- Here's the review of the Marloe Solent Timer Oceanic. This is the first watch I have checked out from them. They are a British brand, more specifically Scottish.

I really like this watch. The dual side AR coatings are greatly reducing the reflections of the sapphire crystal such that the dial is extremely legible. I suspect that the AR coatings are at least dual layer if not multi-layer AR coatings. The brown Horeen leather strap is lovely. I liberally rub leather lotion onto stiff leather watch straps and leather belts and then I let the item sit overnight. Then the following morning, I use a cloth to wipe off any leather lotion which was not absorbed overnight by the leather. Generally, the result is that the initial stiffness is reduced by half or even more. For those of you who do not know, Horeen leather does not develop deep creases or cracks if properly cared for, unlike other types of leather.
The AR is really good on this.

Its a really nice watch but Marloe prices increased a lot for non uk residents.
Some watches went up close to 100 euros in the last year
For example you says its 501euros on the horween leather strap, its 575!
The system they use to included the taxes with the price seems to be bugged.

Very nice watch, love the double sided AR application but I'd prefer AR on the underside of the crystal because I'm reminded of my old eyeglasses with scratches on their AR coating which is a pain in the ass.
Have you had a problem with scratching the AR on watches before as well then?

That looks great. Think the crown action on the inner bezel should be fixed. Shame there is no bracelet. Watck looks very nice though. Cheers!!!
It is quite a looker. The inner rotating bezel action is fine. You just don't need to press it down hard when screwing it back in.
So, out of the strap options available which do you like the best then?
