pretty video. whopee. It would have been nice to HEAR what you are doing and why. The video doesn't explain jack about what you are doing, how it helps, what it is for. Not a blasted thing. I've seen lots of youtube videos about hydroponics and my wife and I would like to get into it. But cut the cutesy wootsey music and explain things..... You give a list of materials. But no instruction about how to use them, what to do. Nothing. Why not put a link to download the instructions and drawings? Failing that can you email a how-to or actual instructional information? or am i supposed to have cosmic powers to understand things?????

What was the mechanical design advantage to having the schedule 40 PVC 16mm inside the Schedule 80 32mm pipe? Was this just to act as a flow restrictor - without creating smaller holes? [almost like an ebb and flow system]

A közepén lévő kis 5 rétegű cső és a 40 es PVC cső közötti összefüggést nem nagyon értem. Elmagyaráznád?

Ha csak egy sima cső lenne benne, akkor az alsó rész vizes lenne a felső meg száraz. Ezért van ez a speciális cső kialakítva, hogy fentről lefele fokozatosan telik meg a cső vízzel. A legtöbb víz felül folyik ki ami a gravitáció hatására lefele mozog a toronyban.

160mm sewer pipe is a lot cheaper (£23/3m here in the uk) You can also use 150mm or 200mm rigid pvc ducting which has a 1.5mm wall but its very sturdy once you have formed the pockets.

Kösz jól működik, igaz már nem eper van benne. Mivel nincs nyomás a rendszerben ezért szerintem a csepegtető nem működne, de ki lehet próbálni.

The slits are a quarter of the circumference, approx 157mm. You can save a lot of time if you make a template out of thin card, basically cut a 100mm x 650mm strip of thin card. Wrap it around the sewer pipe and tape the join to form a sliding cylinder. Mark the middle and end positions of the slots on the top and bottom edge of the template .The top and bottom slots will be staggered. To use the template simply align the template edge with the starting line and mark the 4 slots, slide the template up and rotate it so the slots you just drew on the tube align with the slots on the bottom of the template. You can now draw next row of slots using the top edge of the template. Rinse and repeat until all the slots are marked. If you have more than one tower to do you can transfer the template by sliding it off the tube onto an end plug.
