I still quote lines from Stir Crazy even now and my kids hear me sing Birmingham Jail regularly even if it's not word perfect....Great film that's lives on through generations.
I always thought Gene Wilder and Richard Prior had really good chemistry.
Probably why they made so many movies together
In absolute tears 🤣😭 on this scene. One of all time favorites. Love them both
When I watched this movie with my dad I will NEVER forget how he busted out laughing when they lite the match off the dude's chest LOL
Seriously 😒 I think the Blackman in the blue shirt 👕 does an amazing acting job. Going from rage 😤 to pure fear after he hits the big man was very well played. I am sure there are plenty of positive comments about Pryor and Wilder but sometimes it’s the other side actors that really do a job well done making a movie like this such a classic.
At 4:13 the "bully" even loses it and laughs! When Pryor said everyone is his family was short and that his little brother was so short they couldn't even see him ..hell I lost it ! lmao !!!1
I was born in the 90s.. But I enjoy old comedies like these. Something about them make me feel happy.
My dad recommended me most of these Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor movies and he didn't understand English, but laughed at every funny moment of them🤭
Everyone should see this comedy. One of the best ever.
Hilarious! Richard Pryor’s all-time funniest scenes. 😂
