The whole veil is lifting in every industry. Not only the music industry. I feel a collective need for change. A need to replace all these systems that have been put in place by people in power. Modern day slavery.
That's what turned me all the way off from the music industry - It's rarely ever about the music. It reminds me of the modeling industry. Artists are just a tool in a pretty bad deal and I'm not even talking about the record deals. It's also wrong for people to worship other people. It's a big fat delusion.
The CD wasn't introduced until 1979, and didn't start outselling cassettes or records until the 1990's. The guy in the video is talking about record stores in the early seventies. Roullette was publishing vinyl records, not CD's.
I am loving your content! Quick note Roulette existed prior to the CD era, A lot of this was Vinyl records and Cassettes/8 Tracks. It’s a fascinating story! Keep up the amazing work!
He is hearing Michael saying that the music industry in the US is compromised by money and yet he says it can't be done. All these no talent people like Nas X are topping the charts and getting Grammies. The culture doesn't drive music, the industry does. Some of the most talented musicians can't even get their music out simply because they don't want to play industry games. He lost me with that statement. The industry outside the US has more integrity and is less corrupt.
Artists run the industry, they just dont know it yet. All you need is knowledge to become independent. Now with movies and tv shows its all about collaberating
Man...thank you so much. I have some music on SoundCloud and have companies loading my email and SC account daily...wanting to "push" my music. I haven't done it and YOU are answering every question that I have. Thank you
If you think hes "interrupting" too much, then just watch Michael Franzeses interview first, then watch this one. He breaks down what Michael Franzese even more to get an even better birds eye view on this subject thats what i did.
Love… you gotta give your viewers more credit… just like you understood what he was saying without having someone have to break every single thing down to you… you let your viewers have that same opportunity… we can follow everything he saying… and I promise you those that can’t won’t be your subscribers for long. Just let us listen.
If you get enough ppl to pretend to like something group conformity is powerful you can influence ppl to like what they would not like under normal circumstances but you are so right on everything ekse it's frustrating at times seeing what is happening to the music industry
the last time I checked(right before i closed my acc with distrokid) between itunes, spotify and beatport i had approx 400 sales (i know thats not many on the grand scale of things but alot for me) but from those approx 400 i made $5.04 lolol couldn't believe it hence closing my distrokid acc..............sadly, making music isn't done for the money its done for one's sanity and passion and its one of the only "jobs" that someone can do for years and years and not get enough money to survive lol..sadly
I don’t know if anything could work, there are obviously ways to boycott but that wouldn’t happen, because there are just so many ignorant users and kids using these services that just couldn’t care less unless its them being affected, we’ve lost unity and that’s what the top people in the world (not even just this industry) are banking on
I don't know why people just don't start their own music path. You don't need labels and record companies anymore. Today, this can be done by yourself. It might be hard, but it's possible if you want it enough. I just hope those of you who are serious about your craft can understand this. Don't get caught up in a trap over a few dollars 🌗
Helloyassine - the genius birth of the evil music industry about a yr ago was good also . This was good BWB . Always like to hear about this side of the game
So to your question « how do you translate those assets to the digital world », I invented sound shares for artists to be able to trade royalties under NFT format, fanbase investments unlocking ROI for music enthusiasts and instant funding at their stated price by artist. Take a look, don’t hesitate to give feedback.
You're missing the idea here. And I think you're making up a lot of details here. Back in the day, you'd have actual bootleg records, like say ACDC only had 6 albums, Indy stores would have about 16 albums, including counterfeits w different or even no artwork, live recorded performance stamped on vinyl, etc. None of those would be official releases. That had largely stopped during the CD/JewelCase era (those technologies were set up in part to mitigate the copying of tapes and bootlegs of vinyl)
You're free to find and watch the original vid. No need to act like a victim. He is required to talk every few minutes otherwise RUclips can strike and demonetise the vid; that is the reason he's doing it.
It's not you comparing yourself it's just not fear nowhere that doesn't happen in sports that doesn't happen maybe in the tim donorghy Era of basketball but it destroy the value and the credibility of the product
really interesting, but could you do clear cuts between the video you react and your thoughts, its hard to follow, especially for non native speakers ;)
Bro love the content but dam I can’t get through a video can’t you just take notes and address what you want at the end like a recap stop and going rahhh
I'm very confused that you claim that in the US money can't buy placements, because hits come from culture and taste. That's the opposite of the rest of the video and doesn't match my experience at all. When I look at Billboard, I don't see the best music.
I said money can’t buy a hit. If that were the case, anyone with money could be at the top. That’s not the case. Yes, they spend money to reach the top but there still has to be a viable product.
Fact, all these labal pay the radio to promote their artist they get a package from the radio station, that mean if they have like 2 artists for example with music that have some buzz the radio push it, its promotion but its sorta like the same thing cause money involved like Bw said it should be the ppl calling in and requesting the music..
One day they'll probably start creating popstar holograms and AI.. next generation might get something like Hannah Montana but a hologram version just to get the masses used to it-and the music industry won't be losing any money hiring artists. do you know those crazy 3-D videos that you see in New York and big cities.. concerts will be like that-inside those new domes like you see in Vegas the sphere.
Ironic how you make a point in the beginning about the criminal activity and people using techniques that aren't ethical, that aren't legal and aren't "kosher". Kosher is a jewish thing.
do you gotta stop the video every second, how can some understand if you keep stopping the video. why can't you take notes then explain at the end of the video
Payola is being done regardless there are some artist who aren't that great that gets pushed by cooperate America that music sounds stale and bland for example right now they have I had help by post Malone as the headliner of youtube hitlist when it should be expressi or million dollar baby so even if the dj don't do it cooperate America decides who we listen too
I teach the Music BUSINESS so that you don't get manipulated by the Music INDUSTRY.
🐐
Thank you! So much! ❤❤
Bless up king
Thank you for pausing and explainning, it healps with people like me, Appreciate you bro🖤
Busy you‘re the goat for this
The whole veil is lifting in every industry. Not only the music industry. I feel a collective need for change. A need to replace all these systems that have been put in place by people in power. Modern day slavery.
It’s coming. ❤

