Shahzad navigated the conversation adeptly while Adeem struggled to gain traction on topics such as jurisprudence, portals, and black holes, leaving all of them unanswered.
His criticism of Shahzad was evident, repeatedly expressing resentment and labeling him as naive. He also disparaged Shahzad’s audience as mere disciples. Perhaps, Shahzad, you must explore “resentment therapy.” if there is any l 😂
Adeem drew inspiration for the concept of portals from a Stanford dean and referenced Surah Muaarij, but perhaps he should have consulted the Surah itself rather than getting this concept from the dean. His approach resembled that of a preacher fervently attempting to persuade Shahzad.
He questioned the nature of black holes, likening them to black “mud” (like mud of gases, what the heck, dude). He also commented on Hood Boy, implying ignorance at the beginning with the phrase “Hood Boy, woh physics guy” and repeatedly mentioning him throughout the podcast, suggesting a familiarity with him.
Adeem’s adherence to Shafi Jurisprudence, which he views as liberal and open, contrasts with his desire for stricter Sharia Law. He deemed strict blasphemy laws in a society, which he thinks is dumb, so that they can kill more foreigners like the Srilankan guy.
His channel is monetized, and the Pakistani dumb audience is watching him, and he is generating money from them, at least having some respect for them. He is a psychologist, philosopher, physicist, Islamic scholar, and even sleep expert. ASTAGHFIRULLAH
Conversely, Shahzad’s handling of the podcast is commendable, demonstrating the ability to confront misguided individuals who distort scientific concepts and mislead the youth.

@Raoshow I want to clarify that I’m not making any comparisons here, as there’s no basis for contrast. Shahzad fulfills the role of a host, representing his audience and facilitating discussions, while Adeem is a mentor and source of knowledge for the younger generation.
Regarding the notion of comparing “him to my best self,” I believe it’s unproductive to compare individuals in such a manner. Instead, one should focus on self-improvement by assessing personal growth over time. However, listening to others and reading can be sources of inspiration and learning.
While Shahzad doesn’t require defense as he’s intellectually capable of handling critiques, I can’t ignore the judgmental undertones in comments like “the real face,” “never satisfied,” and “not accepted good.”

    *HONEST REVIEW*
*Both were discussing topics and clearly had difference of opinion which is absolutely okay but this review is about how the podcast was carried out*
    - Perfect podcast for mirch masala Star Plus type of entertainment audience as judging by the comments
    - Host started the podcast like he has some kind of grudge against the guest
    - Instead of trying to understand the answer it was more about insulting him
    - Taunts were delivered frequently “kanp kahy rhy hu bhai” “ 1.5 saal se emails a rhi thi”
    - The whole podcast was definetely a investigation not a conversation
    - Giving a “Ehsaan kar rha hun podcast krky tere sath” vibe.
    - Doing all this stuff and at the end justifying it by saying this is a way of having conversation with people in order to grow
    - On the very end interrupting the guest and asking for the time and ending the podcast?
Perfect example of “How NOT To Deal With a Person You Have Difference of Opinion With”
SHAHZAD I look up to you man I’m your regular viewer, with all due respect you could have done so much better.

What is he then? I am a regular viewer of Sahil Adeem. I think he introduced him well. • @s1d33q
      @s1d33q Год назад +16

@@SpontaneousSana You claim to be a regular viewer of Sahil Adeem and assert that there is nothing wrong in introducing him in that way. However, Sahil Adeem himself has stated that he is not a motivational speaker, and his involvement in RUclips was not part of his initial plan. It appears that you might not be aware that Sahil Adeem has expressed strong opinions against the title of "Motivational Speaker" in Pakistan, considering it akin to a disease. If you truly understand his perspective, you would introduce him as a psychologist and consultant, given his background in psychology. I recommend actively listening to and comprehending his statements rather than merely being a regular viewer. Merely being a regular viewer is not an accomplishment if you lack knowledge about the person you are listening to and their true identity.

Shahzad attempted numerous times to deflect and escape by saying i dont know about it, claiming ignorance. It is a lesson to study before engaging in an argument. It's crucial to possess knowledge before pointing fingers. If someone wishes to learn, this isn't the appropriate approach. Once again, hats off to Sahil Sahib. This is not your job pal. Discuss the existence of GOD. But you internet rat wander here and there and ask questions related to will of GOD. While you keep running from the real question "Does God exists?" if yes you have to accept his WILL without further discussion. these questions will never meet an end but the this one question is the root of your so called atheism. If you don't believe, just only just discuss the existence of that supreme being.
If you feel like you're open minded then be open minded on a genuine question don't just wander like a rat.
otherwise you too are like the local mulas, padrees and pandits.
BTW I don't agree with Sahil Adeem. He showed cowardness on TLP question and blasphemy law but that doesn't justify you to wander instead search for real question. If jasha sandu has will so his CREATOR must have as well or rather I say he's the CREATOR OF WILL Itself@@jasha9sandhu

