The powerplay mouse pad is ranked like 83 on Amazon’s best selling “gaming mice” category making it the 6th best selling gaming mouse pad on Amazon (truly shocking when I stumbled upon that info) and cant blame them for including it. What better way to lock a consumer into the Logitech brand than a $130 mousepad/wireless charger is there lol
I literally bought and and used it for a week max. Its way too small for my liking. Now I'm using the Razor Atlas Glass Mouspad and coudn't be happier.
Love this mousepad, I bought this 2 months after buying newly released g703, and used it since then. Mouse pad is great but they could do it much better, for example: smaller "hub" (you can bump into it sometimes when you play low sens), different sizes (just bought Ikea pad because of little size, will give it a try), rubber base (seriously, they could just make it plastic and you will not have problem with replacement of top layer but they did special version and you can't even buy new when old one wear off)
Whatever they did to the scroll wheel could be related to the fact that many of us with GPX 1 had issues with the scroll wheel actuating the reverse direction of what user input was, started happening on my copy after about a month.
Personally, i like my superlight 2. The clicks are definitely heavier but feel more premium and tactile. The sensor implementation feels great, really smooth. The shape is basically the same with a slightly drier coating. I already liked my superlight 1, but ive also had the starlight 12, viper v2, deathadder v3, lamzu mini, and x2 mini. So far im going to keep using the superlight 2 as my daily. I would say only get it if you really like the gpx shape and want heavier, more premium switches. The increase due to the hero sensor/2k is somewhat negligible.
is it really worth it tho, the black gpx is selling for 75$ without shipping on maxgaming rn is paying double that price worth it just for new clicks and a sensor that will feel the exact same to even the og hero sensor?

Just to add here in the UK the Superlight is £129 and the Superlight2 is £149...would just buying the superlight2 be the right idea... when visiting store they only had a deathadder out and it felt a little short in the hand. my superlight is better and weighs 56g 😎 here is the recipe: - Logitech G Pro X Superlight (Red) mods - SoSpacer Grips V3 (White) - Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot mouse switch, TTC Gold Encoder - Kailh Blue Side mouse switch - "TJExclusives" 3d printed weight reduced base - Tiger Ice Skates
Like I said in a Reddit post, the new batches of the GPX 1 have heavier clicks than a batch from 2-3 years ago. I would assume the clicks from the newer batches would be somewhat similar to the GPX 2 and if that’s the case, people be over exaggerating on yt 😂
I've got both and it's a noticeable difference (Original GPX, and a newer red one, and a GPX2) - I actually prefer the heavier clicks because I'm an idiot and I click by accident sometimes in games
now they need to upgrade and release new g703 , wish they could add bluetooth 5.2 and an extra pair of skates with every new mice launch and razer should also do that , overall a good upgrade for the gpx with internal upgrades , logi needs to release a new mousepad to compete with zowie , steelseries and release mice successor for g402, g102 , g305,g402 which had terrible double click issues , wtf is logi doing with these slow releases , i think the ceo is sleeping and the management is brain drained
Made my own endgame setup with the powerplay mat, used some corkboard and a layer of thin cardboard to extend the size and am rocking a artisan zero pad on it with my modded g pro superlight.
you can cover your mic with a sock to stop the pops and clicks from happening also too, figured youd add something on top of it, but it's been years and you havent. might make these vids even more shockingly high quality!!!
what? a lot of people use power play.. using one right now and it beats using any type of usb.. its one of the best things Logi G has created. other companies tried to copy it but doesnt even compare.. as for the skates i use the sapphire skates and in my opinion i think they are the best skates i ever have used.. u can keep transfering them from mouse to mouse with the included 3m tape and they are virtually indestructable.
They might sell a 4k dongle later if they can't add it later the the out of the box dongle with a firmware update. Also it doesn't make sense to me that the wired polling rate can't be 2000 too.

Pass .. More like Logitech GPX Superlight v1.2. This mouse is a lot less customizable with opticals. I'm not really a fan, at least not yet, of optical mouse switches. I prefer hot swappable, PCBs and use TTC Dustproof Golds amongst others. I agree the side buttons are pretty mediocre and you need to use grip tape to fix them. I'm still looking forward to the Finalmouse ULX in Tiger size large.
Logitech release a gold mine. Logitech call it a day. Logitech release a few variations and then a billion years later reopen their gold mine and dig an inch deeper. Bravo.
