Uppal (Hindi: उप्पल) is an Indian surname. The Khatris have a clan and the Jats have a tribe called Uppal. According to BN Puri, Uppal is derived from the Sanskrit term "utpalarana" which means "one who leaps upon their enemies". Puri further mentions it to be a part of the Bunjahi and Sareen subcaste of Khatris.

In India also one would find Gujratis as compared to others better in business. Similarly Gujrati Muslims Khoja Shias, memons and Bohras are very prominent. Similarly among Hindus Gujrati one would find Banias and Jains. In Rajsthan Marwari (region of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and nearby) Banias and many sub castes. In Punjab Khatris or Bhapas of Peshawar were good in business. Definitely environment and family values and culture make difference.

It's good to rule other people and make them work for you as you take care only security work and allow them to develop individual skills . John Staut Mills utilitarianism is a normative ethical theory that prescribe actions that maximize happiness and well-being for all maximum number of people.
If Pakistan has to be “REIMAGINED” it is imperative that maximum social-economic benefit reach the marginalized & poor as per Unitarianism.
This can happen when three critical conditions are met
1-Capability (of leaders, institutions, technology based governance)
2- Capacity (financial resources, human talent)
3- Integrity (financial, moral & purpose)
If you ask me Pakistan’s score is VERY LOW on all the three critical parameters.

To make economic progress, woman participation in the workforce plays a very important role. Most of the very conservative Islamic countries in the middle east have severe restrictions on the role of woman in general and they are by and large confined to their homes. Another key aspect which shapes attitudes towards economic progress is education. Here in this aspect almost all the Islamic countries have severely failed to properly educate their population. There is hardly a single world class university in any of the Islamic countries at present where folks can obtain advanced degrees in Science, Mathematics or economics and so on. This happened despite their wealth (as in KSA, Iran, UAE - lot better, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Egypt etc). There is lack of emphasis on education despite. They should de-emphasize core religious education and put more efforts in educating their youth in real world skills which require knowledge of STEM courses etc. Our Muslim brothers & sisters here in India who are getting educated in non religious schools are progressing very well. India has produced from our muslim community world class scientists, doctors, engineers, teachers, bankers, economists, industrialists, and scientists. So this goes to prove that if one has the right attitude and in a proper environment they will shine and prosper. There is a saying that says play while you play and study while you study, pray while you pray, but prayers will not be answered if you only pray and not prepare and educate yourself to face real world issues.

Indian subcontinent never ruled by turkik rulers directly . They used to send farmans to force local Dharmic indian ruler to surrender big chunk of share of revenue . If they refuse the big army backed by heavy canon , handmade guns and cavalary used to invade and loot the local ruler . Many hilly/forest dense areas were never ruled/invaded like chhattisgarh . Only 10-15 years ransom money paid to mugals as they prisoned one ruler during pilgrimage to VARANASI .
    Most of the economic activites in indian subcontinent were controlled by Vaishya (baniya/jain/marwadi / khatri/ sindhi vaishya/ gujrati /kayastha /shetty /southern bramhins/ deccan deshmukh/ arab-european traders / bohra /syrian chritian/ parsi etc. )

If Pakistan alliws than there could be much yrade between Afghanistan, Turkistan , Khazakistan etc one the west and India, Nepal, Bangladesh snd Sri Lanka in the east. The definition of religiosity is taken as being bigotted in one's ideas and beliefs irrespective of the fact they understand the true spirit of their religion or not. Religion is one thing and the one who claims to follow a religion is another thing . A follower may not have understood the true spirit of a religion.
