I’m liking this game so far but I will say I don’t like the running mechanism especially when guards are chasing. Holding R2 was way better for running in previous AC games
I did that as soon as I did the QTE a couple times, lol. It's easy, but it takes forever when compared to just tapping the button once to get stuff, like the old games.
"Tips and Tricks is a series we've been doing since 2019. While there are many imitators, there's only one OG." Well, y'all aren't the OG. IGN has been doing this series for way longer. Even other people have been as well.

Im playing this game its good but i will say this to the old school assassin creed fans it does take the series mostly back to its roots like the first 3 games its a stealth game there is combat but you wont be using it as much as the newer games you will be sneaking collecting information blending in with people figuring out which route to take to Assassinate your targets and you have Tools which are improved the throwing knives are very useful also there is no level cap you can pretty much Assassinate anyone like armoured warriors now for the things they brought from the newer games which isn't really that much you have the bird and the new skill focus where you can Assassinate Multiple people but dont have to use it except for one part in the game but that skill does help and can be very useful
I do enjoy this game a lot as always do with ac games, owning all of them on console. I do find the lack of variation in weapons a bit boring after 50+ hours played and I miss having a bow. But I do have a ton of fun and I like the environment and story - also the reduction of getting attacked by animals constantly made me happy, both ac and far cry have been way to heavy on that department in recent titles.
Playing the game on hard right now i wish the enemy Ai was smarter its hilarious you can preety much just throw a knife at a group of enimies and they just look around like a lost child
I got this for BF for $40. I like it alot. Its like Unity. I think skills are expensive. Combats actually really fun, like AC3's Connor. I dont use that Super Assassin move very much either. Still a really good game
I was really looking forward to this but I'm hating the lack of a bow. Throwing knives are not nearly as satisfying. Then there's the bugs such as keys not existing to unlock doors and falling into a void and getting disconnected. So far it doesn't live up to expectations.
@@Lucky-km1nt hey been playing for over 25hrs, what you can do it upgrade it in the bureau, there are different tier with perks, select the damage ones and there is also one with a charge up. Aiming for the head also helps😊
then why are you here? guide videos are like 90% of this channel’s content. nobody’s forcing you to watch them. and what may cheapen the experience for you may enrich others’. sometimes the depth of a game is not easily discovered by the average player. videos providing further context for the game you’re playing and its mechanics can actually increase enjoyment of said game.
I remember when this game was available, me and my little sister tried to convince each other to buy the game and funny enough, we're buying the game together
Personally I liked Odyssey and Valhalla better. Mirage is much smaller basically a big city to run through compared to the open-world environment which I like much more this game feels very repetitive empty and quite frankly boring after a few hours in it. Continuing this game feels more like a chore than entertainment.
I feel like lately, these "things i wish i knew before playing x game" kind of videos is getting worse. Most of them has become something that either will be explained in the game, or completely obvious. It used to be all about things that game doesnt explain, or stuff that people wouldnt know/realize even after they complete a game
We’ve been doing this series since 2019, and have helped hundreds of thousands of people across a number of games. Unfortunately a number of other creators have straight up copied us at this point and yeah, they water down the content. Nothing we can really do about that other than continue to try and make the best videos we can.
Why do you think it's like a dlc? Because it was at the start? Because it is so short? The early ac games were all that short and nobody thinks these were a waste of money
I wish i new sooner that is was another liying crap from ubisoft ... boring empty souless cheap storyline. Dumb a.i dumb quest.... its super bad .... who would pay for that are you crazy!?
Okay but do they still have they completely messed up control scheme for Valhalla and it's disfunctional control scheme customization? or is it like Odyssey and origins where theres the awful preset and the actually useable "alternative" control scheme?

not released on steam, not worth it.

I have a pro controller and have running on my back paddle so it feels like the old AC games
Just change the bindings
You can change the controls if you want
then change the controls 💀
You can edit controls. I did R2 for sprint and L2 for crouch.
On a side note; your viewpoints have chests that are valuable. Pickpocket around your veiwponts to find the merchant coin needed for the chests
Fun fact: you can disable the quick-time event needed for pick pocketing.
I did that as soon as I did the QTE a couple times, lol. It's easy, but it takes forever when compared to just tapping the button once to get stuff, like the old games.
Does it affect anyrhing if you turn the qte off?

15 hours in game and i am really enjoying it.

Whoever has bought/preordered Assassins Creed Mirage, i wish you well and hope you enjoy the gamr
Thx
Thank you I got the collectors edition
Yes I buy it 4 times for each system
Will be buying tonight after work 😢 (Friday 2am) lol but either way can't wait to get off and zoom home
Absolutely loving it, so tired of the RPGs and this is a step in the right direction.

So far I’m impressed with the game

The bug I hate most is when it doesn’t let you talk to blacksmiths and tailors and shit .
I never had a lol. But the knives are so stupid they never kill you need sometimes 2 to kill one guard because a little bit of health is left

I agree about the bow, all your enemies have a bow but you don't, doesn't make sense to me.
another tip , you can skip pickpocket on settings
Thanks
I would say contracts are the best way to earn components by a large margin...other than that great vid, thanks Kodiak 😊
Brotherhood had the whistle feature. I thought it came before 3.
I have been playing for 27hrs and I am not even halfway through the game
Does anyone know what the talisman do an which is the best is just for show ?
Just decoration
Please do a tier list ranking all the swords daggers and outfits
On my XBOX ONE X, I don't see that diamond shape Icon pop up when you loot someone. How did you get that?.
Stutters on high end PCs is Jacked Up!
Fix your shit. Im running 134 fps 4k ultra setting 65 inch q90r no issues at all

the beauty of a new game is to learn things yourself not to know everything from the start , these days everyone plays a game after a guide
cause people dont wanna drop 60 bucks on a game they may not enjoy.

how short it is
how there is nothing to do after collecting everything and finishing the story

How to follow marker with mount on PC?
Fyi whistle had been in since ac3 at the very least.
What do to u mean by sooner? A week hasn't passed yet. 😅
Some reason mine won’t let me save my game. Once I die in battle. It makes me start all over again losing everything I have done. How do I fix this?
At the beginning of the game, there is a setting to permanently die or not.
How do you get the blue color for Basim’s robes?
Progress story.
You can whistle in ac 2
I just finished a playthrough of 2. At what point can you whistle?
they should kept upgrading weapons like ac 2
I remember when this game was available, me and my little sister tried to convince each other to buy the game and funny enough, we're buying the game together
Basum?
Such good content. I refuse to ride a camel though!
isc what ppl said, this game is better Assassin than the last 2 games….gameplay little bit off..but it nearest to Assassin after Bayek..
It's Basim, not Basam. :)

Sooner? Bruh, game released a couple days ago. Exploration is a part of gaming experience. You do not wish you knew them sooner.
Fyi it's pronounced like ba-seem, not bass-um

I just wast my money on this game am not saying that is not good

Only thing I wish I knew sooner about Assassin’s Creed Mirage was not to buy it. It’s trash, and should be given a mediocre rating at best
You could enable the pocket picking to get a successful pick every time
why are you pointing out things that have been in a assissgns creed game since origin. Oh, yeah to get views.
Every game is someone's first time playing that series. He help casual and hardcore players alike.
What a sucky game. You get images of ancient Baqhdaq, the rest sucks! Go back to Valhalla, Odissey, and Origin.
This isn't even a game it's more like a dlc instead . Don't waste your money on a 15 hour game and save your money
it's the same length as spiderman 2 but it costs 20$ less. does that mean spiderman 2's a waste of your money?
