Coming from the Melee community, and as a former Ludwig viewer when he had less than 10k subs on YT, I can confirm him being a little clout goblin who will suck off whoever in the room he can get the most out of is nothing new, its what hes always done to grow. Also having watched him back when his content was more genuine and he wasnt so brand safe, its very obvious to me he is towing many lines that he doesn’t genuinely believe in to maintain the approval of the in-group. I feel like we need a different term for “structural racism”. Racism implies an intentionality that I just dont think exists anymore, structural disadvantage seems like a more appropriate word because structures and systems are developed/designed with certain advantages toward some (usually the majority group that is developing the system) and as a consequence, others are left behind or at a disadvantage. For example Jim Crow laws would be systemic racism, but once that aspect was removed, there’s systemic disadvantages for some groups. I think this is the fundamental point a lot of conservatives try to make but they don’t have enough brain cells to rub together to make that argument they just screech and say that systemic racism (structural disadvantage) doesn’t exist.

I feel like we need a different term for “structural racism”. Racism implies an intentionality that I just dont think exists anymore, structural disadvantage seems like a more appropriate word because structures and systems are developed/designed with certain advantages toward some (usually the majority group that is developing the system) and as a consequence, others are left behind or at a disadvantage. For example Jim Crow laws would be systemic racism, but once that aspect was removed, there’s systemic disadvantages for some groups. I think this is the fundamental point a lot of conservatives try to make but they don’t have enough brain cells to rub together to make that argument they just screech and say that systemic racism (structural disadvantage) doesn’t exist.
