, just let everything inflate and accumulate its satisfying to finally collect it all Edit:don't collect all chests till you finish the archon quest of tht nation then watch a RUclips guide to get all of them thts much easier cause you'll be able to follow along(optional)
When i was a beginner i just made the Monstadt archon quest and went to Liyue and then to Sumeru instead of Inazuma before the doing the archon quest so my traveler will have anemo element forever (and i didn't know the traveler could have other elements and discovered it when watching a genshin impact gameplay video)
Somewhat new player here, only on adventure rank 22 and world level 1, I haven't finished the video yet but I can tell this is gonna help me, I just did the arcon quest where you free devalin from the corrupted spikes and Venti is now weakened, so I still have a looooooooooong way to go 😅
One major tip I'd give as a fellow new player. Don't waste resources on Diluc if you were cursed with him as your only main DPS like me unless you really like him. I can't stand Diluc and it's a bit frustrating that many "purists" say he's fine. He's utter garbage imo, and I was surprised to find out Xiangling is so much better even though she's mostly off field. She can fill the role for pyro needs and has longevity for your account, but you can't say the same for Diluc aka Diflook.
Dude love how the first thing you mentioned on this how it doesn't matter what main character one chooses because I just came off a tips on star rail video and they were actually arguing about which one is better 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I always wanna say this when watching the video. If you are not a sweaty gamer who want to min-max everything, a nice alternative is to just ignore everything said here and go f*ck around and find out. A big reason long term players feel burned out in Genshin is because of how little there is that is a mystery. A big part of Genshin experience is the curiosity and satisfaction of figuring out new mechanism and contents as you play the game. And once you picked up the game's patterns and mechanics, you are in a loop of repetitive content when there is no story/event/new region available
0:07 when I first started the game I didn’t even know I could open chests, it’s been over a year now and I didn’t even notice that chest :’3 maaaaaaannnnnnnn I’m blind (which is why I look at guides sometimes lol)
@@felixdraconic No thankfully not!! But we are approaching the last few regions based on the Teyvat Trailer. No concrete evidence yet whether it's going to end, or they're gonna keep it going with a new world but so far the only major regions we have yet to explore is Natlan, Snezhnaya, and Khaenri'ah so about 3-4 more years before the whole story arc they set up is over. They'll probably keep it going though since Genshin is so massive!
i regret not searching for a beginner guide back when i first played genshin, aside from wasting my primos(and now I'm struggling as a f2p player) i also wasted all my resources. didn't farm artifacts til ar50 and didn't level my characters as early as I could. the enemies are like level 90 and most of my characters is at level 50. I'm still trying to level them up til now:>
Easiest way to catch up should be to focus on one character like Raiden in the current banner who can carry you through the majority of farming content. But no worries with rushing, part of the fun of Genshin is making mistakes and learning through the journey.
I still watch tips and tricks from other youtubers from time to time too. You learn something new every now and then, and it's interesting to see what we've just known but are alien to new players.
last tip is gold. i havent even started playing the game (and there are some really useful tipps in here for sure) i know that sometimes you just have to take a break. in the end, its just a game and you are meant to have fun
@Kaganath I literally took the SD card from my switch and put all my photos and videos onto it just to have space for Genshin on my phone. This all happened bc I was seeing so much Genshin on my fyp and the election really stressed me out
I've learned a lot too while making this video! It's been a while since I was low AR since I don't like having multiple accounts, but I'm glad the low AR tips hold up.
I'm kind of hesitant to ascend my world level because I'm currently at AR50, using the world level *below* proper one, because my units don't deal enough damage to keep battles at a reasonable pace. I want to build a team or two to do good damage before I keep going. Nothing crazy like 20k or something, but just enough to make sure the fights won't be a total slog
Me at AR 17 because I just started 2-3 weeks ago and because my friends told me to.. plus I never had time to play so there’s a first for everything! 😂🎉
Im ar45 and I did actually get Rosaria on the standard banner and she was the only character I wanted at the time. If you get stardust thingys and you have already bought all your intertwined fate buy some aquaint fait bc you can earn more stardust of some starglitter
19:26 Please someone tell me that diluc is that good because I got diluc below ar lvl 5 and made him as a main but I am still a new player and tell me some team comps with him
I once tried ghensin withinout any draw and brother its super duper hard game with very slow progression. It consumed so much time that i mistakenly deleted it. It gets little better after you unlock collie bcoz of that op combo.....but still without any draw its very hard and boring. We need atleast one 5 star .
The difficulty spike isn't really that high, especially if you prepare your materials before hand so you can instantly level up your team. You also will always have the option to go down a world level.
