I always loved Little House, and never missed it. When "Albert" joined the show, it seemed to get better. The girls just needed a brother and Ma and Pa just needed a son. Excellent show.
I have such a crush on Matthew- an adorable boy and a great child actor who grew into such a handsome man! You could tell Michael loved Matthew as an actor because he gave him such tough storylines, and Matt did a great job with all of it. Those two had a great dynamic right from the start.
The connection and depth these two had transended into every scene they ever did. Absolutely stunning. And "Albert", good heavens the cutest thing on TV. That series is now a classic and I still watch reruns; cry, laugh, smile. Landon was nothing short of gifted. I miss the warmth of his work, he was brilliant.
I didn't know why my mom loved the show back then but now I do... I emailed her and told her I understood now why and that I'm watching the show. I'm on season 6 now and just finished the episode where Mr Edwards was back.
I just finished season 5 and by golly, Albert was an excellent addition, the character was well fleshed out being a street smart kid but also this actor is excellently suited for it. A perfect match that adds an even greater value to the show.
