Any stage 1 s4 is doing sub 12 secs 1/4 mile and if it isn’t then somethings wrong with your car. Sam, they don't need to be 5 minutes or less, you could easily make a longer video if you use a best 2 out of 3 format similar to CarWow. Just need to edit out the stuff where you tell them all the pre race instructions.
The M340i took those two to the Gap store at the Gapplebee mall in the city of Gappleton which is in the country of Gaples and bought them Gapperoni pizza with a little extra Gapplesauce on the side.
Came out the other end still gappling too.

@@gogz1981 Depends on the tune, I think the 500hp/525tq is to the wheels, it sounds more realistic than to the crank. The 45 Amg definitely isn’t making 550 lb-ft of torque, maybe it’s in newton meters.
Either way there is a big difference in power

Sam. Please race that BMW against the Lap3 Tuned Stinger you had on several weeks back. I think they lost about the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
So I have a 2015 S4 dual pulley and I’m 0-60 3.2-3.4 and on 93 11.50s all day 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
That is the worlds slowest B8 S4. With such modifications that should be at the very least a mid 11 sec car. My brothers APR tune only S4 did a 12.1 at 113 mph. Love the M340 as always impressive

Exactly. Drop the Unitronic and go 034. I knew the BMW was going to win because the Audi would need a ported blower to match a turbo car, but I didn't expect the Audi to be so bad. That time was pretty much stock. It doesn't have 450 ft lbs of torque either.

Mod for mod the m340i is going to be clear. My prediction before watching is the cla45 will have a good launch but lose out on the top end. The s4 if stock turbo will struggle on the top end as well against the m340i if it's tuned.
The 'race' will be btw the s4 and the cla which the s4 should win mod for mod. now if any of them are turbo upgrades with tuning then it's a different story.

E30 vs 94 octane was the difference. A dual pulley B8 S4 typically is quicker than a FBO 340i. This is from someone that's owned BMW's S54/N54 and a B8 S4. The S4's on E60 will beat the 340i on a similar custom E60 tune.
@@Tracked350Z yeah would have been nice to see them both with good fueling. But if the tune doesn't take advantage of the additional fueling then it's also not that important.
A dual pulley on e60 would be moving for sure. Would love to see what kind of Times they put down.

Most cars on the street have good tuning capabilities the Japanese (JDM) being the first with much more availability of parts followed by the Germans, the Korean brands are not touching those 2 in the tuning segment the B58 engine is more turner friendly than that of that kia and don't forget how good bmw transmissions are
@@TariqG416 it's because a stinger had to be tuned to compete nothing else, we are talking stock for stock and the stinger seems to be one of the most overhyped car i really don't see the hype about it though it's a little quick but for that price I will consider a used c63 from 2012, stock for stock a stinger ain't touching that car

It's not just the b58 to be honest. It's the whole package. A 340i with a tune and do is nowhere as good.
But with an upgraded turbo the 340i is wild.
No doubt the b58 is strong but I needs the supporting mods to be good as well.
An m340i on any Eblend is making more like almost 500 to the wheels lol. Everyone knows how potent these b58’s are by now. There’s no use in underrating the numbers.

This kind of race doesn’t make sense, the big factor is the E-Mix. Whoever have an ethanol tune car knows what I’m talking about. All 3 cars should be tested again on 93oct. I know the m340 would still win, but it would make the race more interesting.

Your power figures on cla45 are wrong. A stage 2 tune won't get more than 430hp. Who's tuned it and said 483 has lied. Also its not an s, not even a facelift, from the year production listed it's first gen cla45
Great line up Sam 63 anything tuned move, weight is an advantage off the line and at a roll they disappear well past 200 including G wagons. Renntech been tuning for decades and built some of the wickedest Benz from the south to the north.

I have a 2020 M340i with similar mods and it is pretty quick, but I had a 2012 S4 with the exact tune and mods as the one in the video, and I was able to run mid 3's consistently and as low as 3.3 on occasion. So the race should have been a lot closer. I bet the S4 owner has got an issue he's not aware of yet.

So u bring a relatively new BMW M340 (not even a regular 340 lol) and put it up against a B8 Audi which is much slower then the turbo charged B9 and 9.5 and is over a decade old and then top it of with a 4 cylinder CLA instead of a V6 turbo C43 AMG which is the proper comparison. Who brainstorms your comparison content ?! lol

So the BMW is not only the latest of the lot but also the most tuned with 500BHP, 525 LB-FT...the Audi stood no chance. The advantage will always be stacked in favor of the car with more power, latest launch system. A line up of 2020 cars would've been a more objective and less lopsided race, this was always going to yield a result that's unbalanced
