- My cover/arrangement for "Good Good Father" for 2 guitars. Used the Housefires song flow. If you don't or cant do the slide you could easily just repeat the first chorus part for guitar 2 but I think it really adds something nice and is and easy slide part.
Guitars: MIJ telecaster and duesenberg starplayer tv
Amp: Vox TB18
Pedals:
Guitar 1 - EQD palisades, strymon el capistan
Guitar 2- xotic SP compressor, JHS morning glory, strymon timeline, strymon bigsky
Recorded into ableton with a focusrite scarlet.
I realized after watching this that in my own approach to covering this I am using the trem ala Jeff Beck to 'slide' into the first note then picking the rest of the sequence - kind of like combining the two guitars. Not quite as dramatic as the slide but seems to get the job done. Nice job guys. I approach the last part of the song very much like guitar 1.
I realize it isn't a tutorial. great cover. and it helped me a lot.
por fin un video :) , genial , tus covers son de los mejores de youtube ;) god bless you!
I love the sound of that slide :)
Great job. Love this and thx for the jump start
Perfect. Thank you so much
dude amazing
Nice cover! Thank you very much.
Nice cover! Looks like the Rook pushed the Timmy of your pedalboard?
And what is the name of the gold/white pedal you use with the Telecaster?
+Jason Baak Yeah, I was digging the rook but my Morning Glory still sees most of the action. The Gold pedal is a earthquaker devices palisades, a tube screamer variant.
+jllogan1 Cool, thanks!
hey what key?
Should be obvious from the capo position. Capo second fret, indicates A.
No necessarily obvious. You're assuming he's using standard guitar tuning. Some of us use alternate tunings.
@@tonymcalister9878 Not obvious as you can use capo 2 to go up a tone from any key. but yes, in this case it is key of A
As Jason said, great cover. This isn't a tutorial.
For future reference, indicate what key you are in and which chord progression. Should only take a few time to write it on the description
You pay him bro?
Provide tabs and standard notation, please. Also, please repeat video but in the key of B.
Just shift capo and every note/chord up 2 frets
