  • In this video I demo 3 kits from Addictive drums 2. The Fairfax vol. 1, the Black Velvet and the Studio Pop kit.
I had uploaded a previous version where the drum sets were not changing. That is fixed now. Thanks for watching!

I use this little guy. It has Midi out from the TD kit to USB A. I then use a dongle to connect the USB A to the USB C of my macbook air. Then run addictive in Pro Tools. Pretty simple with the right connections. If your computer accepts USB A then you dont even need a dongle in between.

Thanks for getting back to me - I don’t know much about this , but dies this mean that you can thus add all these extra drum kits to the existing 20 or so that to come with the kit

That come with the kit ? And if so , do you need to buy ‘pro logic’ ? I gather that’s a software program that you would need ? And then how do you connect that ? As you can see I’m a novice at this - is there a step by step video tutorial that you know of that could explain all this ? Many thanks

@@lorisf3882 Yes. They aren't added to the module of the kit per se. But you could have access to an unlimited amount of sounds.

i just bought the roland td k17 and can't figure out how to connect to my laptop. do you have a video on how to do that i have addictive drums 2 I'm using PreSonus Studio 26c. in to sonar?

If you want to use addictive drums the only option is MIDI. The td17 has an old school midi port on it. It says Midi out. You can buy a cable that transfers that midi to USB. Which will then plug straight into your laptop i assume.

May I ask what is the buffer size when you are using it? I have to choose the lowest buffer size available to get 0 latency and anything over it give me latencies. I have 16gb ram laptop with pretty high processing chip and running via Audient Id4. I simple cannot get the same sound as you are getting. The Lower the latency the lower sound quality gets for me.

I dont recall exactly what it was set at in this video. Are you plugging your drums in via line input? Or via midi? In the video I am using usb connection directly. And I am not using An interface at all.

try ASIO if there's a setting for it just know that there can't be any other sound playing on the computer other than the drums
