born in the early mid sixties, i was brought up in the 60ies and 70ies. These kinda pictures might know everyone who was raised in this era and had grandparents and parents spending their prescious holidays in the Bavarian or Austrian alps. Many of those of my age will have a cardbox filled with loads of pictures or dias like these, of their grandparents or parents. Two years ago I sended a link to this video to my mother. She liked the track very much and the video likewise. She immediately passed away last summer after 18 month of covid isolation followed by a wonderful holiday we could spent together. The dedication in the first scene of the clip says it all. They might pass away and their memory fades, but they lived their lives and none of them was an ordinary one. The good energy stays and far and foremost the love of the one, who stood behind the camera and took the pictures. It is a heartwarming positive song and a brilliantly adapted video. Thanks so much for that.
I'm proud of you boy Look how far you came Proud of who you are Happy how you changed I won't see you much more But that's okay I can rest assured That you're happy But I am not afraid I can see so clear Proud of who I am It's time to disappear This is my farewell I can't stay here I'm looking at the crowd I hope they understand That everything is changing Everything is changing Everything is changing Everything is changing I am not afraid I can see so clear Tired of being down Time to disappear If this is my farewell 'Cause I can't stay here I'm looking at the crowd Hope they understand Everything is changing Everything is changing Everything is changing Everything is changing This is no ordinary life This is no ordinary life This is no ordinary life This is no ordinary life 😊
Does anyone recognize the places? I'll start: 3:04 Schloss Herrenchiemsee, Bavaria 3:16 might be Bad Wiessee, Bavaria, and later the view over Lake Tegernsee to the village Tegernsee 3:48 the Café Schwaiger was just a "pearl" in Bad Wiessee - until around 2018 it had original furniture from the early 60ies - now it is demolished, a new house is there.
You, Sir, are criminally underappreciated. We, the lucky few, look upon brilliance
love it !!

I'm proud of you boy
Look how far you came
Proud of who you are
Happy how you changed
I won't see you much more
But that's okay
I can rest assured
That you're happy
But I am not afraid
I can see so clear
Proud of who I am
It's time to disappear
This is my farewell
I can't stay here
I'm looking at the crowd
I hope they understand
That everything is changing
Everything is changing
Everything is changing
Everything is changing
I am not afraid
I can see so clear
Tired of being down
Time to disappear
If this is my farewell
'Cause I can't stay here
I'm looking at the crowd
Hope they understand
Everything is changing
Everything is changing
Everything is changing
Everything is changing
This is no ordinary life
This is no ordinary life
This is no ordinary life
This is no ordinary life 😊
