Soo excited, can’t wait for the episode to air in Melbourne..Ncuti embodied the Doctor in Church on Ruby Road, which was brilliant & Millie Gibson’s perfect as the new companion.💙🥳🥳🇦🇺
It's always amazing how Dr Who manages yo take ut somewhere new with each Dr, yet it's still Dr Who. Ncuti and Millie are like a breath of fresh air. It really feels like a new reboot. I'm getting old, 52 now, so I'm starting to not quite understand the world 20-somethings inhabit. But I love that these 2 are absolutely in that world and giving Dr Who a new lease of life.
@@mattthesilent777REDActually they're not though. If stuff about the show triggers you I'd honestly recommend ignoring it. Lots of long time fans like myself still enjoy it, and there's new young fans also. I didn't like the Chibnall era very much, but not for reasons that many seem to bleat on about on RUclips. It remains to be seen how good the new era is, we simply haven't seen enough yet, but so far there has been more good than bad.
These two are SO MUCH more comfortable and natural on these interviews than the awkward weird ones on American media such as American ABC and Good Morning America - have you guys seen them?
Gatwa looks OK as doctor hopefully series is good though gcuti comes across as a person who doesn't stick to one project for a long period of time I.e doesn't stick around for a length period of time probably already dine two series already and planning to leave soon as wants ti do other things So basically bring back David Tennant
Looking at the recent trailer it looks terrible. Gatwa is totally miscast. I can think of better black actors for the role but unfortunately RTD has lost his mind. Why have we only had 1 actor out of 6 who’s over 45 in the role in modern Who? So much for RTD’s inclusivity. Only apply for the role if you’re young and attractive from now on as the people at Bad Wolf are ageist.
We just had David Tennant in his 50s as the 14th Doctor. Granted, he had done it before, but if RTD were truly as ageist as you try to paint him as, he wouldn't have brought him back. Nor executive produced Tales of the TARDIS. It is entirely possible that Ncuti Gatwa was cast because of what he brings to the role. Not everything is about age. That seems to be the lens through which you choose to look at it.
@@Swenglish Tennant was brought back for the Anniversary although it should have been a celebration of 60 years not just the Tennant years. If he was starting out now he wouldn’t get the job. The Doctor used to be an unusual looking odd eccentric type who didn’t fit into human society but now it looks like it’s gone another way which doesn’t feel like the Doctor at all to me. RTD clearly living out his fantasies and using Gatwa to do it. Only 1 actor over 50 cast in modern Who out of 6 should tell you something.
@@mrdr0161 It tells us that showbiz is ageist and not all inclusive as RTD likes to pretend he is. When Peter Capaldi was cast the reaction against an older Doctor was very telling and considering this role used to be for unusual looking older eccentric actors it’s certainly lost its way.
I am so lucky to have seen Prince in concert in Manchester (Main Road) in 1990, and he even sang, 'Nothing Compares To You'. live. xx

Actually they are giving the show the kiss of zombieism to the show after it died in 2017

I'm 60 and I understand the world 20-somethings inhabit and I'm terrified about this Doctor Who
Loving the energy they have together, I think this will be like Series 5 vibes
If I could go back in time I would want to be front and center and see Queen at Live Aid.

I can’t wait to see them on screen!
You shouldn't, they are a bunch of phonies
Slightly superficial…but he is so beautiful 😊
Ryan Gosling, if he is a Doctor Who fan must be devastated at what they have done. I fully expect him to use that tshirt as a firelighter.
“…in front of hollywood’s finest” ncuti is finer than all of hollywood’s “finest” scuse you madam
Ncuti and Millie have so much chemistry!
I was going to spit all my chips out when Ncuti said he likes astrology, but then he said the Doctor's an Aquarius 😏...
He look like a nice person. I just hope that comment he made to the fans does not ruin him and get him fired because his Doctor looks promising.
Why would he be fired ?
Brilliant 🤗😊
He was literally asked straight up and gave an answer. He won't be fired, white guys on RUclips stopped liking dr who years ago and NEED YOU TO KNOW

Ncuti just doesn’t have the gravitas to play the Doctor, he doesn’t seem alien or mysterious in any way.
