Hi Everybody! Here's my quick and easy way to make a Vegan Breakfast Burrito! This one is inspired by the famous Corner Cottage Burrito here in Burbank!

My goal at THEE BURGER DUDE is to show vegans and non-vegans alike how easy it is to make delicious and decadent vegan meals. I used to eat a lot of meat and dairy before going vegan, so this channel is aimed at people like myself before going vegan. Additionally, I totally welcome any vegans who might be missing one of their favorite fast food or comfort food meals as well, come on in! I want to show that you can still have burgers, mac n' cheese, fried chick’n and any other kind of comfort food, and that it’s possible with plant-based ingredients.
If you’re new to veganism and don’t know where to start, or if you’re totally new to cooking, or new to both, then I hope you find something on this site that piques your interest and are inspired to cook! And if you have any questions please contact me!

You could also try to add some unsweetend soy yoghurt to your scrambled tofu. I really enjoy the creamyness.

Yes I’ve done that before it’s great!
These turned out better than we imagined. We used Kite Hill for the vegan sour cream. We also prefer Impossible meat over Beyond so we used Impossible. The sausage flavor was great!

I don’t live near this place but if I had to guess what is in that “salsa” taking account that is is LA. It would have to be what we call “pico de gallo” which is essentially diced tomato, onion, jalapeño or Serrano, cilantro, and salt. Maybe some lime juice. It’s a common stable of Mexican households

Hi Burger Dude, thanks for all the amazing recipe inspiration. We made a crunch wrap version of this with bitchin sauce, hash browns, just egg, sausage, cheese, tortilla chips, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, more sauce and salsa, used a 1/4 cut of a tortilla to seal the center part, wrap, cook on both sides. It was sooooo delicious! Thanks! I subscribed. Can't wait to see more plant based yummy ideas!

Just a little tip to help to seal the burrito place it back on the hot pan where you end up rolling it after it helps to keep it together

Salsa looks legit. I’d like to make one of my favorite local burritos. I have a fav from a gourmet shop that makes everything in house from scratch, the Little Red Fox in DC. They have a smoked tofu burrito with just five ingredients which also doubles as a breakfast burrito. Smoked tofu, potatoes, black beans, corn and guacamole. I have yet to make it cuz I need to get around to smoking a tofu. I was wondering if you could do a video on smoking stuff up with a smoke infuser cuz they seem to be something that is cost effective and flexible.
My man, you got to wrap your hot Burrito in aluminum foil after making them and leave them fully wrapped for 3-5 minutes. It isn't just easier to eat, it has a warm baked taste to it as well that elevates the burrito. Love the recipe.

Personally, I don't peel my potatoes. The skin has a pleasant papery texture that contrasts nicely with the way the flesh gets fluffy and crispy, and that's where potatoes happen to store a lot of their vitamins. If you're shredding it all up finely anyway, peeling just doesn't seem like a good investment to me.
Don't get me wrong though, it's a compelling recipe.

Depends on where you live, but if you can get any kind of vegan mince, or TVP would work too, but it's a bit more work.
Salsa not cooked and not wet is called pico de gallo or chismole.

Nope, no daiya or microwave torilla you momster. Violife, Vevan or miyokos cheeze. No Stacys or legit tortilla on a skillet. The rest looks good. We eat these all of the time with fresh garden salsa, thanks to this vid, having one for lunch. I just got fat looking at the thumbnails on your channel.Good channel for hibernation which has begun. Only vegans go to heaven!
