I like that he narrates the lore/story while he gets all the achievements in the game. Makes the video 10x more enjoyable. When I watched other videos with the completionist style it is completely different.
100%, most people I've seen just say the name of the achievement, play a clip of them unlocking it and reading the name, saying nice, then doing it again for all achievements, it has no structure or flow.

so fun fact about the camera battery system: even if the battery runs out, you can still use night vision! it's just a reduced vision range, which is what makes the hardest-difficulty-no-battery runs more reasonable.

I 100%'d Outlast and Whistleblower, and absolutely grinded for months on Outlast 2, trying to get the Messiah trophy alone with all the other harder ones in one run (no hiding, complete under 4 hours, etc) Got so far so many times and ended up giving up motivation and never going back to it (which I regret because now I have lost all memory of the game) Main run killer was the two in the forest with the bow, and furtherest I got was in one certain school section that I'm unsure as to which it was, but I remember it being outside, watching this sparked interest in trying again but god, with all the lost skill, muscle memory, and everything else, I just can't bring myself to trying again
There is a couple of trophy/achievement hunter channels but I find yours the most entertaining and best edited with really good commentary. Great work 👍🏼

I've got well over 150 hours across the 2 (and a half) games. Most of that comes from me manipulating the config files to make the game harder (faster enemies, quicker battery loss, easier detection, stuff like that) And yet it took me several years to finally complete the Insane mode achievements. I'd be evil not to give you my well-earned push of the funny red button.

The guide i’ve been watching has an extremely luck based strat right there but the one you used is a much more viable and reliable option. I love outlast but by no means would I call it the best horror game of all time. There's way better horror games out there and they have more to do other than run and hide.

Took me 5 days for the messiah trophy tho I must say i didn’t watch no videos and learned every way etc on my own. Tho u have my respect I Gotta flex a bit tho haha My friend asked me to do the trophy for him and I got it on the first try.
I don't know why, but if you play Outlast 1 on Xbox, there are 18 trophies instead of 14. One of them consists in beating the game in insane difficulty without recharging the camera batteries and another one consists in beating the game without hiding in lockers or under beds (actually it's easier than it seems)

I only got the courage to finish the plat 4 years later Watching you go through those Laird sections gave me PTSD

I actually managed to do an Insane run on my 2nd attempt for Outlast 1. The first attempt I lost at the very start tryna dart past him at the first locker but after that I actually managed to basically do it in my first serious attempt. Whistleblower I still haven’t done tho. Flopped that serious attempt 🗿

Man. I need to ask for opinions. I played Outlast 1 years ago. And going back for Insanity on main game + DLC sounds fun. However, are these games somewhat RNG or does a guide serve as a “easy win”? Cause back in the day, not only did I abandon the games cause of lack of time, but also because apparently Chris Walker is a 1 hit kill and he kinda chases you during the endgame.
There is pretty much no rng involved in the first game + DLC. Outlast 2 however has a ton of RNG in some areas that forces you to adapt quickly to situations.
I play on Xbox so i got on more to get on outlast 1 finish the game in insane with 1 batterie i did it so Now i finish outlast 1 and dlc outlast 2 un coming 😅

Why would you even hide in the first place? That's probably the easiest achievement you can get, by just playing the game.

At release the first Martha encounter was insane and using audio on your cam drained battery. It was absolutely insane and difficult.
