Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to have a camera, and with this drone you get a dream camera, a flying camera on a par with Hollywood cameras. Thank you so much DJI on this drone, unfortunately, I can't afford it for the next 4-5 years, but I'm using the Mini 2, and I'm really thrilled, and I can't even imagine how thrilled I will be with this drone

It's a consumer device meant for vlogger moms who don't know anything about cameras that livestream meal prepping chicken for 7 meals a week. Notice how most of the GoPro 10 promo video isn't even footage.They also don't mention dynamic range, sensor size, or anything relevant to actual professionals. They also throttled their app last I used my 6 with a update not allowing you to change camera settings, only auto, unless you do it on the physical camera. Garbage. I watched theMavic3 promo video and Gopro 10 video in 4K on a 31.1" HP Dreamcolor monitor and there is literally no contest. This is the difference between prosumer equipment and consumer. You are paying that premium for a reason. The GoPro 10 STILL looks like footage from a iPhone 8, and I'd rather fly that on a drone. At least I can read Reddit when I take a shit with the phone. The Mavic3 looks like a very impressive step up from the 2 which I have, and have felt disappointed in the quality. Hopefully the footage you can get as a user is as impressive. I always suspected in the past DJI overclocked their promo cameras to get higher bit rates, or have wizards coloring it, cause their footage always looks better than what I've been able to reproduce or have seen others do. Then again I'm not filming in the most beautiful places in the world, at the most perfect times of day, and getting paid to do it. I'll totally take that job though DJI if it's available. DP here with 12 years experience! Edit -- Scrubbing through RUclips reviewers, the footage isn't nearly as good. Could be user error, I definitely think somee reviewers aren't that good cinematographers to begin with, just entertaining. But it'd be nice if DJI shared their camera settings, or technical info like native iso, dynamic range shifts as you increase/decrease ISO, or what stop is sharpest with the lens. I think DJI cameras/codecs don't respond like other full sized cameras, so we're shooting blind a lot of the time. Anyways, cool video DJI, I'm going to bed.

It still sucks. The Mavic 3 will crash into objects it shouldn't be crashing into. Skydio is the leader in obstacle avoidance and active tracking. Too bad their drone is impossible to fly manually.

@@Monkehrawrrr Yes that’s true but I don’t do that. I guess my point is that Transport Canada aren’t hiding behind every tree looking for violators. I don’t fly commercially, I won’t register my drone, recreation only and I stay away from people as much as possible. One of the things I’ve noticed about many quad pilots is they like an audience (not cool). Stay under 150m and once you’re 50m+ the quad is pretty much invisible even if you think you can hear something. My only objective is to get great shots or video for personal use…you just gotta be smart and safe about it. It’s idiots like the 4-5 guys that got busted buzzing the rush hour traffic at the Alex Fraser Bridge that ruin it for everybody.
DJI is probably the only company that creates stuff that last so long with great features. I still had mavic pro crash it on so many occasion with even 40foot drop and still alive. Also Ronin S still sturdy as hell. If one day they enter the camera industry at consumer basis it would be lit.

Please have in mind that that time is just a reference - wind speeds on different altitudes have a huge impact on flying time. If you fly over water... never, never, EVER trust the manufacturer´s claim - i always fly about 35% (out of 100% at take-off) of the battery over water and always return home no matter what - that already saved my drone a few times...
Amazing technology. I have spent more than £20K in drone technology, both as in DIY and off the shelf. Still have a complete Inspire 2 with the X7 camera and lenses. The reality is that you cannot fly anywhere these days. Regulations are so tough, that it just kills this hobby.
Same here in Canada. You can’t fly in any parks, beaches, over any people, within 1000 ft of any wildlife or sealife…its pretty ridiculous. I feel like all governments think we are just up to something bad when we fly our drones! Hey I’m just out there to get some cool video!

Honestly take my money and do it fast. One of the most impressive camera gear demo’s I’ve ever seen in my entire life. & that’s from someone that has owned Mavic Pro’s and a Mavic 2 for years.
I think the Ronin 4D is a more impressive leap forward than the Mavic 3. Yeah it's got some neat features, but it's very much just a generational improvement vs the Ronin's revolutionary approach.

I saw one breakdown that outlined I think 3 "revolutionary" changes in the camera, but the big one for me (I'm more into photography than cinematography) is the LIDAR focus assist, and being able to instantly adjust your focus with a top-down view. No more guessing if you have to focus in/out - just a top down view of what you're pointing at with an indicator that shows where your focus plane is, and a simple control that lets you instantly refocus on the desired object. 🤯

@@peter.dolkens maybe I don’t really understand the 4D tech all that well but it kind of seemed like an impractical piece of tech. I definitely might not have that opinion if I got my hands on it myself.
@@ZFK_VISUALS Pretty much every cinematographer I've seen is in love with it.
I saw one breakdown that outlined I think 3 "revolutionary" changes in the camera, but the big one for me (I'm more into photography than cinematography) is the LIDAR focus assist, and being able to instantly adjust your focus with a top-down view.
No more guessing if you have to focus in/out - just a top down view of what you're pointing at with an indicator that shows where your focus plane is, and a simple control that lets you instantly refocus on the desired object.

@@peter.dolkens yeah no I love that for sure. Maybe I’m just old school (new school under age 25). Or maybe I don’t like the idea of no interchangeable lenses. I play both sides of the industry with still and motion. I’d love to get my hands on the 4D just to give it a shot.

Jeez these shots are so slick! I got a DJI FPV drone combo last month. Although both are different category, these breathtaking visuals with that 4/3" sensor makes me crave for the Mavic 3. I hope DJI updates the FPV drone with atleast a 1 inch camera sensor.