From logitech coming into the market with the original gpx setting a standard for years to come, to releasing a mouse which is subpar to a razer release of almost 2 years ago, what a downward trend.
its not much of an upgrade, but i went ahead and picked one up anyway cause ive had my GPX since it came out, and its starting to spin out from time to time lol. 2k hz and no spinout is a worthwhile trade up.
since I have both the og and v2 I dont see the point to continue using the OG if I enjoy more the clicks and sensor on the V2, I do hope they realease a 4k dongle at least and a GPX signature edition made of carbon fiber to make it even lighter, but thats probably too much to asks.
So can you confirm that the skates/feet from GPX1 are not compatible with the GPX2? Cause this completely sucks. I have a ton of mouse skates for the GPX1. If this does not work and with the lack of true updates for GPX2 then I will skip it.

Please update/reply to this comment if it does happen in the future, thank you.
I hate the tactile feeling with the new Superlight 2 .. I'm not going to be able to adjust to that and still enjoy myself. It requires too much force compared to the OG.
As much as I like this mouse, I hate that the finish on mine started wearing off within the first 6 months... super annoying. And thanks for USB C? ...finally? I stopped using powerplay because it stopped working...and started making an odd electronic hum in my headphones when it was charging; super annoying. Also just had to change the skate just enough to irritate peeps who stocked up on those after market glass skates? Super annoying... I'm noticing a trend. lol I got half a mind to go back to using a razer... no joke.
yeah the superlight 2 is basically the superlight 1 but with a 2% improvement, still i have some complaint for the superlight and the second version and that is it doesn't have the side button on the right side for some reason (probably cuz most people put their mouse in the right side so logitech just remove it entirely for weight saving)
the stock glides are the best one! will buy the hole new mouse to be able to use the stock ones after trying so many "popular" aftermarket glides! they are horrible and not made for FPS games where u need to be able to control your aim! they are all are too fast in comparing with the stock ones
Did they change the middle mouse click down to optical? I've broken the middle mousedown click on 3x superlights all of which happened in warranty at least.
Unpopular opinion: this whole "update" is just trying to answer Razer Viper V2 Pro. It was totally unnecessary, because the shape of the two are so different this minor change won't suddenly make anyone change their preferred mouse or choice to this one.

For me, superlight 2 is an instant buy, the optical switch makes it last longer in humid environment, the usb c is just a quallity of life improvement, pretty confused why only 2k hz is included but hey, at least we dont need to buy a seperate dongle, 4 gram lighter is always welcomed, same shape and coating is always welcomed, but man the skates are ever so awful, at least its still going to be better than something like viper v2 pro which feels awful after 4 months of usage
I disagree I have both v2 and this one I retuned this one tried Logitech and didn’t feel right. The side buttons feel better on the v2 and the slides are better on the v2. I’m not a fan of the razer company but it’s better than the Logitech mouse. Logitech dropped the ball on this mouse sadly I was hoping to jump to them and stay away from razer but atm is a no with their mouse
wished they give these features to other shapes as well...😢
@@michael21-ou2yt yeah Logitech has a lot of potential to make the best mouses but lack motivation or something along those lines
well shape is totally subjective, I dont like my v2 pro, you might love it, its toally subjective.
I like the shape of superlight more as I prefer a back hump on the mouse to provide me more moving power as compared to viper fingertip grip favorable design (otherwise the v2 pro is decent but not great at all, the buttons have creaks, insane post travel, scroll is awful, side buttons are decent, mouse feets are honestly disappointing, software is like always doesnt work many times but when it works it works, battery life is way lesser than superlight 1 probably due to optical switch, the only good thing about v2 pro is probably the shape for some people and the optical switch and capability of running 4000hz with hyperpoling dongle which IS NOT INCLUDED)
@@x93Vanquish
@@PannyLanny yeah the dongle I had to buy separately sadly 30 dollars. To me the buttons feel great shape wise I do prefer gpx battery mine now drains more due to 4K hrtz dongle. Side buttons feel better on V2 than the gpx software I prefer anything that’s not synapse easily. The slides feel to me better on the V2 but I wouldn’t mind replacing either mouse with new ones or a different brand. Main let down of this mouse was nothing really changed but some tweaks and they are charging the same as the first gpx. If not the gpx2 would’ve easily blew most mouses out of the water being top 1 but I know EA pros will still use it since it’s a fan favorite in the EA industry
I don't mind they didn't change the shape or did major upgrades/changes on the mouse, its their most succesful mouse if not top 3. If they change too much, then people would be complaining that why they deviate from the original concept that was succesfull etc, its impossible to please everyone. If something works, why change it (i mean the mouse shape).
