I'm almost addicted to your channel. Iv watched all of your videos and every morning wait for a new one. I don't repair and don't have anything to do with board repair but love the way you diagnose the problems and fix the boards issues. I watched other channels but your soldering skills are way ahead of many of them. Thumbs Up. 👍
This is a nice fix and never gets old. I always see these type of solder connectors as a test and refresh of ones soldering skills. In your example very well demonstrated. Customer will be pleased. Gets a 👍🏻 from me.
Salaam and jazakallah khairan for this can you use the low melt solder to connect flex cable to board or do need to remove low melt solder and use normal leaded solder 60/40? If there is no low melt solder could you use hot air to remove cable. Hope your getting on well with the store expansion... All the best
Fascinating stuff thanks. Can I ask a question? I cannot disconnect my battery on my iPad Pro due to jumpers so is it safe to replace the LCD without disconnecting the battery if I let it go completely flat? Thanks
Hi there When I was removing charger cable from motherboard board some of the pads was missed charger port. Do you have any suggestions for that issues ipad air 2 please just let me know
I love your work.....and i am from india your work inspires me to be a Mechanic i want to learn something from you but i can't contact you i have an asus x553m laptop and when i plug in to the motherboard led light blinks and fan doesn't spin normally....what can be problem please help me 😞😞😞
Probably best to make notes in front of them and test out major functionality. Make a checklist and go through it with them, have them sign it. That way you have proof of what was and wasn't working. Like does screen work, ports, buttons, any noticeable scratches, and dents...etc
@@mahmoudnadi1992 This is fine when you have store or customer is local so he can bring stuff but when someone sends you stuff for repair via some courier service and you unpack it and see the mess :) I haven't had problems so far thos. Whats most annoying to me is when someone sends stuff for repair and say "can you first tell me how much would it cost and I'll think if it's worth repairing"!!! I have to find the problem and then attempt to repair it so I would be 100% sure that THAT was a problem indeed and there are no other issues because if there are other problems it would cost more to repair and I have to find second-third... problem as well ... So basically I already repaired it and if customer says "well it's not really worth it" then I did the job for nothing .

What if customer says "the screen was fine when I sent it to you, you broke it!"
That's always my fear everytime i have to tell a customer about another problem that he didn't know about. Luckily they're usually nice
