The directories are Yang and Yin, so Yang’s voxel representation is a voyaging ship and Yin’s is a cave. These representations correspond well to the descriptions of Yin and Yang on Wikipedia. I used the most abstract of folder names here just to prototype the idea from a more artistic perspective.. I imagine people could design their own voxel based representations of their folders and files in a project. Or they use a library of 3d meshes. I might try to inference a good 3d mesh from a library for each file based on name.
