I would’ve loved to share my timetable with you, only if I had one haha. The number of questions on the Math module and Reading and Writing module are different. You get 27 questions per R&W module, and 22 questions per mathematics module.
Hey, i wanted to ask if you were provided with a port to be able to plug your charger into during the test to charge your device, or did you have to rely on battery life for it? And what device did you use.
Yes, you are allowed to take a portable charger with you to the test centre, however, there’s no guarantee that your test centre will have the plugs or other such facilities. They may or may not provide you with those. For that, you should try to select the best of all the available test centres, like I myself tried to select the most reputable test centre here in my city although it was not the closest to my house. Plus try taking a device with good battery health, and make sure that it is 100% charged right before you leave your home for the test centre. It will be enough to last for 2 hours and 30 minutes approximately. I used my iPad for my test day. I guess I was the only one with an iPad in my centre, rest of the students had their laptops with them.
I watched a bunch of RUclips videos for that and they worked for me! Watch a few videos first to have clear concepts, and then solve punctuation drills and other punctuation questions from the QAS reports as well.
I understand your problem, this was exactly my case. Believe me, this was something that scared me the most on my test day that what if I zone out?! While preparing for the test and solving practice tests, I faced this issue a lot! But I don’t know maybe it’s the test day pressure or environment that does something to you? And I found myself fully focused while solving the test. I hope the same for you. It will be alright, don’t worry so much!! All the very best!
Hey, very informative video, I will give my first sat attempt and hopefully thr last in October,,, I have one question that how did you practice for the math like where did you get the maths questions etc??
I am very out of touch with the mathematics portion. I took it too but only got a 530. I didn’t have enough time to prepare so I will take it again. But definitely gonna be taking your tips serious.
To practice for the English section, no book is better than the official practice book released by the College Board. So if you find it, great! Otherwise, you may want to try Erica Meltzer’s book, or you might get some help from the Barrons or Princeton Review as well. Good luck!
Hey ! I don't have any device to take DSAT. Do test center provide device for taking digital sat. If yes then what to select in the column asking for "which device you intend to use" in the application form.
If you don’t have a device, you will request one from the college board. While registering for the test, they ask you a question about the device that you’ll be using on the test day. They ask you whether you have a device of your own, or you are going to borrow it from someone, or you want one from the college board. So you just have to select that option that i would like to request a device from the college board.
Yes, I solved questions from both the calculator and no-calculator portions. The only difference is that i used calculator for no-calculator section too. Best of luck for your test!
hello! thank you for the video! i am taking my second dsat in august, do you think i can go to 1510+ from 1310? and also what do you recommend for the word in context questions?
Yes absolutely you can! And i believe that you will! I am making another relevant video about the DSAT where I’ll be discussing about words in context questions in detail. I am sure it would clear your concerns. I am working on it! Best of luck for your next attempt!