finally, I was waiting for your video. :D
Just to add here in the UK the Superlight is £129 and the Superlight2 is £149...would just buying the superlight2 be the right idea... when visiting store they only had a deathadder out and it felt a little short in the hand. Don't think it was the V3 pro...it's UK and not really a specialist store so not great place to check out pc kits
gpx 1.3 goes crazy. Definitely upgrading from my gpx
my superlight is better and weighs 56g 😎 here is the recipe:
- Logitech G Pro X Superlight (Red)
mods
- SoSpacer Grips V3 (White)
- Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot mouse switch, TTC Gold Encoder
- Kailh Blue Side mouse switch
- "TJExclusives" 3d printed weight reduced base
- Tiger Ice Skates

Like I said in a Reddit post, the new batches of the GPX 1 have heavier clicks than a batch from 2-3 years ago. I would assume the clicks from the newer batches would be somewhat similar to the GPX 2 and if that’s the case, people be over exaggerating on yt 😂
I've got both and it's a noticeable difference (Original GPX, and a newer red one, and a GPX2) - I actually prefer the heavier clicks because I'm an idiot and I click by accident sometimes in games
@@thebleakiCan you tell me which ones more heavier?
GPX2 > GPX1 newer batch
I asume? 😊
now they need to upgrade and release new g703 , wish they could add bluetooth 5.2 and an extra pair of skates with every new mice launch and razer should also do that , overall a good upgrade for the gpx with internal upgrades , logi needs to release a new mousepad to compete with zowie , steelseries and release mice successor for g402, g102 , g305,g402 which had terrible double click issues ,
wtf is logi doing with these slow releases , i think the ceo is sleeping and the management is brain drained
I want to take a second to say that I love that dog🤣
Never thought I'd see the day
Made my own endgame setup with the powerplay mat, used some corkboard and a layer of thin cardboard to extend the size and am rocking a artisan zero pad on it with my modded g pro superlight.
I’m considering between the new pulsar x2v2 and the gpx2 which would you recommend?
My side buttons have no noticeable pre travel at all. Feels far better from the GPX.
so they did upgrade the side buttons on the gpx 2?
Very high quality overview of this mouse thanks for making this video
you can cover your mic with a sock to stop the pops and clicks from happening also too, figured youd add something on top of it, but it's been years and you havent. might make these vids even more shockingly high quality!!!
what? a lot of people use power play.. using one right now and it beats using any type of usb.. its one of the best things Logi G has created. other companies tried to copy it but doesnt even compare.. as for the skates i use the sapphire skates and in my opinion i think they are the best skates i ever have used.. u can keep transfering them from mouse to mouse with the included 3m tape and they are virtually indestructable.
I was really surprised with the clicks too after all these other reviewers were mentioning that they were unusable heavy
They might sell a 4k dongle later if they can't add it later the the out of the box dongle with a firmware update. Also it doesn't make sense to me that the wired polling rate can't be 2000 too.
They should really go 8k because mice like the DeathAdder V2 that cost half as much and has it. Also Windows 11 doesn't have issues with it.
How much percentage is the improvement, from 0-100%
i wonder if it's even an improvement, they changed the feet for no reason so now you have no compatible aftermarket options
1%
Better switches, 3g lighter and now now USB c instead of micro. Overall it'd saying its a solid 20% better.

Man you’re great at stringing together sentences and creating logic gracefully about the things you talk about. Great video and I would actually watch longer videos of you just talkin about stuff if you feel inclined to do so.
Still waiting to get my hands on these but I wished they had made the the super light 2 a tad bigger…
I have big hands too and haven’t had any serious issues with it. Not gonna lie, the glorious model d feels best in my hands but I ripped a trace out of mine and have to order a new one
Should i upgrade to Superlight 2? RIght now using Superlight 1 almost 2 years
difference between atlantis mini 4k vs mini pro?
Best wireless mouse right now?
wheres the red version 😮 cant find it anywhere for the superlight 2 sadly
What mousepad is that :O
thank you man i appreciate you
Logitech starting to behave like Apple of mice
razer on the table:
Logitech release a gold mine. Logitech call it a day. Logitech release a few variations and then a billion years later reopen their gold mine and dig an inch deeper. Bravo.
The new skate design is just a dick move to prevent people from using gpx skates already available in the market
So for fast edits the left and right click will be good? My old GPX broke and I don't want to get the GPX 2 instead of the GPX and be disappointed
From logitech coming into the market with the original gpx setting a standard for years to come, to releasing a mouse which is subpar to a razer release of almost 2 years ago, what a downward trend.
subscribed for cat and w overall review.