Only if you don't mind getting the featured one. I built pity on the current Navia banner since I'm not really pulling for anyone specific until the Pyro Archon. (Got C1 Dehya which I actually wanted! But Navia would've been nice as well)
I m new to this game Ar21, corect me if i m wrong, i think i should follow a order while unlocking a new area. Like Frist u get monstad after its archon quest then venti tell us to go to liyua then u unlock that area, instead of unlocking the whole teyvat and not doing quest orderly and i think it messes up ur imp quest order. My cousin who just recently joined genshin like me is doing all that , he first unlock the whole teyvat well the places where he can go, bca he like travelling, be ignored every task at that now after lot saying he has started doing tasks he completed his first archon quest and now sometimes i think his tasks are messed up. Atlast sry for the big para i hope u read it and reply😅🙂
I recommend following the questline, just because that was how it was intended by the devs. If you start doing quests in the later areas before doing the main quest it might become confusing. At the end of the day, it's an open world game so feel free to play however you want. I'm just the type to do things in order!
2:19 so i really need help, idk why but the condensed Resin is not there for me like i cant craft it because it isnt showing can anybody help? Edit: its alright now i know it
All good info! But as a casual f2p I'll never come close to any of this. I just have fun because it's a beautiful and fun game. I wish as I get them and have had pretty darned good luck. Thanks.
I think a lot of f2p players underestimate how much they can get in this game. It will take time, but Genshin players tend to stick with the game for years anyway because of the continuous content release. My girl's been free to play since she started a little over a year ago, and she's got most of the 5 star character she wanted with the latest one being Raiden with Engulfing. Her only mistake was pulling on Itto as her first 5 star which she ended up not playing. Just be diligent with your dallies, get as much as you can every abyss reset, and do the events. You'll have a bunch of Primos in no time.
Hi, I am a 3 day old genshin newbie. My party is traveller\amber azor\kaeya. i also have noel and that librarian we get in the beginning. what character should i develop now? currently i focus on traveller, giving him all the best things i find but sometimes fighting mobs becomes too difficult. i just unlocked the electro hypostasis boss and he wiped my party in 3 mins. I have no prior understanding of genshin but your video did answer a few doubts, though I might have to watch it a few more times coz tmi 😁.
Hey, welcome to Teyvat! Easiest way to figure out who to build in my opinion is to pull early in the game so you'll have a wide selection of characters to choose from. If you find somebody in particular that you like, pour all your resources into them and have them carry you through most of the encounters. For reference, that character for me was Beidou, who is a 4 star electro sub dps but I used her as a main dps throughout my early Genshin days. For the electro hypostasis, you should be getting a free Xiangling in your account soon and she's a great counter for this boss. She's also a meta unit, and has been for the majority of Genshin's lifetime making her a good investment. Characters like Xiangling, Xingqui, Bennet & Fishchl are very beginner friendly. But let's say you got somebody else and you like the look of them, feel free to go ahead and build them as that's where the fun in Genshin really lies, even if they're not meta. Always remember, meta is for abyss only. Every single character can become powerful in the open world.

Edit: Enkonomiya was a pain to get through. even though I'm at 100% I still have one quest to do but (no offense) I cannot bare to be in that place again anytime soon XD.
Awesome video on tips! I do daily commissions every day even if I don't feel like exploring so not to miss out on primogems!
Tip 101 is by far the best tip imo. The game is litterally the type that you can take at your own pace. The only reason youd like to continue playing consistently would be for primos for a character you want/need. Apart from that theres no reason to haste yourself on the game.
Didn’t expect to watch a 30 minute genshin video but here I am 😂 great info!
thanks for this video, this is really useful, I’ll send this to my friend who is ar 16 :)
Hopefully your friend enjoys their journey!
Thanks to you I ascend my world level to 4 and all my characters are level 50 I have to rely on elemental reactions to ascend 😂
It's been 2years since I've started playing genshin nd I never took this seriously "pick up everything"
During my first year I stopped picking up everything and literally found myself lacking the most basic of materials. Even now my supply of berries haven't recovered and it's been years!
I just started GI and I definitely found some of this stuff accidentally 😅 and some I definitely didn't know. Thank you for the help!
As a new player I barely understood half of what he said.
Happy to answer if you have any questions! This video's kinda old now so it's pretty bad imo
Ehh I’ve gotten to level 22 adventure and I have a pretty good grasp of what he’s saying and found some useful tips…
I've been playing for only 6months and I never really watched guides when I started, I only started watching them now in case there are somethings' I still didn't know and this video did teach me a few tips I didn't already know
I'm glad the video could help!

As a person who started playing months ago, and and is AR 23 rn, BRO IM SO DUMB, HOW DID I NOT KNOW-
Damn !!.. doesn't feel like a new channel at all !... Thanks man ❤
Thank you! I'm glad you found this helpful!
