    This is great. I want to do the same thing with my SP404MKII. Great guitar playing by the way!

    Did you figure out the lag, maybe midi out back to the drum machine. So they really talk to each other. I only have one midi cable so I can’t try it with my SR 16. I was thinking to put all the loops assigned to the RC 600 from the alesis. But it seems that it would just work with the drum machine on the side. Deal with it. Let me know how you got the midi to sink better. Thanks.

    Great! I'm assuming this would work just as well with the SR-16?

    Hello
    Is it possible to route the sound of the midi keyboard via USB, with a DAW, so that it is recorded in the looper?
    I send the sound of the midi keyboard to the lopper through the outputs of the interface, but it makes a lot of noise.
    I've seen it done with Ableton and the RC 505, but not with the RC600; the operating system of both is not the same.
    Thanks

      do you mean like a midi keyboard without sounds connected via the midi cable? i have my drum machine connected twice, 1 via the midi cable for the tempo settings and 2) via the instrument cable sending audio out and into the looper. then i have a USB cable out from the looper to the computer so that's how i hear everything.

    Does your or any drum machine have the ability to change the velocity/ dynamics of the loop ??
    Thanks

    • @JadeZabric
      @JadeZabric  Год назад

      what do you mean by velocity, like the volume? It only controls the drums and tempo, i can change the volume of each drum individually too, but it doesn't change anything on the loop itself except for tempo

    Hello - I've had no success transferring the midi drum patterns I made on the Alesis SR16 to my RC600. It will record the audio output, but changing the tempo of that sounds bad. How do you record the midi output of the drum machine? It is receiving the midi signal in the RC mixer but the record track light flashes red.

      i'm not recording the drum machine at all. it's going into the looper on input 2 i believe, but it's not being recorded on any track. so when i change the tempo the sound is still good coming thought cause i'm not changing the tempo of a recording, it's alway live. i see how you would want that tho, i'm going to do some experimenting on that.

      I keep coming back to the idea of these drum machines
      could you tell me if I can assign tap tempo to a foot switch on the Alesis
      Thanks

      A drum machine like beat buddy should sync properly as master sending start stop signal in time no matter when you start or stop the drum audio as it's the master , I hope this is not an issue and was just something you set up wrong or the drum machine you used is the problem
