Full support to our Chinese brother from Vietnam 🇻🇳❤️🇨🇳. Love to all East Asian countries from Vietnam
Great! Unity is strength. If we aren't divided nobody can harm us.
I actually genuinely agree with you and you actually couldn't have said that actually any better than me lol and this world actually genuinely needs more people actually like you in this world. @@versatrade1

Actually Vietnamese is part of the Chinese blood brother called Indo Chinese, like the white pirates Anglo Saxon.
If Vietnam supports China then why Vietnam buying Indian low class missile from India?
Amazing amount of space inside!
Interesting video. I don't know if the U.S has an autoloader,. But this may merely be a matter of terminology because the torpedoes are so large that every submarine will use a mechanized assist. However, a 17 second reload is an impressive speed, regardless of how much of the process is automated. The depth gage (10:42) goes to 400 meters. That is DEEP!
Wow turning a Kilo into a museum? They must be rich. These are still in active service everywhere.
The chinese have essentially developed their own diesel electric subs on par with Russian analogs and even have some things they dont have like AIP. Though the newest Russian diesel electric sub had it's basic figures given and is comparable to other foreign designs even without AIP.
Yes looking at hull numbers in their navy Chinese are pretty rich 😊
Technologically ahead, not just rich.
@@DorJinTanl actually agree with you
@@musa7010l actually agree with you and actually thank you so much.
Fortunately, modern Chinese subs have the latest technology which eases life on board and which makes the subs much more effective.
How do you know that?
@@Curtis69213 I follow regularly the Chinese military progress given by Westerners. If those news came from a Chinese, I'd think it's a propaganda. But here, when I see Westerners inform people about the Chinese military situation with impartiality, I can trust them.
@@GGLEDOU 👌
Why didn't Australia buy these Subs ?
@@perpetualgrin5804 Australia policy and Uncle Shame forbid the country to buy foe's military weapons.
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
WoW!!!! I never realized just how primitive the Kilo Sub really is / was!!! Unreal!!!!
I remember the 1991 PLAN submerged launch of a ballistic missile. Launched from the North Sea Fleet landing in East Sea Fleet waters. Gee. The USN did this in the 50s!
Great video ENI, thank you! I am assuming the batteries have been removed from that boat as she riding so high in the water. I used to work as a guide on board HMAS Onslow, an Oberon class boat at the Australian Maritime Museum in Sydney. As for the ward room table, to my knowledge, at least in Commonwealth navies, it was common practice for the ward room to act as a medical facility in an emergency. And you can be sure that, during her service life, that boat will have been spotless; hygiene is considered extremely important in such a confined space. Best wishes from across the ditch mate!
Thanks mate!
I'm sure everyone in the world's submarine fleets knows the story of the German U-Boat almost sunk by its own toilet.
Welcome China, the great Nation love 💕 from Pakistan

What a joke !
great one as usual. I should admit its internal design/organization is still way better than expected, i thought it might be old and messy given its from 60s-70s. It turned out to be well organized and clean. You can imagine crew could operate quite efficiently
Thanks for this 👍
Awesome! Go China & Team China All The Way!👍🙏🙂
*If the super secretive PLAN is showing such an up close view of*
this sub, you _KNOW_ that they have newer subs have
much _NEWER_ technology.
The thing about naval warships, you don't keep the shiniest, newest warships under wraps. Due to how impossible it is to hide objects that regularly weigh in at thousands of tons, shiny new warships are regularly paraded around and displayed for everyone to see.
One of the big benefits of powerful warships is the intimidation factor. If you have an advanced, and well armed warship, your neighbors will start sweating over the risk of it having its way with their own warships and coastline. With an organization so fixated on appearances/reputation as the CCP, they would parade around their most powerful weapons, including their latest and most advanced warships. They would get more benefits from intimidating their neighbors and rivals by advertising the PLAN's warships versus concealing said warships and hoping their opponents miscalculating possible escalations and conflicts.
Yea, what part of buying it from Russia did you miss out on?
@@Curtis69213 He wasn't wrong - retiring this sub and turning it into a museum means PLA has better subs. Moreover, those better subs are domestically produced. Pls note that the same Kilo subs are still in service in the navies of both India and Vietnam because they don't have anything better to replace them.