@@noob492 I don't know why my message is not working here so please provide me your Instagram id or if you don't have Instagram than snapchat or telegram
Yes, I did. And yes, it is different, but not all of it. The reading part is drastically different, so you should not waste your time practicing those questions. However, the writing section is somewhat similar. You could practice transition questions, punctuations, and other grammar related questions from the Writing sections.
Hey I have my sat on 2nd of dec and I got less that 30 days to prep.. I honestly lost touch even with the basics do u think it’s still possible to score 1500+ ?
No question is a stupid question, you can ask me anything, and I will be glad to help. Yes, you can take it in the 11th grade. In fact, many students start taking the SAT by the 11th grade so that they can get their desired scores by the 12th grade at least before applying to their desired universities. You know, it might be possible that a student may not get his/her desired scores on the first attempt, so they may want to attempt it twice or maybe thrice. But make sure that the university you’re applying to will consider your scores if you attempt it in the 11th grade. Most of the universities do, but some are exceptional. For example, the university I am applying to this year considers SAT scores expired after 1 year. So just make sure of this thing, and start preparing to rock your test!
And digital SAT is not the only thing required by great universities. SAT scores sure do add great value to your college application, and some universities include SAT scores in their requirements for applying. But they do consider your past academic records, your co-curricular activities and community service, etc as well.
At 9:24 what was it you were solving for so many years? I heard reports but couldn't catch the rest, super helpful video by the way. Well done getting such a good score despite reteaching yourself years of maths 40 days in advance.
helloo, than you so mych for your videos. For the reading part you just prepared in khn academy?? because my math and writing is really good but i reall need to improve my reading and i don't know what to do to practice. Becuse i already have the tactics and i did all of the khan academ exercices., but there are not that many questions; i already redid them a lot of times so i know the answers. I am really scared for my reading
Hello. I don’t know how to thank you! Thanks for all your help. I look through the links you sent, however aren’t they about paper-based exam? Because the texts are too long. Do you have any resources about digital sat, pls? I also curious about vocabulary resources for this exam. I will be grateful if you help me on this. Thanks in advance! Wishing u all the best!
I have addressed this question in detail in the other video. I used my own scientific calculator for basic addition, multiplication, etc. And Desmos for some questions regarding linear and quadratic equations.
There is no such thing as passing marks for the SAT as far as I know. However, they follow the criterion of ‘Benchmarks’. The minimum score one could get on the SAT is 400.
thanks for the video i want to ask if the qas reports is affective for english section too ,since it is a lot differences between the dsat and the paper based one
Not as much as it is for the mathematics section, but yes, you may want to use the ‘Writing Section’ only to prepare for the grammar-related questions. Reading portion is very different and irrelevant and i would not recommend you using that part to prepare for the DSAT.
@@ZYProductions_do the bank through which we will be tranfering the money cut some tax too coz i had 103 dollars in the card and while registering for the sat it showed an error. After calling the bank they said you will need to have more money for taxes
It’s completely okay to feel this way. And believe me, you will be relieved to see the actual test, as long as you’re devoting yourself to preparing for the test! And the questions will be similar to the practice tests, I am talking about the 4 practice tests on the Bluebook application. The difficulty level will be more or less the same. So as long as you are doing well on the practice tests, you will do well on your actual test too! Best of luck!!
If you get good scores on the SAT, it will add great value to your university application, especially if you are applying abroad, like the top universities in UK/USA. And some universities even consider the SAT scores as a compulsory requirement to apply, they won’t even consider your application complete without SAT scores.
Hello. I really appreciate you giving us info like this. I will be taking my DSAT in late Augest. Is there any way that we can get the past papers of the already done DSAT? or is it just impossible?
Thank you. And sadly, no. Unlike the paper-based SATs, College Board does not release past papers for the Digital SAT. There are a few discussion groups on Reddit however. Maybe they would help. Best of luck with your test!
Please answer the following question : 1. Is the prep. book suitable for SAT is also suitable for the DSat? 2. Do I really need to follow some books like college panda and others to cut a good figure?
Hello. I would say that both were almost the same. In terms of the difficulty level and the type of questions asked, they were both pretty much the same.
hey, thank you a lot. i am freaking out for the DSATs in august. can you tell how many tests you took and from where u got all of them? And wt are the QS reportd? i dont understand wt is that.
Hello! There’s absolutely no need to freak out. I am sure that you would do great!! Also i took practice tests from the Bluebook app and some QAS reports too. QAS stands for Question and Answers Service. These are actually the past official SAT papers. You can use them for mathematics portion because it is almost identical in the DSAT. Also, i used a few QAS reports to prepare for the Writing portion of English. You can have a look at those. I have added the link in the pinned comment. Best of luck!
QAS reports or Questions and Answers Services are the official, past SAT papers that are released by the College Board. You can find them in the link I have provided here, or from Reddit.
Hey there!!! Congratulations on the good score! I had a query: when you finished taking the exam, were you satisfied with all of your in both sections (R&W + M)? Were you hesitant/unsure of a few answers?
Hi, Could you explain the device requirements for the test day because it is very confusing on the portal? They say that you can use your personal device or a managed device... how was your SAT test day and what did you prepare for the day?
Hello. You should definitely take your own device with you on the test day if you have one. You could take an iPad, or a laptop, or other allowed devices. It is always better to take your own device with you, but if you don’t have access to a device, you can request one from the college board while registering for the test. I hope i am clear with this :)
My test day’s experience was great! You should try regulating your sleep cycle according to the test day so that you feel energetic on the test day. I took my iPad, my admission ticket, passport, two pens, and some candies and chocolates with me to the test centre.
You can easily download it from the App Store. You just have to search for the ‘Bluebook’ and you’ll find it quite easily. Please let me know if you still don’t find it.

Will practicing questions of math from pencil paper SAT will be ok? As the SAT is now digital version
Pls lemme know if you figured that out 🙏🏻
I am struggling with punctuation
Any tips or resources for that?
I watched a bunch of RUclips videos for that and they worked for me!
Watch a few videos first to have clear concepts, and then solve punctuation drills and other punctuation questions from the QAS reports as well.
do you have any tips on how to not space out? I'm dealing with it increasingly in reading these days and I just don't know how to get out of it
I understand your problem, this was exactly my case.
Okayy thank you for your advice!!!
You can do it! Best of luck!!
Do you need a Tutor
Thanks For the info. Is there any book you would recommend for the English section?
To practice for the English section, no book is better than the official practice book released by the College Board. So if you find it, great! Otherwise, you may want to try Erica Meltzer’s book, or you might get some help from the Barrons or Princeton Review as well.
Good luck!
@@ZYProductions_Thank you I have Erica Meltzers book. I will practice that one
@@block8526best of luck! You are going to rock it!!

