  • Progressive death metal mastermind Kelly Shaefer stopped by the Die by the Click podcast to talk about the resurgence of Atheist and his new project Till the Dirt. Kelly also gave his opinion on the current state of the music industry and shared some stories about his life in the music business. I am a huge Atheist fan and I had great time talking with Kelly and I appreciate his wisdom.

Playing solos note for note is definitely important and just as important as the vocals. Thanks for watching and the comments. Cheers!

The back story about how the album was made is crazy. They spent minimal time and like Kelly said it may have been for the better. Cheers!

@frankmartin9958 Elements was a great album and I think it pushed Atheist beyond death metal. The drumming on Elements is phenomenal. Thanks for watching and the comment. Cheers!
