Anti-RGB (white is R+G+B, so the opposite would be black), I have the power/ HD LED mostly hidden on my system. So I'm definitely a fan!
Saying that, it does look great. I can see a lot of time went into that.
I'm in London and looking to get a new case (brought a 3950x & 5700xt last year). I'd be interested in commissioning a stealth build with only minimal accents of RGB/ Green (just enough to make out the shapes similar to the new Xbox). Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.

I ordered one of the black coolers as soon as Linus announced them on his channel. Literally paused the video and ordered the L9i with AM4 mounting kit. Worked perfectly for a R5 3600 SFF build I was doing. For me it was the color of stock Noctua fans that caused me to rarely use them (maybe 10% of the time in builds). With the introduction of Chromax fans, it's now a 50/50 split with them or bequiet! fans.

What chemical do you use to strip the anodizing? And do you re-clear them to prevent future oxidizing?

You mentioned you have trouble capturing time lapses on your 3D printer. I'm using Octoprint to drive my custom built RepRap style 3D printer. Octoprint has a plugin called Octolapse which allows you to pause the print at each step and reposition the printer to get a consistent image every time. This allows for beautiful time lapses with a static camera. Also you can do tricks like move the print head off of the print to make it look as if it's growing by itself.

    • @bittech1