So you just have to select that option that i would like to request a device from the college board.
while solving the qas reports did you solve no calculator section too ? Do you think doing no calculator section is unnecessary to solve ?
@@manwithtie6708 Oh my bad
Yes, I solved questions from both the calculator and no-calculator portions. The only difference is that i used calculator for no-calculator section too.
Best of luck for your test!

i am taking my second dsat in august, do you think i can go to 1510+ from 1310?
and also what do you recommend for the word in context questions?

hey
how did you practice English in past papers its different right
Yes, I did. And yes, it is different, but not all of it. The reading part is drastically different, so you should not waste your time practicing those questions. However, the writing section is somewhat similar. You could practice transition questions, punctuations, and other grammar related questions from the Writing sections.
Is SAT only based on multiple choice?
Yes
Thank you so much..your a life saver TvT💕
You are welcome
excuse me, I want to ask does the khan academy has the preparation for the new digital SAT?
Yes. There is a whole new course available at the Khan Academy about the DSAT.
Hey I have my sat on 2nd of dec and I got less that 30 days to prep.. I honestly lost touch even with the basics do u think it’s still possible to score 1500+ ?
Hey, how is your progress? How many you are getting from bluebook practices?
How much did you scored
Do you think we should use QAS test for improving Reading and Writing part as well?
Do they provide rough paper for math ?
Yes, they will provide you with 3 A4 sheets most probably.
Okay! So maybe this is a stupid question
But can I give the sat in 11th
And
Also is dsat enough to get me in the top universities?
Hi, I have a question. Did you study the Digital SAT or the SAT in Khan Academy?
Hello. I studied the DSAT version, the new one. The old version is quite different so it was of no use or very little use.
helloo, than you so mych for your videos. I am really scared for my reading
do you get our own calculator for the DSAT???
Yes, you can either take your own or just use the in-built desmos graphing calculator if you are comfortable with its use.
Which calculator you have used for the math section?
Did you buy a new handy calculator or used the one in the app even for the exam
I have addressed this question in detail in the other video.
I used my own scientific calculator for basic addition, multiplication, etc. And Desmos for some questions regarding linear and quadratic equations.

What is the pass mark for the SAT
There is no such thing as passing marks for the SAT as far as I know. However, they follow the criterion of ‘Benchmarks’.
The minimum score one could get on the SAT is 400.
Can you guide me registering the Dsat
where do you solve math questions on the DSAT
They provide you with some sheets in the test center. They give 3 blank sheets mostly to do the rough work for your mathematics questions.
thanks for the video
i want to ask if the qas reports is affective for english section too ,since it is a lot differences between the dsat and the paper based one
Not as much as it is for the mathematics section, but yes, you may want to use the ‘Writing Section’ only to prepare for the grammar-related questions. Reading portion is very different and irrelevant and i would not recommend you using that part to prepare for the DSAT.
Congratulations🎉🥂
Please I would like to ask concerning the payment for the DSAT are we to pay in dollars or our home country currency??
Thank you.
You pay the equivalent of 103 or i guess 104 dollars in your country’s currency.
@@ZYProductions_do the bank through which we will be tranfering the money cut some tax too coz i had 103 dollars in the card and while registering for the sat it showed an error. After calling the bank they said you will need to have more money for taxes
Hey, I'm kindly asking for a list of the youtube channels and materials that helped you prepare for the DSAT
Hello. I have provided links to those in the pinned comment under this video :)
@@ZYProductions_ thanks
I am scared of my DSAT because my test is on 26th augest and don't know what will question be like. I am mainly scared about English paper
Best of luck!!
you can try Errica for English and for more Question Practice You can Try Khan academy or Mentomind.
Any website for mock test on new module?
The practice tests on the Bluebook app are more than enough i guess. But if you want to practice more, you can always subscribe to online courses.

@@ZYProductions_ whats the benefits of cracking this exam ? If a +3 1st yr student will give the exam than what after it ? Plz can u tell me diii
If you get good scores on the SAT, it will add great value to your university application, especially if you are applying abroad, like the top universities in UK/USA. And some universities even consider the SAT scores as a compulsory requirement to apply, they won’t even consider your application complete without SAT scores.

Hi,
How do you rate actual paper you faced and available practice tests . Which one is somewhat difficult ?
Hello. I would say that both were almost the same. In terms of the difficulty level and the type of questions asked, they were both pretty much the same.
How long did you take exactly to prepare for the whole dsat?
Hello. It took me approximately 40-50 days to prepare.
hey, thank you a lot. i am freaking out for the DSATs in august. can you tell how many tests you took and from where u got all of them? And wt are the QS reportd? i dont understand wt is that.
Hello! There’s absolutely no need to freak out. I am sure that you would do great!!
Also i took practice tests from the Bluebook app and some QAS reports too. QAS stands for Question and Answers Service. These are actually the past official SAT papers. You can use them for mathematics portion because it is almost identical in the DSAT. Also, i used a few QAS reports to prepare for the Writing portion of English. You can have a look at those. QAS reports or Questions and Answers Services are the official, past SAT papers that are released by the College Board. You can find them in the link I have provided here, or from Reddit.
Does question are repeated in SAT?
No, they are not repeated. You may find some ‘similar’ questions, but not the exact ‘same’ questions. The ideas and concepts might get repeated.

Hello. You should definitely take your own device with you on the test day if you have one. You could take an iPad, or a laptop, or other allowed devices. It is always better to take your own device with you, but if you don’t have access to a device, you can request one from the college board while registering for the test.
