- Welcome to my grand finale of Hermitcraft season 9 and completing my mega Minecraft theme park called Scarland. The massive Minecraft base build took nearly 2 years to build on the Hermitcraft server and in this episode, we finish the park. Scarland is my own inspired take on what Disneyland might look like in Minecraft with my own designs and ideas. I really hope you enjoyed it and see you in Hermitcraft season 10!

Scar, i think you should continue it in a creative world. Its probably best for your mental health and would allow you to maximize your creative without as much risk of burnout from having to gather resources all alone on the server. I think it make the videos more unique since we dont really get to see most of the hermits in their actual design process. It might make the videos feel more like bob rossy if you get what i mean

I would love to see him continue this - creative or survival world. I completely understand if he’d rather leave it in season 10, but he’s also talked so much about the plans he had for scarland and I’d love to see them come to fruition

I agree that creative may be better. We saw what could be done in survival, and it was an accomplishment. But I think to continue in survival (though I like it because of the creative confines) would add too much grind and difficulty that could take away from the creativity of it at this point.

To understand just how much Scar has put into this, remember his “starter base”, the MASSIVE Elven Kingdom, his HotGuy Shops, his games, the villager trading hall and everything else that he didn’t cover here, this man has given a lot to this season.

However long it takes, I know we all would love to see the completion of your vision for Scarland. While I think doing it in survival would be a fun and challenging achievement, you should do it in whatever way inspires you to do it, whether that is survival, creative, or even with mods like Create to bring your vision of the rides to life if you wanted. I think I can safely speak for all of the viewers when I say that we just want to see you complete it in whatever format you want to do it.

Absolutely agree. I think creative mode or with create mod would be amazing. I know we all enjoy a good grind, but trying to balance this project with whatever is in store in season 10 seems like a lot. I think it’s safe to say we want see what Scars vision was for the park, and I don’t care if he uses creative mode to achieve that.

My biggest condolences about Queen Jellie, Scar. She seemed like the sweetest tiny little gremlin of a creature that has walked this earth and she will be remembered. Her memory lives on both in Minecraft and real life. Stay strong and may she rest in peace!

I've seen a lot of hermitcraft ending episodes, but this is the first one that made me cry. Hearing that you'll continue scarland even after the season makes me so happy. Thank you Scar, for all the joy and strength you've given me throughout the years ❤

Thank you Scar. The perfect ending knowing that you will continue with this project. Either way is fine with me. Or your own download of Season 9 Using everyones farms that exist. Then you could possibly invite on your Patrons at a certain level to explore and experience Scarland for a day once built. It would be an event in itself. I would love to see scarland continued. Doesn’t matter the gamemode. Scarland, (and really Scar himself) have given me so much inspiration and motivation throughout this season, it feels almost hard to part with it all. But of course, zero pressure

I almost feel like he should import this into season 10 just to finish it. It’s too much of a masterpiece to leave unfinished.
Yeah, I feel the same way and Doc and Mumbo and Etho and Grian and Jev and Impulse and Gem and all the other hermits who complained about not getting their base done. To be honest I don't understand why they are restarting now, 1.21 is due in about 6 months.

the grian cameo at 10:50 made me laugh, it was so outta nowhere especially with scar talking about the beautiful building. Scar I hope you go and finish this in creative mode, so it can be everything you dreamed of
He did hint multiple times that he is going to, at the very least finish the ride under the castle, also the TCG arena. I hope he does more though, I would love a full creative series, this is to good to leave behind imo.
I've always felt like creative mode is cheating, but since he won't be able to buy supplies from other hermits, survival mode might be impossible.
He was probably in Scarland. That warden that's been there since the beginning is still there.
I'd personally prefer he finish it in Survival. No project I've done in creative has ever matched the satisfaction I get from finishing a big project in survival and I want Scar to get maximum satisfaction.

Im at Disney World right now, and Ive been thinking of you the entire time. Life's been so crazy that I've barely watched Hermitcraft in the past year or so, but it's still amazing to see how far Scarland has come. I hope you're as proud of yourself as we all are of you :)

One of my favourite parts of season 9 is Scar looking at the empty unfinished building, turns around, and then back to a fully completed interior. Brings me so much joy every single time, feels genuinely like magic

i don't have any one specific favourite build in scarland, but i adore all the attention given to the places that visitors wouldn't normally see in a theme park. it's a factor in the builds that could easily be shrugged off as being unimportant, but your passion for every aspect of creating a theme park filled every nook and cranny you could manage with life and personality

I'm on the verge of tears. It was so beautiful watch you grow and Scarland grow. I bought a VR set just to be able to walk on the park. You are truly an Imagineer, and certainly the best of all. Thank you for bringing us all on the journey.

It's always such a bitter-sweet moment when these seasons end. This season in particular was so fun but I think that we are all excited to see what's to come. There's still more fun to be had :)

My favorite memory of building Scarland is when Doc made the perimeter PA system to audition to be your engineer and how you reacted to it throughout that episode lol. And then he didn't even get the job xD. The maintenance bay was simply inspired. I was a technician at a manufacturing company and it felt very much like my workspace.

