I have made my own custom kit and cranked the reverb and the EQ. I use snare 74. Like a marching snare but with the reverb and EQ it's like a cannon. Its awesome!! Its fun playing with the module. Great video. Enjoy your kit man.
Hey man, In the past month I’ve been trying to learn the drums on this kit but I never know what kit to use due to the different songs I try to learn it’s hard to find that perfect kit that sounds like a drum set. If you could lmk some pointers or tips to finding the kit it would help a lot.
@@lukefanning7572 If you buy a MIDI usb cable and an audio interface, you could plug the kit into your computer and use sounds on your PC. They will sound a million times better than the sounds on the kit itself if your willing to pay a little bit more. As for the programs, theres plenty of free ones that you can get or programs that arent too expensive.
Thanks for doing this video, but it's still somewhat confusing. All I want to do is create a custom kit using different sounds from the preset kits. For example, I want a kit that has the snare sound from from preset 7, the base from 12, toms from 3, cymbals from 7, etc. Is this possible?
From what I learned from Alesis, once you modify a preset, it forces you to save it to numbers U25-U40. It's really confusing. It would be great to just be able to modify the presets alone and save your mods on their very own numbers instead of saving them to the "U" numbers. What's even more confusing is that the U numbers are also presets themselves so it's like replacing those presets with your own modifications. Good thing about this is that now you can have all your mods grouped up between U25-40. If anybody has other experiences, please share. Otherwise, I hope this helps. Aloha.

The surge and nitro mesh have the same module- this applies to both sets.

Yeah you gotta go through every one and find out which one is which and then customize one to your liking
Thank you very much
When you tuned and did all that I didn’t see you hit save on the module.
Thank you for the video. It helped me a lot!♥️
Thank you! Great job
Thank You!!!!!!!!
Hey thanks for explaiing this! I was wondering how to do this because the menu seemed a little counterintuitive.
Thanks for doing this!!
I bought a nitro drum kit second hand, so had no handbook. This was great .
The manual is available online in PDF form.
So did this modify the existing kit 001 or did it create a new custom one?