Artists are just a tool in a pretty bad deal and I'm not even talking about the record deals. It's also wrong for people to worship other people. It's a big fat delusion.
Michael can explain it well enough so there is no need to cut in every 10 seconds.
The CD wasn't introduced until 1979, and didn't start outselling cassettes or records until the 1990's. The guy in the video is talking about record stores in the early seventies. Roullette was publishing vinyl records, not CD's.
This is exactly what Kanye was talking about. And Dave Chappelle
💯
A lot of people have been sold a dream, keep exposing em Bro
Loving all this information 👏 thank you for looking out 🙏
I am loving your content! Quick note Roulette existed prior to the CD era, A lot of this was Vinyl records and Cassettes/8 Tracks. It’s a fascinating story! Keep up the amazing work!
The Devil runs the music industry
The devil runs all industries. Music, movies, fashion, jewelry, housing, etc. Then, it selects heads for each.
The devil went down to Georgia
This is amazing to see. Thank you for the breakdown 💯
Great video. Really enjoy watching Michael Franzese. Your explaining to this video made it more informative. Keep it coming BWB.
That was gold. Looking forward to part 3.

Right. This is a great breakdown on this topic but his conclusion is somewhat contradictory.
In the UK the most well known top rapper is central Cee this can tell you that the US is not the only country who has lost integrity
Artists run the industry, they just dont know it yet. All you need is knowledge to become independent. Now with movies and tv shows its all about collaberating
Bro ! You're doing the lord's work
Live Nation runs the music industry, or is one of the monopolies of it I believe. Great vid.
Man...thank you so much. I have some music on SoundCloud and have companies loading my email and SC account daily...wanting to "push" my music. I haven't done it and YOU are answering every question that I have. Thank you
awesome!! The more eyes can see, the happier we will all be in the end
Thank you bro
If you think hes "interrupting" too much, then just watch Michael Franzeses interview first, then watch this one.

Yes😊😊😊
Sam Cooke?...😳

Amen 🙏
Human beings have more evil than good. That is my stance, I don't know how one is capable of such manipulation.(The music industry)
What’s your evil side?
If you get enough ppl to pretend to like something group conformity is powerful you can influence ppl to like what they would not like under normal circumstances but you are so right on everything ekse it's frustrating at times seeing what is happening to the music industry
Alotta ppl get defensive over the word " Payola"
Loving these!
Back in 90s in Australia you could walk in $2 stores and find all major artists albums printed in china not to be sold out of china
Nat Tarnopol, Henry Stone, Syd Nathan, et al... these guys were also some major label heads who were mob-connected at the time.
in other words, YE was right.
Not really, but okay.
One of the greatest stories about how payola was created
Anytime someone goes, "And theres no questioning about it" its an immediate red flag. Question. Everything.
the last time I checked(right before i closed my acc with distrokid) between itunes, spotify and beatport i had approx 400 sales (i know thats not many on the grand scale of things but alot for me) but from those approx 400 i made $5.04 lolol couldn't believe it hence closing my distrokid acc..............sadly, making music isn't done for the money its done for one's sanity and passion and its one of the only "jobs" that someone can do for years and years and not get enough money to survive lol..sadly
Very enlightening !
It would also be interesting to cover the influence of political and ideological agendas in the making of the cultural landscape.
Mg the future covers that in our next part of the series
Hmmm... sounds like what they may be about to start doing with A.I. and post humourous records
My question now is how can everyday people help rebuild the industry?
I don’t know if anything could work, there are obviously ways to boycott but that wouldn’t happen, because there are just so many ignorant users and kids using these services that just couldn’t care less unless its them being affected, we’ve lost unity and that’s what the top people in the world (not even just this industry) are banking on
One of the best minds on u tube!!! super impressed!!!

