Here is finished metal car project that I worked on for longer time.
It's modified JJRC Q61 kit to most of metal upgrades that I found.
Not all upgrades work good and almost all need car modification to work.
Above You will find links to parts that I used.
Wow, that is one nice looking scale RC truck. Love all the upgrades you have done. Big thumbs up!
THX for nice words :)
The servo on my rc used to behave like that whenever I turned the gyroscope feature on, on my dumbo rc receiver, but it behaved normal while off. I also have the same front bumper in silver colour, instead of cutting the fenders, I fitted it upside down, it doesn't lool bad, but it eats up a bit of ground clearance. My gearbox is also like this one, I also had to cut in the middle of the cab to make it fit. But now there is a different design of that gearbox available in the market which fit easily without the need to cut the body. I now have that gearbox in my other rc, the jjrc q65 jeep.
Your truck is now looking very nice! How about custom paintjob and a running video!!!
On Dumbo RC You can use potentiometer to reduce gyroscope sensitivity and that should fix that problem, just set it to 50%
I did not think about putting it upside down, noce idea :)
I don't like to do painting, signs and logos on it are terrible but if I paint it it will look worst :D
Nice vidéo thanks 👍
Great explanation!
I've never seen a servo do that before! 😲👍
I seen it few times, big servo on My Mercedes in 1/5 scale did the same and sew servo fixed that
Amazing
VERY GOOD, BRASIL OK
O~wow full metal is so very good👍😘
The screws for the front servo mounts are 2.5mm thread. I used these to make mine right. He is right the screws supplied with mine were too short and wrong size.
cool
THX :) I replaced camera mount so next movies will not shake so much
now we are member.
Can the metal bumper fit on Q64? I pretty sure it doesn’t but I want to make sure.
About the servo mounter. Where do I put the switch to turn on the car.
There is original slot for that and also You get that switch.
Just cut power cable and solder to 2 pins and ready
@@Adrian202 is the slot on the mount? And if there is, I don’t see any holes to screw the switch into.
@@tekayvoong5545 Slot is next to steering center hole under front parts of car and You get switch n box
Why does it make that loud squealing sound? Great truck by the way oh, I'm going to do almost exactly the same thing to my Q 61
