I can totally understand this "travelling bug". I'm from France and I went on Erasmus in Groningen in my third year of my Bachelor's studies. Then, I didn't want to go back to France so I moved to Ireland where I worked as a French Language Assistant and as an au-pair. And finally, I moved to Germany last summer to re-start my studies. Now I think I'm gonna stay here as I moved here with my Italian partner whom I met two years ago during my Erasmus. Living abroad was one of the best choices of my life.
This video might awaken my motivation to study abroad I am a person who think degree is useless, but I agree with everything she said "Studying abroad is not about studying", but finding yourself indeed!
This is a very attainable dream. Look at the university you are enrolled in's study abroad program and whether or not they have an appropriate one for your interests.
I studied abroad in France my junior year of college and had such an amazing time! Not saying it was always easy, but I learned so much and grew so much as a person. In fact, I decided my time abroad wasn't finished yet, and I just moved back to France! I'm posting all about it on my channel if anyone is interested :)
I do now a study abroad in Germany. Which is coming to an end. I've grown a lot, since During covid I didn't really grow because of me not able to be a "student". Now I was dorms, bring uncomfortable, with German roommates, I learned so much. So much that I want to go to do my masters abroad. Not because I need the degree, but for the expierence. And self Growth. I am Asian, and I never thought of "personal growth", but this is my time to grow. One day I'll be 40-50 years, and then I'll wished I had made these expierence. In top of that, I would have a nice masters degree haha.
I want to go study in the UK and get bachelor's degree there but since I think I won't meet the requirements I want to work harder and I think this might just be my new motivation.

Been here in japan on an exchange for 2 days and I'm having a good time. Met a couple of people both international and local students. It's going to be hard for the next few days or weeks (paper work in Japan is off the charts :/) but at I'll get used to life here after awhile. Can't wait to sharpen my japanese with the locals.
Yes, even though everything may not be great. This experience is something you wouldn't trade for the world. Japan in particular is so rich in culture and the people there and their way of life is so different and eye opening, especially for a young person.
From Bangladesh, i went to Netherlands for my Masters. Best time of my life making life long friends from so many different countries. After completing my Ph.d from Penn State - NY became my home teaching at SUNY and now started my own non profit again back in Bangladesh . i wouldnt be me if I didn’t take that step to apply for the Netherlands scholarship program which transformed me completely.
I'm a fresh high school grad from Bangladesh. I did everything for getting scholarship but now when it's the tym for applying I'm feeling guilty as my parents are old, they've no one who'll take care of them, will it be selfish if i left them just for my education who actually brought me up in the most wonderful way Alhamdulillah?

I was able to culture exchange in Pakistan for a summer, studied in Turkey for a semester and am hoping to finish my undergraduate studies abroad in Japan (long story LMAO) I do believe it's so important to see the world and come to your own conclusions. One thing i realize is that i don't want to have regrets, and i don't want to come to conclusions until every part of me has been challenged. If the door opens, then go :) if not, then that's fine too. just go and allow yourself to be challenged and uncomfortable (with reason tho of, LOL)
Definitely! Obviously, it's been harder to achieve this past year, but here's hoping more students can get back to studying abroad very soon! Where are you planning to go?
Research a program or group to go with and scholarship opportunities so you can get financial benefits and prepare to answer their questions about safety and money, those are the two biggest issues. But you can do it!