As an AR56, i did not know that seeli points show you which way the seeli is
Big tip:don't look at your primo count only look at commission in your hand book pick up everything tht shines EVERYTHING kill everything show no mercy take every chest do every puzzle watch videos on those puzzles if u can't do them, unlock every statue possible even if u have to run, unlock all way points, cook eggs, upgrade your characters, do this untill your ar 45 only then can u start pulling trust me as a guy tht just started 3 weeks ago and is at ar 43 and probably at most only plays like 3 days or less in a week for 3 hours at most this is very helpful, just let everything inflate and accumulate its satisfying to finally collect it all
Edit:don't collect all chests till you finish the archon quest of tht nation then watch a RUclips guide to get all of them thts much easier cause you'll be able to follow along(optional)
the algorithm really failed me because you uploaded this literally the day i started playing genshin. i'm AR57 now lol
it always amazes me how many characters have traits that the game does not tell you about
When i was a beginner i just made the Monstadt archon quest and went to Liyue and then to Sumeru instead of Inazuma before the doing the archon quest so my traveler will have anemo element forever (and i didn't know the traveler could have other elements and discovered it when watching a genshin impact gameplay video)
Thank you so much!! These are very helpful.
Somewhat new player here, only on adventure rank 22 and world level 1, I haven't finished the video yet but I can tell this is gonna help me, I just did the arcon quest where you free devalin from the corrupted spikes and Venti is now weakened, so I still have a looooooooooong way to go 😅
You're in for quite the journey! Have fun!
The resin one really helped me as a new player thx a lot
as a AR 54 beginner this video is very helpful 👍
1:38 🙁 (I level up characters to 40 the moment I get them so I can get wishes 😞)
You can get wishes thatvway?
I always wanna say this when watching the video.
If you are not a sweaty gamer who want to min-max everything, a nice alternative is to just ignore everything said here and go f*ck around and find out. A big reason long term players feel burned out in Genshin is because of how little there is that is a mystery. A big part of Genshin experience is the curiosity and satisfaction of figuring out new mechanism and contents as you play the game. And once you picked up the game's patterns and mechanics, you are in a loop of repetitive content when there is no story/event/new region available
Hard agree!
One of the most important tips i miss on the early game is the interactive map which i deserved lately on ar 44
There is so much to remember 😅
Thanks for a great video 😊
0:07 when I first started the game I didn’t even know I could open chests, it’s been over a year now and I didn’t even notice that chest :’3 maaaaaaannnnnnnn I’m blind (which is why I look at guides sometimes lol)
I still haven't opened that chest. I'm saving it for Genshin's ending, will be the last thing I do if it ever shuts down.
@@Kaganath has there been talk of genshin ending??? 😱
@@Kaganath wahh thats good atleast, i hope it doesnt end anytime soon
i regret not searching for a beginner guide back when i first played genshin, aside from wasting my primos(and now I'm struggling as a f2p player) i also wasted all my resources. didn't farm artifacts til ar50 and didn't level my characters as early as I could. the enemies are like level 90 and most of my characters is at level 50. I'm still trying to level them up til now:>
Easiest way to catch up should be to focus on one character like Raiden in the current banner who can carry you through the majority of farming content. But no worries with rushing, part of the fun of Genshin is making mistakes and learning through the journey.
I need a tutorial for this tutorial 😳
😂for real tho
YOOO sumeru bounties having no tracking is a game changer, i’ve literally been avoiding bounties cuz the tracking is so buggy
Im 782 hours in my main account alone but these vids r still kinda fun to watch 🙂👍
Dude, I played this game around late 2022 to mid 2023 and had to delete both it and HSR due to storage on my phone and I miss them so much
If you can get a cheap laptop to play this on it's incredibly worth it!
@Kaganath I literally took the SD card from my switch and put all my photos and videos onto it just to have space for Genshin on my phone. This all happened bc I was seeing so much Genshin on my fyp and the election really stressed me out
21:43 idk if that's how it was when the video came out, but i got my serenitea pot at ar 30, and currently am in 33 i think, nowhere near ar 35
As a person that has an ar 55 and ar 23 acc this was actually helpful lol
I've learned a lot too while making this video! It's been a while since I was low AR since I don't like having multiple accounts, but I'm glad the low AR tips hold up.
I'm kind of hesitant to ascend my world level because I'm currently at AR50, using the world level *below* proper one, because my units don't deal enough damage to keep battles at a reasonable pace. I want to build a team or two to do good damage before I keep going. Nothing crazy like 20k or something, but just enough to make sure the fights won't be a total slog
25:52 That's what I needed, thank you
oh yeah, now that i’ve been playing for 3 years, i can definitely put these tips to good use
Me: "I'm gonna watch a genshin impactv video with tips!" *watches it*
My brain: I THINK MOTO MOTO LIKES YOU
As a ar 56 player with extremly good characters, weapons and artifacts i find this very helpfull
Here at AR 56, and still didn't know u can use elemental sight to see the direction of the seelie (12)
Same
Me at AR 17 because I just started 2-3 weeks ago and because my friends told me to.. plus I never had time to play so there’s a first for everything! 😂🎉
Thank you as a starter I really need this I'm gonna be another subscriber
Am I the only person that is a high AR like 58 and still have the beginner banner on my wish menu?
