I have seen several reviews of this truck already. It looks pretty tough but at $300 it's competing with the Arrma 3S line in price. That's going to be a tough row to hoe. I'm not really an Arrma guy but the 3S line is faster and has tons of aftermarket support. I think folks will pay the extra $29 for the Arrma.
Yeah but Arrma had zero support in the beginning. This is their first try at a 10th scale and it's not bad $280 I think It comes in at could be $290 I'm not sure exactly just yet.
@@rcguygarage $299 on their own site. So $29 cheaper than a 3S Arrma. I think it will be huge in the UK but won't do well here at all. If it was $249 it would probably sell like crazy. But I will buy one anyway just because they finally made a real 1:10 scale.

I'm very happy paying $30 more for my Granite BLX 6 weeks ago. I'm happy MJX are offering more competition in a kinda stagnant marketplace, but with how problematic the jump from 16th scale MJX to 14th scale MJX, handling and durability-wise, I'm predicting some major hiccups and headaches for the sake of saving $30.

@@rcguygarage oh yeah for sure! Totally get that. But… Traxxas does employ a couple hundred here in Texas, who spend their money in the local economy. China gets a smaller percentage. Same with Horizon out of Illinois. Better than nothing I suppose.

Great video, I've been curious about this 10th scale since i heard it was dropping. Good, exciting ideas melded with other strange choices: sounds like a large MJX truck for sure. They made some weird decisions with the H14BM, and i am not surprised at some weird decisions on the 10th scale truck. I'm glad I already have my Granite, otherwise i would have considered this truck, and i am not sure MJX has scaled the durability and proportions properly. I like the app tuning idea, and it's smart to not include batteries, but hopefully the battery tray will support standard sized lipos. The tires seem a little small as well, and I'd have liked to see a wider stance as well. Because if the H14BM is anything to go by, MJX do underestimate the proper width of their larger vehicles.
