We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Nuremberg, Germany on June 2019.
Nuremberg is the second-largest city of the German federal state of Bavaria and it's the 14th largest city in Germany. It is remembered as the site of the 1930's Nazi Party Rallies, the Allied bombings during the war, and the post-war Nuremberg trials.
Our guided walking tour is about 2.3 miles (3.7 km) long, starts at Royal Craftsmen Courtyard, ends at St. Jacob's Church and covers most attractions and historic sites of Nuremberg Old Town.

A breath of fresh air for people who currently can't have vacations (can't even go outside!). Thanks for the video!
Damn, it looks really cool actually. When you live there this beauty seems to fade, but good to see another perspective
no its a great city
I am from Pakistan, I have my memories of living in HersBruck , a nearby small town of NurnBerg, on weak end i usually visit to NurnBerg for shopping etc . that was a nice time , i was young, German peoples are very nice, after seeing this video i reached in my Past 30 years before. Thanks for uploading this video
What did you do in Germany?

hi Pops, which is the best month to visit with minimal tourists?
I do alot of film photography and would like to avoid the masses.
Thanks:)
@@BrianLarmay Not Summer or Spring, a lot of people go outside in this time. But you can try it at fall, it's really beautiful at that season
Unfortunately Nuremberg is quite popular with tourists. All in all, I think Christmas season is the busiest because the city is home to the most famous Christmas market in Germany. Overall, my favourite seasons in Germany are spring and autumn, especially May and October are beautiful. The weather is usually beautiful, neither too hot nor too cold and nature is the state of transition. I think for Nuremberg, as for many popular places around the world, it’s more important to plan your travel wisely to avoid crowds. Skip famous places and go on day trips to discover surrounding areas. Visit popular places in the early morning or at night. Take photos of lesser known things and make your own bucket list. Consider traveling to places that have similar features (old houses ect, depending on what you’re after) but are less famous. Many German cities have half-timbered houses and some kind of cute streets and Medieval architecture. Public transport in Germany is not the best but it’s always possible to reach even small remote villages by train, bus or hiking so it’s possible to discover a well-hidden treasure far from the crowds.
I did the same when I visited Kyoto which is 1000 time more touristy than Nurmenberg. I was able to take stunning photos at night and enjoy little known places all by myself. Rather than thinking about the season think about what you want to see and experience, there will always be some tourists. That said, January to March are probably the least popular times for a holiday in Germany as the weather is cold, rainy and grey. However, it might be hard to get any good photos during this time unless you’re merely interested in architecture or taking photos of the interior of buildings.
So...did he ?
As a german I never thought of Nurnberg being so beautiful :D. Nice walking tour!
My husband and I were stationed in Furth, then (1969-70) only five miles from Nuremberg, and were amazed at the architecture. After WWII that almost destroyed the town of Nuremberg, the architects were asked to restore the town back to the original time period. They accomplished that goal.
Part of the German Miracle.
Wow...
I was stationed there from 1976-1979 loved the walking tour, but not surprised they omitted THE WALL (red light district) window shopping in that area was an education
I just got back from Nuremberg about a month ago. I went to the Christmas Market, amazing. I was stationed in Furth about 35 yrs ago. Visited my old Army base. I enjoyed my stay very much, even more than when I was a soldier.
Greetings from Luxembourg, I have visited Nuremberg last year, it's brilliant city, I love it. Thanks for this amazing video:-)
I live here...youtube recomendations scare me sometimes..stop spying me!!
That's what I tought omg 😂😂