I wonder what SteelSeries is cooking in terms of mice( if anything ).
has the coating changed at all? I know the white has a history of yellowing
its not much of an upgrade, but i went ahead and picked one up anyway cause ive had my GPX since it came out, and its starting to spin out from time to time lol. 2k hz and no spinout is a worthwhile trade up.
so glad i bought the finalmouse
How would you rank the GPX2 vs Pulsar X2H vs Lamzu Atlantis 2? Not a viper person because I don't like how flat it is.
since I have both the og and v2 I dont see the point to continue using the OG if I enjoy more the clicks and sensor on the V2, I do hope they realease a 4k dongle at least and a GPX signature edition made of carbon fiber to make it even lighter, but thats probably too much to asks.
So can you confirm that the skates/feet from GPX1 are not compatible with the GPX2? Cause this completely sucks. I have a ton of mouse skates for the GPX1. If this does not work and with the lack of true updates for GPX2 then I will skip it.
Huh? You can bind the scroll wheel up/down to do something? My GHub doesnt allow my GPX to do it and its my biggest problem with the mouse.
Can you check if the bases are interchangeable? As in, have they retooled the screw holes just to be annoying?
Hello Boardzy, I used to have the old version of the G Pro X Superlight, and there was this problem of yellowing of where you fingers are around only 2 months of usage (apparently it happened to mine, and there was a lot of complaints too online). Please update/reply to this comment if it does happen in the future, thank you.
Mine did the the same
Around the back. They sell felt full shell grips now. Gonna give them a go
I hate the tactile feeling with the new Superlight 2 .. I'm not going to be able to adjust to that and still enjoy myself.
It requires too much force compared to the OG.
Christmas has just gotten expensive for me :(
Do you pledge your mousepad, shit seems fast
As much as I like this mouse, I hate that the finish on mine started wearing off within the first 6 months... super annoying. And thanks for USB C? ...finally? I stopped using powerplay because it stopped working...and started making an odd electronic hum in my headphones when it was charging; super annoying. Also just had to change the skate just enough to irritate peeps who stocked up on those after market glass skates? Super annoying... I'm noticing a trend. lol I got half a mind to go back to using a razer... no joke.
YIPPPIEEEEE its finally out!
For anyone wondering. There’s an extra skate in the box (the circular one that looks like it’s been replaced) and also grips for the mouse.
Does the Superlight 2 still support a charging station? Looks like it underneath.
When will this be available in India?
hopefully this makes the OG superlight super-cheap
yeah the superlight 2 is basically the superlight 1 but with a 2% improvement, still i have some complaint for the superlight and the second version and that is it doesn't have the side button on the right side for some reason (probably cuz most people put their mouse in the right side so logitech just remove it entirely for weight saving)
Same bad side buttons are deal breaker to me.
Me too bro. I would honestly buy another mouse for the side buttons to be less mushy
Your thoughts had been more honest if Logitech had sent you the mouse for free instead? What a weird thing to say.
how is the superlight still a t a 110$, i bought it 2 years ago on german amazon for 95€
the stock glides are the best one! will buy the hole new mouse to be able to use the stock ones after trying so many "popular" aftermarket glides! they are horrible and not made for FPS games where u need to be able to control your aim! they are all are too fast in comparing with the stock ones
Been waiting for this king 👌 edit: wonder if the superlight 1 weight reduction bottom plate will work with the sl2?
Probably not because I think they moved where the screws go (that’s why the bottom skate is different)
@@JohnDoe-dt1sr that's true, I didn't even think about that tbh! That's a shame, would have been an easy mod
Did they change the middle mouse click down to optical? I've broken the middle mousedown click on 3x superlights all of which happened in warranty at least.
this or viper v2 help me decide
Good review my man
I guess "Moderately-Light-Bordering-On-Quite-Sizeable-In-The-Current-Market" wasn't as catchy
Yeah..not really worthy an upgrade but the pink one looks FIRE ngl
G703 Superlight waiting room
is there any actual mods for the super light side mouse buttons??
Which one should be used between optical only and hybrid ?
Unpopular opinion: this whole "update" is just trying to answer Razer Viper V2 Pro.
It was totally unnecessary, because the shape of the two are so different this minor change won't suddenly make anyone change their preferred mouse or choice to this one.
Logitech not sending u a mouse for review is wild !!
