Let me be #224 to say that Jersey Boys is just the greatest. I saw it on Feb. 13, and was blown away by the staging, the music, and the talented cast. I seen other Broadway musicals and this one is 99.99% perfect. What ever the cost of the tickets or where you may have to travel to see it, I say GO. It's worth the effort. And do yourself a favor: get seats close to the stage. The extra cost is nothing to the added pleaures you'll get.

I was in Vegas for opening night Apr 4 as well. It was INCREDBLE! Very emotional for me, having grown up on this music. I wanted to see it again the next night but had tix for Mamma Mia!--also tons of fun. If you get a chance to see Jersey Boys, DO IT!
i saw this show 3 days in vegas at the palazzo. the 9:30 show. the guy who played frankie valli was incredible. He hit every note perfectly and can go even higher than frankie could. Ive known thier songs before i saw the show but now im just hooked on all of their music and get the songs out of my head.
This is possibly the greatest play I've ever seen. I thank the Four Seasons for their great music...and I thank my dad for getting my family and I tickets before they won the award :-) It's kinda sad that not all the original cast isn't there anymore--the guy who played Valli (forgot the actor's name) sounded EXACTLY like him!!!
I'm 16, I'm not really into all this classic stuff. My mom dragged me to the Broadway production and I LOVED it! When Frankie sang "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" (The first song) the audience just went crazy. At the end of the song he had a standing ovation for the longest time, it was amazing!
Having seen " JB's " 3 times, all with differing Cast, I still say that in every the original B'Way cast, was & is today still, the best. They were all hand-picked by Bob, Frankie, Tommy, the still-living " 4 Seasons", & Des McAnuff, The Director. Without question, they knew what they were doing. From JLY & Christian Hoff, both of whom won Tony's, this group was flawless, with both the music & the drama. KUDOS to all, from a Nice Italian Boy who lived that music, & the 60's. Wolfsky9, 67 y/o
John Lloyd is the advisor for the Board of my theatre school in KS. So the directior of my theatre program(Peter Ellenstien), called Sardi's (a resturanunt in NYC) and asked to set up luncheon for me and other thatre guest from our school on a 5-day broadway tour. we stayed at the Novotel , the hotel across from Jersey Boys.
Just saw the show in NYC, June 1...phomonimal show bout my paisans from The Great freaking City of Newark. God Bless You Guys...you did great...you made it!!!
I totally agree with that. I tivo'd the Tonys and watched them today, and while I 'kinda' wanted to see this show, after watching this performance......I WAS HOOKED! Now I definately need to see it. That final chord has haunted me all day. Too bad it's sold out till November!!!! I hope they're all still in it then.

I just saw this show and the guy who plays Frankie is just unbelievable. Frankie Valli could only dream of having such vocal control. Anyway not to take anything away from the real Frankie, but his stage proxy is just awesome. If you haven't, go see this show right away

I just got back from seeing this in L.A. One of the absolute BEST things I've seen in theatre!!! Go if you have the chance. You won't be disappointed.

I saw them in MN, and it is by far one of the best broadway musicals i have hever seen. everything was fantastic.

I saw the Seattle one, with Christopher Kale Jones..and I must say I think this cast was better than the original, it was amazing!

wow john Lloyd young killed it! he's got such an amazing voice, and still sounds awesome with a bit of vocal exhaustion in this video.
