  • Farmers are required to manage acres of farmland at a time, and have recently begun to tap into aerial technology to do so efficiently and sustainably. DJI MG-1S revolutionizes the way in which farmers can utilize drones to manage and take care of their crops.
    In this video, three individuals in the agricultural drone industry speak of their experiences with DJI's MG-1S and tell us why it stands out amongst the UAV choices when considering factors of precision, effectiveness, intuitiveness, ease of use, safety, build and more.

      + RocketLR quite literally..You can use your car to do the same things like what you mentioned. Actually, 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year by cars, on average 3,287 deaths a day. How many people are killed by consumer drones? Zero.

    I know that India and China are so close to a war right now but this can't stop me appreciating what DJI has achieved and how they've helped farmers with done tech. Their work is inspiring a new generation of drone pilots like me. Thank you DJI and I hope our governments can find a solution to our border contentions and avoid a war. I am also a fan and user of Xiro drones, I hope that company can be big someday and compete with DJI in China.

    • @billyboy8888
      @billyboy8888 8 лет назад +46

      probably half a year. farmers in some areas of china are making pretty decent livings. The region shown in the video is Hainan, think of it as China's Mallorca or Florida, the land price there is crazy. some of those farmers may be low key millionaires from their land sales.
      plus, the people flying the drones are contractors, they are for hire pesticide spraying companies. they charge per area. so the actual cost to the farmers are not that high.

      @Rune L That's not all it can dispense. Fungicides, herbicides and pesticide materials. Believe it or not all the food you eat that comes from a store has been treated. Without these materials the worlds population would starve. Lets just say you buy nothing but non GMO organic food. And there is nothing wrong with that, its great. We all know its more expensive right? Now imagine the entire world consuming that supply. $20.00 for a carrot sound good? How about 30.00 for a can of soup? That's the first point. How about if not the drone dispensing these materials. Would you rather have a human in neck high foliage do it getting it all over him? Does that make it better? Any which way you cut it, those fields are going to be treated one way or another. That farmer will not let his crop get eaten up by a bug, fungus or choked out by an invasive weed.

    Do you guys have a drone that can take me to work? Shit just add some straps to this and a compartment for my items and it's a go. Why keep driving this bulky car and wasting time in traffic?🤔

    FYI guys; According to their numbers you would get about 1 - 1.5 acres spraying ( about 1/2 hectare ) per flight (10 - 15 minute battery life. ). Then you'd have to recharge or switch out the batteries and refill the tank. So you'd need lots of extra batteries. The drone goes for about $4,600 on ebay. IDK if a person could build one cheaper maybe?

    It's great the idea, today we can use the drone to do everything, in addition it does the job carefully, well done!

  • @Samlidrones

    Samli drones can be used for agriculture spraying, but they are not the best option for this application. Samli drones are typically small and lightweight, which means that they can only carry a small amount of payload. This limits the amount of pesticide that they can carry, which can reduce their effectiveness

    pretty soon they will have miniature versions of this drone that flies down hospital corridors and finds the maternity Ward and sprays the babies. That is more efficient chemical exposure and shows the limitless future humans have on this planet.
