- Dr. Kathleen E. Walls interviews author Dr. Avis R. McGhee about her book The Bad Seed Produces Good Fruit. This memoir is aimed at Empowerment and encouraging others to know they are not the negative things people say about them. They have the power to overcome adversities and become an overcomer and a successful person.
Dr. Avis R. McGhee was born in Queens County New York, however raised in Norristown Pa. Her parents are now deceased. She is the mother of 2, is a grand-mother and great-grandmother. Dr. McGhee’s career in the behavioral health field working in residential drug and alcohol treatment programs spanned over thirty years. She has mentored many women and their children during her career and even now in retirement.
Dr. McGhee published her 1st book in July of 2023. “The Bad Seed Produces Good Fruit”. She is currently working on her second book and has a goal to complete that book by January of 2025.
Dr. McGhee’s desire is that every person reach their full potential spiritually, mentally, and physically.
