This guide will detail the process that I used to make every painting In The Sims 4, including all of the problems that I faced and how these problems were overcome. It'll also highlight the funny or quirky moments involved in painting all of the paintings as well. Not to mention, this video will also show you how these are uploaded to the gallery, and from here you'll be able to download and use these paintings in your builds.

Something I’ve noticed is that sims become stylized when they become regular painters just like artists irl.
My sim became really good at surrealism and impressionism style painting - she’d create masterpieces and excellent quality every time.
She wasn’t good at traditional and realistic style paintings and would paint normal paintings despite being level 10 painting skill with a degree and completing the master painting aspiration.
It’s pretty cool how that happened and added a lot of realism to my gameplay

I made a masterpiece of every painting, required a perfectionist trait, right mood, and some reward trait I guess, then some repeating until I've got them

Omg I knew there were a lot of paintings but I had no idea they were over 350! I swear my Sims will paint like the same 10-15 paintings. 😂

Dear Plumbob, that's a lot of paintings! I tip my hat to you for having the patience to do them all in all sizes. It's kinda of too late now, but in case you ever have to deal with the burnouts for a video again, TwistedMexi has made a mod to disable them altogether: Burnout Toggle.
What stuns me is how many of these I have actually seen. There seem to be only a handful that my Sims haven't painted, and many of those seemed to be the Surrealism ones I just don't enjoy, and never have my Sims paint. When my Sims paint a Masterpiece, I place it in a one tile room and save it to the library. Someday, there will be an art museum in San Myshuno with every perfect piece, painted by my Sims... It will take me forever, but we all need goals. Thanks for you sacrifice. This is a very cool compilation. We all suffer a little for "science".

Super interesting how some paintings are repeats from The Sims 3, I can recognize a few of them.
(Mostly because I love experiments like this, so I had two households in Ts3 with around 20 Sims with different traits and painting levels in general and made them all paint a small, medium and large one to see the differences)

I have a Sim who does nothing but paint with a goal of owning a masterpiece level of each painting and make a display of them. Now that Petey has done this I feel like I can let that go and do something new.

I love this, thank you for taking the time! I would love to see this amount of detail to other crafting things in the game. There's still so few things you can do with the Woodworking table, Candle making, etc.

glad im not the only one trying this insane challenge while exploiting the club gathering function. i am grateful to learn why theyre obsessed with figure paintings and how to remedy that! id just been making them scrap the painting the second i saw thats what they were working on, which is way more annoying

Maybe you missed some!!! In Sims 3 my female alien could paint one of the female blue aliens from Mass effect, which is also an EA game. I think they were called Asari. I have never had a regular human or other magical sim able to paint it. So maybe Sims 4 has something like that too? Back to the drawing table Petey! :D

How do I find them to download? I watched this at the time on my tv but being visually impaired I couldn't see your username. I might have missed the video but have you considered doing the same for the cross-stitch designs?
