Hallo. Ich spreche nur Englisch, nicht Deutsch, Entschuldigung I stumbled upon this channel on RUclips and I thought it rather curious, it's not something I had seen before. I know well of a strong band culture within Germany, especially relating to events such as the Schutzenfest, many of which take inspiration from the historical military traditions of the Germanic world. As an Englishman myself it is both charming as well as a little confusing to see this band exist. I respectfully wished to know how it came to be, why it exists and why do you seek to replicate the British 'fashion' of a band? Vielen danke!
Thank you very much for your post. Our band was looking for a theme tune or an opening march. We found "The British Grenadier". From there we found our great love and passion for British marching music and the military drill of the Guards band. Out of respect for the soldiers, however, we opted for a blue color for our tunics, which we otherwise felt were 1:1 true to the original. For us it is not a disguise, but we live and love this British tradition. With deep affection we greet you warmly from Germany
@@BoGG-Kapellen Thank you for your response, I find your band as well as the thousands of others across Germany to be very interesting which brings a lot of life to your local communities and keeps traditions going. I hope that the band continues to be successful and thank you for sharing these videos.
