I've been playing guitar for a few years, but recently picked up a Uke because I wanted to learn how to sing and play at the same time and figured it might be a bit easier with a Uke than with a guitar. Your video has gotten me to the point where I can sing and play this at the same time. My first song where I can actually do this. You rock, thank you so much for this tutorial!

This was a really good way for a beginner like me to play a song with picking . Most of the songs I've seen with picking there was no way I could even see what was going on.
One of the other replies said you should have more subscribers and there right keep at it. Sooner or later people will pick up on your channel. Thanks for the video.

This is the first song I played on my uke and it was great , I really loved it cause it has very easy strumming pattern and chords ! as well as that you sing beautifully your voice is like heaven .........You are the best .

im left handed but just realize that you cant strum with your left hand because the strings are backwards and it will sound out of wack lol

Totally get you.. When I first started learning I changed all the strings so that I could play, but I found it very annoying since I had to bring my own guitar/uke if I ever wanted to play

Just started crying cause these lyrics make me imagine a world where the singer serenades their love with this song every night while working their life away in another country to give them the life they wanted. But the truth is that "Delilah" has passed away years ago and they're still clinging onto the life they wish they had.

I played this song for two different auditions and did amazing! Ty sosososo much!
The way i do it is
pluck 3rd string with thumb and then 2nd string with thumb again at the same time as 1st string with first finger
it's more comfortable for me that way
also I realised you can always change up the chords to make it easier for yourself. currently I'm struggling to switch enough quickly between C and Em

I’m a little confused when you play an A minor with plucking do you change ur plucking to the 4th string (with thumb) and 3rd and 2nd (with first finger and second finger) ?
It’s the three bottom strings you thumb on the one closest to you and your pointer finger on the one below your thumb and your middle finger on the string farthest from you you pluck your thumb and right after pluck the other two at the same time

Why not move the plucking pattern down a string when you go to the Am and F? Then back down once you get to the G.
When you do the a minor chord, does your left hand finger need to be on the top string of it never gets plucked?

One friendly tip: It would be easier if you introduce the chords at the beginning as they progress in the song. Like put them all next to each other on the screen.