So nice to walk with you whitout getting tired. 😁
I lived in Neumarkt about 40km from Nuremberg for 6 years and used to always visit the Christmas market. Very interesting history to the place.
I actually walked with you patiently as you showed us the beautiful city. Good Job!! I lived in Hamburg many years back but now back home. Happy to see a German city from your perspective.
I was Stationed in Furth during the 70s. Furth boarders Nuremburg. How lucky I was to have lived in such a beautiful place. I will never forget this place and my biggest wish is to return.
what a beautiful city!
I had a week's holiday in Nuremberg - with day trips to Bamberg and Regensberg. Loved it so much, one of Europe's finist Cities!
Naja mein altes nbg.
Gorgeous! Looks out of a storybook! 🏰 🥰😍
I really miss traveling and exploring new places/cultures...thank you for the beautiful video that allowed me to escape for a bit.
Worth every minute strolling along with you. I've been to Nuremberg three times in my life, but not since 1982. And then I was using a VHS portable VCR and camera. 4K and a gimbal bring so much realism to the surroundings. 📹 😀
Whoever recorded this has to be extremely fit. They walked over an hour and took no breaks. I'm amazed by how beautiful that city is. It's a must visit for me.
💯
Enjoyed all the views along your walk!
Greetings from Florida. Thank you for this beautiful video. Very nicely done. My home town!
Nicest walking tour I've seen in Germany. Kind regards from Edinburgh Scotland.
How is life in Scotland
Watching this while listening to Canon in D, You can feel back to the past. Sweet
Yes, Pachelbel lived in Nuremberg und worked in the church of St. Sebald
The best online to. On RUclips! I lived in Nurnberg for two years while serving my country in the USArmy. Your tour is how I saw the city. It brings back so many find memories .
Saw the apartment building where I lived in 1970-71 on Albrecht Durer Platz. It was great to see the Altstadt again. The best thing about this video is that there is no narration and no music.
Ich Liebe Nürnberg ❤️From PH
I'm a Londoner who's fortunate enough to be living in Nuremberg, the greatest city on earth.
Wow I am a person who is from Nuremberg and is moving now permanetly to London. Why you prefer Nuremberg over London?
@@hoenesstempel London is a great city, and I'm proud to be a Londoner, but it's also expensive, overcrowded and, because of crime, in some areas quite dangerous. In Nuremberg I can afford a nice flat near the centre of the city, and I feel that I go anywhere in the city at any time I want to go there. But good luck in London - I'm sure you'll have a great time.
@@johnke7 good choice!
Will be in Nuremberg in july! Lived there from 1980 to 1996. Thank you for this video! Great job, brings back memories:)
Nobody cares lol
Wonderful. enjoyed the walk, Thanks for the upload.
I’m just loving loving and loving 🥰 the city while watching video, video quality is great and cameraman skills too 👌
amazing beauty and thanks for the walk with you
My first visit to Nuremberg I saw a lot of WWII war damage. The city has been beautifully restored. I remember going to their Christmas market, the biggest one in Germany. Ein shones stadt.

Great video, I miss Germany so much so have taken to waking on the spot whilst having these videos playing in my vr headset.
Thanks for great walking experience!
Wow it's very nice place. Thanks for touring us around. Fan from Philippines here..
My Birth City, I used to walk every inch of this city right with you, the only difference on most of the only walk areas now, there used to be tracks for the Straßenbahn. I lived in Nürnberg my first 24 years and now reside in the USA. Awesome video and thanks for reliving my youth
Is it better living in USA compaing with Germany? or your birth city? Nuremberg seems absolutely amaizing.
Elkin Esteban Leiva. No I think Nuremberg Germany is better because there’s more history and so. But that my opinion. I just personally like Europe more.
I lived there for a few years in the 1980s, and there were Strassenbahns everywhere. Aren't they there anymore?
hehe
This almost makes it feel like I can go outside and be around humans. Thank you very much for this.
Sizinle birlikte gezmiş gibi olmak😆 hep keyifli. Teşekkürler 👏💐

Ja das ist auch schade
Thanks for this awesome video. I was born in Nuernberg and love to go back as often as I can. Unfortunately I'm stuck in Florida due to the Covid virus. I had planned on visiting my parents for my dad's 91st birthday in April but the travel ban has been extended and I won't be able to go anytime soon. You did a wonderful job describing everything and the city is shown in a beautiful way! Thank you for doing that! Love it!
I lived there from about 1980 to 82, on Wiesental Str., by the West Bad. I was an ex G.I. who stayed in Germany a few years after getting discharged.
and the usa is not so beautiful?
We were supposed to be there today, this tour helped us visit virtually, really enjoyed it.
Good work 😁
My hometown. Most beautiful city.

Thank you.
I really can't get over how beautiful this place is! I must visit this city some day.
Well there are lots of old towns like Nuremberg in Germany..try Heidelberg..
Bamberg..
Rothenburg..
Quedlinburg..
Mondschau..Celle etc.
@Sweet Pea ... and Nuremberg used to be way more beautiful before the massive destructions in WWII. Concerning historical old city centres I'd recommend Regensburg, Erfurt, Heidelberg and Görlitz, too.
hopefully
Keyifle ☕eşliğinde videolarini izlemeye devam 👏🌷

Absolutely loved visiting Nuremberg with my ex girlfriend in December 2019 before the world went mad. Loved the xmas markets and I recognise loads of it from virtually revisiting it once more.