What a great tour video! Thanks for sharing.
Excellent Content as usual. Very interesting to see the sub-compartments. Plus they have a very pretty host to make the whole presentation great!
Despite progress in AIP and lithium batteries, diesel still has important role in submarines due to the power and range it offered.
Also they no longer are dirty and noisy as before.
Toilets are called"heads" kitchen is called a "galley" dining room is called a "mess" please use the correct terminology
Almost like this is just Chinese propaganda that doesn't actually know anything
Please make videos with the new Chinese attack submarine projects, with what projects it has in the future, with all due respect I am not interested in the kilo class
I think he did. Check his older videos.
wrt the autoloader: i am quite knowledgeable in cnc. there, people made great developments to reduce vibration and harmonics in the motion systems. especially with linear motors and sophisticated electronic controls. and lots of fancy simulations.
that makes it possible to move things around very fast and very smooth. the chinese are very good at machining technologies by now.. so it would not surprise me at all if they managed to build an autoloader, which is basically the toolchanger of a cnc machine, that uses all the tech mentioned above, resulting in a fast but quiet movement system - designed to handle torpedoes.
Someday nuke subs will be motherships for a pack of conventional subs which can be recharged undersea by the nuke sub
Why?
Wouldn't unmanned subs do the job just fine?
@@gelinrefira I expect unmanned electric powered subs to be the most common sub in the pack. They have no issues from all the design complications of sailors on board including air, food, water, controlled pressure living environment. But I expect a nuke sub lead pack to also support some conventional subs.
@@Ebonysails if done right, then one nuke reactor can power a whole pack of subs. Nuclear subs are expensive and limited in number. A whole pack of subs is much more potent and resilient than one sub. The nuke sub can tend a network of conventional subs over a large area. The network of subs do not need to be constantly moving, searching for targets. They can conserve their batteries and go for weeks between rendezvous with the nuke sub for recharging. Satellite sensors detect and track all surface ship movements, there is no need for subs to search out targets, they can simply wait for targets to come within range of their weapons (and nowadays those weapons have very long range).
This is really interesting. We don't get to hear much about PLAN here besides propaganda saying how terrible they are.
Yeah, but take what ENI says with a grain of salt too.. The idea that Kilos were equivalent to the Los Angeles class? Please
Hey, can you do a video on why Russia has so many different types of Corvettes on order? I didn’t even realize until right now they are still ordering multiple types at once.
13:26 interesting that the non-Chinese writing on the controls there is in English instead of Russian. I know that after the Sino-Soviet split the US and the PRC were de facto allies to an extent, but these Kilos were acquired after the fall of the Soviet Union right?
Great topic.
Keep watching, boi's.
Learn how to close your hatches, of your leased sub-marines.
the rule is when the sub is under way...CLOSE THE DOOR!. not like when the canada sub left the door open and then caught fire due to a wave of water entering the boat through the open hatches. HMCS Chicoutimi 2004...how stupid can you be.
Awesome. I've the Russian content out there and it would be awesome to get more translations and analysis of Chinese military defense shows.
Ohhh yes!!!
Seeing as I'm rather claustrophobic, I'll give the tour a miss if you don't mind! 😀
That's one reason why it's been retired man. It's dated tech.
12:40 pronunciation tip: you said "gauge" as if it rhymes with "lodge" or "gorge" ... instead it rhymes with "page" and "rage" - just ignore the letter U in "gauge" which will make it easier to pronounce
Guaranteed that there is absolutely no (zero) propaganda associated with this video ...
Looks, like a superannuated Kilo, attack, not a patch on, the 212 I'll be bound
Sure they say it's large but when you get in the thing it fits like a small...
Well when you steal all the plans for US subs it helps you "design" your sub dah?
All Russian made equipment in PLAN (including this 636 kilo submarine) are mostly in secondary level now. China is making much more sophisticated equipment these days.
this museum price 35 yuan rmb for maintaining retired vessels
worth going museum, and you can make appointment with passport
there are many more things to see, the type 901 first nuclear submarine of china, old ddg 112 jinan old ddg 101 anshan, old ffg 531 yingtan, and many other things to see
by the way, seat for rest are made of real torpedo yu-2, and dust can are made of shell of 130mm naval gun, you can simply sit on a real torpedo and watch the scenery of city qingdao
looks like kilo
edit: so it is kilo... well ok not really so much chinese than
Interesting how they didn’t want to show any of their torpedoes
China in few words: New GLOBAL leader of TODAY ❤!
Minus the human rights issues and surveillace and expansionism, one might think that China is advancing toward becoming a truly civilized nation.
Inside it will be water when an Astute class turns it into a reef
The museum has already opened, and you got go inside for a ticket 39 yuan (about 5 dollars). You can basically see and touch everything that's in the video.
Title should be "Amazing Tour inside Russian Kilo Attack Submarine"
Well AMAZING alright a Chinese sub with a sonar panel in ENGLISH really people.
13:22 So a Russian sub sold to the Chinese has English writing on its equipment? Why?
For exporting. Russian subs are sold to several countries.
The lady said she wants him to try? 😅
It is standard for our federation weapon system to have an auto loader.. it is our military 🪖 standard innovation 💡.. 😊 aint like that of the West .

Indian submarines are much stronger because...
Lack of toilet, makes it very light.
They shit everywhere like on their streets? That's a shitboat.
That's just a low blow. No need to act so western and insult your own dignity.
America is divided because of both political parties.
*This has the Submariner Prince Namor's Seal of Approval*
I couldn't serve on that submarine it looks nasty inside
féipàng de got stuck! haha
The museum sub doesn't look like the sub has any anechoic tiles, but I think the Type 039A does. Also AIP engines. I am curious about how long the sub can stay submerged with AIP. Probably a state secret.
I do appreaciate the host, the skinny one. lol
If anyone has ever toured a submarine, I will quickly know there are no fat submariners. LOL I went on one tour of a sub andthey had a plywood hatch outside. They said that if you have difficulty fitting through the hatch, do not go in the sub. LOL
Thanks. The 'bigger' host sounds quite knowledgeable about submarines though.
