Another great job. My Parker poops in the parking lot or on the floor when we get to the vet or groomer. He’s a nervous pooper. Then he calms down. He even does it when we take him to the boarder and he loves going there. I think some of these judgmental comments on this one are 🙄.
Yeah some dogs just poop lol. Also, I’ve learned from my experience with uploading on RUclips, some people just want something negative to say, they also expect to say something negative and not get a response. But the biggest thing, a lot of people do not truly understand dogs and that they are animals not humans people have birth too. It’s an interesting thing to watch these people in the comments make statements about something they saw 30mins of and not the whole process lol. I see it even when I watch other people’s personal channels. They pass judgement off of an edited video lol.
True. Plus, people think their experience with their own dogs make them as knowledgeable as a person whose entire career is dedicated to grooming. Literally makes zero sense. I’m also perturbed by an owner possibly trying to manipulate a groomer to do something a dog may not be ready for. It’s selfish and puts their “wants” ahead of the pup’s well-being. On a lighter note, you took me out when you told him he was licking the same pe pe he’s always had. 🤣. I fuss at mine too when they start that around me.
🤣🤣🤣 they always find a time during the grooming session to self clean, do that on your own time 😂😂 Yes, these people in these comments are so interesting 😂
I’m going to need some merch in the future (preferably a shirt) that says “I need the foot”. I appreciated the desensitization you did before you actually shaved him, because, you’re aware of his issues. If the owners did some counterconditioning work, I think he would progress in leaps and bounds by his next appointment. That kind of stimuli is so, so important, so I just wanted to give you kudos on that. You could have very easily said, “Let’s just get this over with..” and plowed through it, but the fact that you didn’t really separates the adequate from the exceptional groomers ❤️
Thank you for saying medication does not fix behavioral issues because as a trainer myself so many people go to medication without realizing they’re missing so much more but they want a quick simple fix
Jax looks great, beautiful color. Sorry, but I don't understand your title today, think he did a pretty good job of behaving---there were a lot of things going on that distracted him. Thanks for sharing.
@@jeanettelong-i6j in the video I stated it was for his first groom that he was really bad and I was proud of how he behaved for this groom. I talked about it during the bath. I talked about him acting that way because they medicated him and I said during his groom that he was better this visit because he wasn’t medicated. Y’all may have missed it. I know sometimes people mute the video and just watch the groom but it was all explained during the video.

Do they make a relaxing body shampoo for dogs the way they make for humans? (Like Dr. Teal) Jax responded well to you without any meds. As always you worked your magic and he turned out great!👍👍👍
That's a highly sensitive dog. He's not crazy, he's terrified! To the point that he literally shat himself. I've groomed my own standard poodles for 30 years. You can't just dominate them when there's an issue, or run the clipper without cutting and think that's solved it. You need to read the dog's response and work with it. I think you need sensitising about dog psychology.
@@pennypistorius197 I think you need to listen to what I said in the video. If you did, this comment wouldn’t be necessary…but then again, some people just like to go off 🤷🏾

Sounds like the owner still sent him medicated and medicated does not always mean that’s the right thing to do or the dog will have a good reaction to it
He did good! Glad you were able to give him a haircut ❤🐶