The Jhuse run the music and film industry.
Great content 🎉🎉🎉
Man I wish yall would let the video play and then put your input at the end instead keep starting and stopping it
Man this interpreter is screwing up the whole message by his constant interruptions
No wonder you would see damn near 6 people who writes one song! You know damn well it doesn't take 6 people to write one song!
Lmao that confuses me all the time, and the artist would literally say "I wrote this song" yet there's like 6 ppl on the credits 😂😂😂😂😂
Helloyassine - the genius birth of the evil music industry about a yr ago was good also .
This was good BWB . Always like to hear about this side of the game
Pirate the master jesus chirst ..busywork and u know what so funny busywork nothing don't really change u know ..
Strawberry’s!
They were everywhere
Who “knew” these shenanigans were going on!
Glad I wasn’t in the music biz back then (as a struggling artist)
You should read Whitney Webbs book about it : a nation under blackmail. It discusses these topics from the beginning with valid sources
Let him talk why interrupt every 1-2 mins ….?!
Stopped watching too many times interrupting
@busyworksbeats ••• SOSA WOULD BE THE TRAFFICKER + HE WOULD DISTRIBUTE IT TO THE SELLERS + THEY WOULD SELL IT TO THE STREET PHARMACIST . . .
It's illegal to vertically integrate in the music industry due to the Dick Clark case.
Wow talk about a big rabbit hole ! Stay woke 😂
Rain man

The news run the music industry
I couldn't watch this because you wouldn't shut up stop interrupting, you dont have to interrupt every 5 seconds we can figure things out ourselves
You're free to find and watch the original vid. No need to act like a victim. He is required to talk every few minutes otherwise RUclips can strike and demonetise the vid; that is the reason he's doing it.
Morris Levy=,Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers?
Respect
I found this video very irritating because you talk too much! I want to hear the man talk but you want us to hear you! Not impressed
1:10 I’m not going to say the race that runs it, you know I can’t say that
You referring to the Jooooooooos
It's not you comparing yourself it's just not fear nowhere that doesn't happen in sports that doesn't happen maybe in the tim donorghy Era of basketball but it destroy the value and the credibility of the product

Industry baby, “bees” in da trap, Aaliyah, etc…
Bro love the content but dam I can’t get through a video can’t you just take notes and address what you want at the end like a recap stop and going rahhh
You interupt way too much
Nah fr. Every 2 mins he pausing the video. Made me leave the video to find the original smh 🤦🏾♂️
Danm I was going to watch but I remembered him from last time. Made me angry as f!!! Can’t be quiet!
So why watch ?😂
@@brandonsmith1945 so we can be angry over something so trivial
@@3Z6I9RI don’t think ppl are angry I think they are annoyed.

It would help if you would just let it play.
Let me hear that guy
Bru you talk too much let us watch the video dude!
Video game piracy lol, definitely tightened up in the past 10 years. Expect a big shift in the music industry
Dude just say Pirating is similar Bootlegging!
good stuff. but should not pause inbetween
They just did it. They made a Whiteny Houston hologram at a concert, and it was moving like an actual person, it was crazy.
Fellow mafia member 😂. Exposed yourself to!
Ironic how you make a point in the beginning about the criminal activity and people using techniques that aren't ethical, that aren't legal and aren't "kosher". Kosher is a jewish thing.
Just like politics and campaigns donations, I mean bribery...lol
11:47 one CD a month is not that crazy, I used to buy CDs very seldom and listen the same albums on repeat for a long time!
Beyonce anyone!
Wish this guy would shut up Tagallini was explaining just fine.
whoever runs industry answers to no one
Bro why u interrupt 🤫🤫🤫
Interrupt too much man!!!!
I understand what the man is saying bro, can you let me listen to him first and do your analysis afterwards.
True, at the time, I kept pausing due to youtube backend issues with using other people's clips
His name is pronounce Fran-zay-see
do you gotta stop the video every second, how can some understand if you keep stopping the video. why can't you take notes then explain at the end of the video
Copyright , I can only play 15 seconds max then I have to comment
The Zionists?
Mmm so that’s why music seems to have less and less soul (not all songs and artists).