I think my favorite part of scarland is the backstage area and the amount of detail you put into it. Watching scarland grow over the last 2 years has been a huge pleasure.
First thing in my mind when I learnt season 9 was ending was "Scar must be so sad" and I was pretty sad too to see Scarland go. I'm really glad you're planning on continuing it, it clearly is the best base of the season
Can I just say how much I appreciate the build transitions you do? It's something so small and almost overlooked, but you sell it so well. It genuinely feels like magic.
I have a few disabled friends, some of them in wheelchairs, some of them with tubes. Seeing them getting excited over being represented in a comfortable and nostalgic video game, and over seeing how you get treated just like everyone else on the server, and especially how you manage to bring a dream to life that you thought was stolen from you by your disabilities, and the hope you bring, makes me excited too. I've enjoyed your content for almost 2 years now, and as much enjoyement your content brought me, no enjoyement was greater than seeing my friends feel happy and hopeful, because of you. We love Scarland, and your building and creativity, and every single little joke and event, and we love hermitcraft.
You've saved our lives and made them better. You and your little minecraft builds will always have a little place in our scarred lives. From the bottom of our own scarred hearts, thank you so so much, Scar.
i think one of my favorite moments in all of season 9 was your reaction to seeing cleo’s armor stand art of the kid in the wheelchair. it’s a small thing, but it’s also so, so big.
Season nine felt so short, with decked out, scarland, and everything else, it was so much fun to be a part of
I feel the oposite, The easter egg hunt and the diamond block race feel like they happened a whole season ago. S9 to me was like 2½ seasons in 1

Scar, what you made here is beyond words. The fact that you could not complete it in the longest season ever is a testament to the amount of love and care that you poured into Scarland, making quality builds that took time and effort. Watching Joe's stream on the Last Day of Hermitcraft and seeing him finish his pinball machine with minutes to spare, made us in the chat theorise what you were doing in the last hour of HC S9, but whatever it was, it was worth it.
I would love for you to continue Scarland in a creative series. You could show us your process as you go, talking about your decisions. It would allow you to finish without hindering other video projects by worrying about collecting resources. But no matter what you do I'm sure it will be great! Thanks for all you put into your videos Scar!

Scar, I know you won't want to hear this but you can't use the red cross even to show thats the health clinic. It's actually a violation of the Geneva convention and the red cross has a habit of coming after people because of this. Just a heads up.

Watching the creation of Scarland since the first episode, I've always wondered if Scar has ever checked out the MCParks server, which is basically all the american disney parks, universal and busch gardens on a single server with working rides and special audio tracks to match the rides.

Scar, this was my first time watching a season of Hermitcraft, and to say you’ve inspired me is an understatement. I’m also dealing with a disability that has kept me from my dream job, but seeing you build the elven tree in those first episodes made me realize I could use Minecraft as a way to create art in a whole new dimension. You’ve inspired me to pursue treatment for pain that I’ve been living with for years, and you’ve inspired me to pursue streaming and making videos for RUclips! You’ve been such a source of strength to me just in the short time I’ve been watching, and I can’t wait to see what you do next! Thank you so much for everything, from one scared heart to another ❤❤❤

My favorite part of Scarland was when you explained how you used inspiration from a disney artist to create the trees and when you created the mountain! I also loved the part when you made that giant storage system, when you got other hermits to make little builds as workers, and when you got all those cute treats like the popcorn balloons and hats! It was so magical to see the creation of Scarland sincerely

I’m so happy you plan on doing more on scarland. I honestly don’t even care if it’s creative or survival, whatever makes it the most fun for you. I just want to see your final vision! I’ve really enjoyed watching this project so much. I’ve never been particularly interested in amusement parks, particularly Disneyland as it is just so expensive. But your passion for them honestly made me interested in the random facts you shared about them. I still have no intention to go to Disneyland, but for once I may actually do a world download because I really want to check out scarland!
I've never been to any Disney parks because $$$. This was my 1st chance to watch a "live" Season of HC, & Scar became an instant favorite. I've also never done a world download but thx to Scarland & Decked Out I'm Greatly Anticipating the chance to do one now! 😃

Honestly, not a specific moment but i adore the square-leafed trees around the castle. It's just so unique and contributes to the fantasy-esque style surrounding the castle. All of Scarland is so immaculately detailed; I could walk through it a thousand times and still not notice all the details you put it. Kudos to you Scar, i know you're disappointed it wasn't finished but it's an incredible accomplishment. You deserve so much love

This is my favourite RUclips series I’ve ever watched and I’m so sad to see it go, i loved the part where the morning announcement said “please keep a normal walking pace” as scar was flying with his Elyritra as fast as he could possibly go, I’m definitely gonna binge watch this series from start to finish at least 41382957826492 million times, thanks for making such an amazing thing scar, can’t wait to see more!

I’d definitely love to see this project continue in creative. At this point, the only reason to continue in survival rather than creative would be for bragging rights, it wouldn’t add anything to the build. You’ve already proven many times over that you’re capable of insane grinds this season. I just want to see your vision come to fruition!

I hope Scar knows how deep of an impact he’s made with Scarland. Everything about it is so special, and it means so much to me and thousands of other people. Scar has poured countless hours into adding love and character and joyous whimsy to every single detail of the park, all with the brightest attitude, happy to make other people happy. You can see the love poured into every single block placement. Every part of the build has its own story, it’s own special purpose. And I don’t think I can ever get over how much detail the park holds, from having its own offices and backstage areas to the immaculate terraforming...it all still blows me away!Scarland is filled with all the perfect tiny details that makes the whole thing so very realistic. I could ramble for hours about how beautiful this theme park is, and i’d still have more to say. Scar is such an artist and I hope he knows his dedication over the past two years have not gone unnoticed :) If you’re reading this Scar, thank you soooo much for all you’ve done and all the smiles! :))) Thank you for making Scarland such a beautiful place
The saddest part of season 9 ending for me was that Scarland wasn't finished. I am so happy to hear that you are thinking about finishing it anyway. I think doing it in creative is a great idea! You have nothing to prove by doing it in survival, unless you really want to. Personally, I would love if you would bring us along while you build. Maybe on streams instead of trying to do episodes. Whatever works best for you. Thank you for this season. We have enjoyed it so much. My daughter and I watch your content together and for Christmas I was able to give her your signed TCG card.