Me who never used it at ar 33:
Brilliant video mate, i learned a few things from this and the video was put together well. Subscribed 👍
Thank you!
WTF OMG Thanks dude! I've played since 2020 but I didn't know the seelie one.
Happy to help! Took me a while to find that one as well, I think I was in Enkanomiya already when I realized Genshin had this feature😂
Im ar45 and I did actually get Rosaria on the standard banner and she was the only character I wanted at the time. If you get stardust thingys and you have already bought all your intertwined fate buy some aquaint fait bc you can earn more stardust of some starglitter
I learned a few things. I didwnt know about the map search. I need to check that out. Nice video thank you.😊
19:26 Please someone tell me that diluc is that good because I got diluc below ar lvl 5 and made him as a main but I am still a new player and tell me some team comps with him
Most people skip the dialogue, but still develop an attached to a character, but not because of their personality
i like that this actually includes pulling a qiqi and losing 50/50 :3
I once tried ghensin withinout any draw and brother its super duper hard game with very slow progression. It consumed so much time that i mistakenly deleted it.
It gets little better after you unlock collie bcoz of that op combo.....but still without any draw its very hard and boring. We need atleast one 5 star .
Just started and first thing I did was pick up and kill everything I saw on the way to waypoints
Your teapot is awesome ! :D
2nd 10 pull on that new banner got 5* and another 4* Diluc and Sucrose.
I've been playing since Day 1 and I still don't have Diluc. Congratulations!
I've been holding on at AR35 for almost 2 years.
Afraid of a big spike in difficulty and never seem ready.
The difficulty spike isn't really that high, especially if you prepare your materials before hand so you can instantly level up your team. You also will always have the option to go down a world level.
@@Kaganath Preparing the materials is such a grind. Some days I just can't stand fighting the same boss more than once. Have to really force myself.
@@iron2000 aah same. If you enjoy Genshin the way it is right now then it's okay. I mainly play for story nowadays anyway.
Do you think building pity is acceptable if you are not on your guaranteed featured character?
Only if you don't mind getting the featured one. I built pity on the current Navia banner since I'm not really pulling for anyone specific until the Pyro Archon. (Got C1 Dehya which I actually wanted! But Navia would've been nice as well)
@@Kaganath I won the 50/50 and made Navia my main DPS. But now I need a second good Geo character for the bonus.
Yo should i switch my traveler "dendro" to xiangling my team right now is kaeya xingqui and noelle
@@Kaganath Same, i m playing Genshin like i m watching an anime series.
I mean building pity worked for me, i built pity on eulas banner this year and a few days later it was wanderers banner and i wished, and i got him
i was that guy who went hundreds of hours in without realizing there was a chest on that rock at the very start
Thank you man😊
Just started yesterday and all this information is hard for me to gobble all at once 😭😅
Hi, I am a 3 day old genshin newbie. My party is traveller\amber
azor\kaeya. i also have noel and that librarian we get in the beginning. what character should i develop now? currently i focus on traveller, giving him all the best things i find but sometimes fighting mobs becomes too difficult. i just unlocked the electro hypostasis boss and he wiped my party in 3 mins.
I tried ice bridging to inazuma but as I was almost past halfway and reaching an island...the fuckin' lightning struck me breakin' ice and voila my stamina fully depilated b4 getting to the island
Great vid!
I am AR 17 (I play mostly story but now I unlocked some random Statues and got to the ghost fish thing, even though I didn't do any story to get there and now I do the story there (with the bad tea) and now I question, if it was a good Idea to do that, or if it would have been better, if I just played the normal story until I get there through that)
Kaganath: I got keqing every time on the standard banner
Me: but I want Keqing
that last tip Hit me HARD bro . I was burned uot trying ti abys Chamber 3couz i want Xiangling So badly that i push my self to it. Glady i finish.
As an ar 45 on sumeru quest 2 am i still considered a beginner?
In my sixth month and I did indeed learn some stuff. Thank you.
I seriously need to take care of my teapot
what should i do if quest got bugged? the quest tab tells me that at the guild they want to talk to me but when i click at it it doesnt do anything and i dont know what to do
Can you please give me a tip on how to defeat the slimes in 30 sec in "lost book" quest for lisa, the slimes level is 18 and my characters' level is 20 but i still can't do it in 30 sec, i only have 4 star characters (I'm Ar 17 rn)
mayhe I'm an older (not old) player but i still like watching these
