  • Developing your own wiring diagram is one of the most important steps when it comes to wiring your motorcycle. In this video I show you my process for how you can develop a wiring diagram from scratch specifically for your own bike.

    Ok here you go RUclipsrs. A German guy speaking English clearly with solid camera skills and excellent communication skills. He’s much better than most Americans. This guy is definitely made in Germany, ha! Bravo Sir Josh. I’ll be rewatching all your videos when I pull my R80 out of storage.

      @@MotoWrenchers Hi Josh, I bought a 1978 R80 a few years back then it got sidelined because of Covid. I'm currently finishing a Yamaha xs650 cafe project with basically Motogadget products everywhere. It's ok, the kids didn't want to go to college anyway, lol! Not sure, if I'll start the R80 or not. It runs but need a full restoration. It's been very helpful watching your videos related to Motogadget. Unfortunately I find their instructions difficult to follow but understand as I'm married to someone who's first language is not English. You're doing a great job. (Ancestry says I'm 27% German, no wonder I'm a fan of German products, design etc.)

      Ah nice, I hear it's a great year ;) Would love to see a few pictures of your XS650 project. Are you Instagram? I'm happy that the videos are of help. With the Motogadget products the 'Made in Germany' still keeps up to what it once was. If you have any questions regarding the wiring, feel free to shoot me a message :)

    I can't believe the amount of information you managed to deliver in those 30 minutes! Awesome!
    I need to get myself a big set of coloured pencils! Seeing you use those to draw that wiring diagram made me excited to sit down and make a diagram for something! 😅

    I've just watched all of your wiring videos and I am more than impressed with your ability to communicate what you know and not be boring in doing so! Subscribed, saved, looking forward to the rest of the project.

      Hi Champ! Thank you very much for the kind feedback. I’m happy you enjoyed them and I’m excited to have you as part of the community. I think it helped that I started with absolutely 0 knowledge, so I noticed all of the questions one might have in the beginning that after a while become second nature and might get overlooked but are crucial for a good understanding. Have a wonderful day! Ps: are you working on any project at the moment?

    Wie hast du das mit dem Generator Kontrolllicht verkabelt? Ich dachte die BMW braucht zwingend ein Gen Licht oder Wiederstand?

    • @MotoWrenchers
      @MotoWrenchers  Месяц назад

      Ja mit dem originalen Setup auf jeden Fall. Ich hab auf eine komplett neue Zündung und LiMa von Vape upgegradet. Dadurch fällt das bei mir zum Glück weg. Aber im originalen Diagramm müsste zu sehen sein, wie die Kontrolllampe verkabelt wird. Ich habe dazu mal gehört, dass die originale Glühbirne deutlich besser sein soll, als ein Widerstand und LED. Aber ich musste mich damit wie gesagt nicht genauer beschäftigen. An was für einem Projekt arbeitest du gerade? Schöne Grüße Joshua