Never comment on anything but doing it today, because this was absolutely amazing.
    My take on the podcast:
I’m so glad I came across this. This is exactly the kind of challenging conversations we should put ourselves in. This actually made me pick up the Quran and read surah maarij and totally fell in love with it. “Lord of stairways” is exactly the term Allah has used there. So kudos to Sahil on taking a hard stance based on his knowledge. So keen to read more now and visualise more and not depend on marvel to do it for me.
Shehzad’s perspective: I’m so happy to see shehzad challenging Sahil to be more tangible in his responses. Shehzad’s representing the majority of us (Pakistanis) who aren’t super learned on certain topics and yet we have questions based on our limited knowledge. Wish he knew more on topics and done more research and this conversation could’ve been on a completely different level instead of him coming off as rude to many or lost when challenged in return by Sahil for references but I don’t hold it against him completely. Still appreciate him probing more which sahil appreciated himself in the end of the podcast. (Graceful of sahil to do it). Also shehzad wanting to gain the credibility on Sahil’s sources / substantial qualification so we aren’t bilndly following just anyone including sahil. Mocking Sahil’s accent was so uncalled for and unpleasant though. Questioning is different but this is not a standup or a comedy set. I bet he wouldn’t have a similar tone with people he looks upto.
Sahil: Absolutely love his work already so there might be a bias in my opinion since he’s making us all read and do the work (hardest part) and question more (which I love doing). Learnt so much from his responses and specially how to deal with difficult conversations!! But abstract answers to even the simplest of questions can sometimes feel frustrating. I’m sure I don’t fully understand where he’s coming from or the point he’s trying to make but could be good to have a balance of both abstract but also straight forward responses at times. Super motivated to read Quran even more due to Sahil’s timely responses and references where shehzad found himself completely lost and had to skip to next questions or switch topics because he didn’t have tangible responses himself.
Wish to watch more of such content and this is exactly what I feel I need (as a Pakistani) difficult conversations instead of polite and mohazib ones!
    Thank you both.

I did PhD in physics from canada and have been immersed in the field for 15 years. I find it challenging to engage with my cousins and friends who are undergraduates or pursuing basic studies. The main issue is that their level of thinking and intellectual capacity doesn't match mine and making it difficult for me to explain complex concepts. Whenever i try to communicate logically they often engage in arguments. This situation reminds me of a podcast where the host who completed a three month English course and recently learned some words considers himself a philosopher quite amusing lol. Desi scientist

Exactly. Sahil adeem is saying what is written in the Quran that the one who knows and the who doesn't can't be equals. Agay say phir wohi behes bara-e-behes host ka. K Bhai who are we to judge. O Bhai Allah clear standard dya rhy hain aap ko judge krny k Liye. Our Prophet (s.a.w) is saying k ilm haasil kro kjwa cheen hi kion na jana prry. Aur ye k ilm haasil krna hr musalman mard aur aurat pr farz hai. Kion k ilm aur taqwa hi wo standards hin jis pr Allah Keh rhy hain k judge someone.

That is a pretty stupid argument, where you feel you intellectual capacity in general is at a higher level then others. It may be specific to the line of study you are in, but what good is your intellect if you can't explain your own thought process. Sahil in this podcast stood out because he was able to explain his thought process to the level even a non-expert could understand.

Sahil Adeem is very right when talking about the level of intelligence and education of a large chunk of people in the society
when quoting from the Qur'an- "The one who knows and the one who does not know are not equal" and we can see that because wherever an ignorant people, people not knowing enough and moreover not trying to know enough are given power they cause more harm than good and we know that as in when a child is free to do something and he does not have enough understanding for example eating chocolates, now chocolates make him happy and he does not know that excess of it can be bad for him and therefore he ends up eating a lot of it and spoiling his own teeth. Just like that the man who does not have a long term vision and is short term and dopamine oriented will make the easier and comfortable choice/decision and we are seeing it in our own selves, we have become addicted to the internet. So whether its about an individual or a people at large, only the competent and visionary can take people to the good

Your absolutely right, everyday i cross by people which are less or more intellectual then me, i see them and wonder from do i start explaining him that he is following wrong things or being part of a negative agenda...
Same people will think or me if they are more intellectual then me but what differs me from a jahil is my openness and acceptance towards other opinions,
not being a narrow-minded person which is astonishingly played by Shezad in this case. Selling a westernised bullshit agenda which also supports things like LGBTQ tv

"Mareej" (مَرِيج) is an Arabic word with several meanings, including:
    1. *Ascension*: Mareej can refer to the act of rising or ascending, like a person climbing a mountain or a soul ascending to a higher spiritual realm.
    2. *Elevation*: It can also mean elevation or exaltation, like something being lifted up or honored.
    3. *Growth*: Mareej can also imply growth or increase, like a plant growing taller or a person's knowledge expanding.
    4. *Ascent*: In some contexts, mareej refers to a person's social or professional ascent, like a promotion or rise to power.
In Islamic terminology, Mareej is also used to describe the ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the heavens, known as the "Mi'raj".
Overall, Mareej carries a sense of upward movement, progress, and ascension, whether physical, spiritual, or metaphorical.

I used to think sahil’s attitude wasn’t good or his temper was bad but after this podcast I can confidently say he’s the person who can handle it the best. Hats off to sahil never thought I’d say something like this but honestly this podcast made me like sahil. I had a neutral pov about sahil before but I now actually like him. I’d end it with a quote of mark Twain “Never argue with foolish people, they’d drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
You gotta have a certain level of intellect / iq to have such conversations. I’d advise the host to invite different personalities next time such as chahat fatah ali khan, Akhtar lawa, and others so they can have a proper conversations since their intellectual levels seem to compliment each other more.
