If the link doesn't work you, do this: 1- Increase the quality and fullscreen. 2- Press start and search for snipping tool. 3- Click new and drag the mouse across the reference image in the video. 4- Hit ctrl + s to save and choose type the name you want and where to save it.
This is a very informative tutorial. But I hope in the future you would conduct your tutorial a little bit slow so that your student would not panic following you. It's just a suggestion though, and thank you for your efforts in this video :)
Nice and all but the reflections on the glass still seem a little broken? about half-way up you can see a seam where the reflection is interrupted and noticed that the reflection mirrors once the angle of the polygons pass a certain point
hi bro hwru, i liked ur tutorial, but pls let me know how u have selected only inner polygon faces leaving outside faces, what is the trick..........pls expalin
At the end, you added 1 light in front and 1 on side, slightly tilted to glass. I am getting full reflections on glass and no transparency. Maybe because all have to exclude glass? What does excluding glass mean?
i dont think you showed setting up the vray as when i imported the glass vray it showed up as missing material. can't follow the tutorial for a beginner
Can I ask you one thing? When I started the exercise file, I didnt see the picture of the glass, I just saw a black background. How can I fix it? Thanks for your tutorial.
I don't get it. At the point with only top light, even if I set it with multiplayer of 1 (instead of 10) I get way brighter image then Yours :/ If I turn off this light I get black image so there are no other lights.
subscribed. thanks for this. very clear tutorial. loved it. gonna try it as soon as i get vray. word of advise - pay a little bit more attention to the spellings. look forward to more :) oh also can you tell me the music track name?
Hi, in my design I have a large window and also used a Hdr map for outside, but in my render can't see the Hdr map, and when I render without the window glass can see the hdr map. so can you tell me what happened. Thanks
there is another studio rendering file for glass with lights and background all setup for free by a kind person in this link www.aversis.be/tutorials/vray/vray-20-glass-liquid-01.htm
it's like an uncanny valley real, you can tell its cgi... just learn 3ds max yourself and you will eventually be able to make actually realistic renders
Perhaps a bit of a stretch to call this realistic followed by 3 proff. tips when clearly you do not possess enough knowledge to see the huge air gap in between the liquid and glass geometry in the final render. Plus your liquid material is dealing with an Refr. IOR of 1.1. That's closer to air than anything else.

too fast for beginners in vray material and lights
broken link :(
